If you were to open a store for lolita. Would it just be lolita? A spefici type of lolita? Would you order from Japan only? And other details. Feel free to discuss openly.

It would be fun to make a store based off of the Victorian era, and have lots of sweet feminine items in there. It would be clothes (lolita of course!) Including undergarments, stockings, and socks.. maybe shoes
Usually stores do order from other places, it doesnt just have to be just japan. I would probably check out the stuff avaiable in japan, and see if I could make a small partnership with them and their products, such as Baby the Stars Shine Bright or Metamorphose.

I would definitely have all types of Lolita. Sweet Lolita, Gothic Lolita, Elegant Gothic Lolita, Classic Lolita, Punk Lolita, etc. Including clothing straight from Japan is a must but I would want to stock some from places other than Japan too for a bit more variety but only the high quality ones. All Lolita accessories should be in there too. Socks, shoes, headdresses, crowns, maybe plushies, bags, petticoats, bloomers, ribbons, wrist corsets, neck corsets, parasols, anything related to Lolita. Maybe even some of the Gothic and Lolita Bibles or other magazines plus Lolita related movies/series? It might help more people get interested in Lolita. All in all, it would be a dream to open up a store for Lolita.

I would have a Gothic Lolita store with just Gothic Lolita stuff in it.The store theme would be a dark style, in one area there would be a tea room with all types of tea and sweets I like to have bitter tea with sweets...
I would only order stuff from japan.Only have Jgoth music on( Mostly phantasmagoria/Mois Dix mois) and some other stuff but it would be a very calm area to have a good time....

It's one of my after-grad goals to open up a Lolita store. My sister wants to design Gothic Aristocrat clothes, so I'd stock those. I'd also like to stock clothes from Japan, and from American companies, too. I'd have most of the main types of Lolita, Sweet, Gothic, Aristocrat, etc. I'd also stock the usual accessories, and hopefully stock giant plushies. heart And giant lollipops.
@Spookiness: I love the idea of a tea shop section. heart heart
@Kagome: The magazines/books/movies is another excellent idea.

I actually hope to open my own Lolita store one day ^^ (That's why I'm going to get a business degree when I start college (this year) heart
I hope to open up a shop that has the atmosphere that mixes elegance and darkness (but with a little bit of sweetness) ^^ I hope that made sense
I plan on carrying Lolita outfits of all kinds (mainly Gothic and Sweet (but I prefer GL and I don't wear SL XD). I'd also carry Loli-able jewelry, accesories, and other items (like Alice in Wonderland playing cards). The store would have a lot of my own designs (only a few actually built by me), and then it'll have some stuff from stores such as Baby, the Stars Shine Bright and Angelic Pretty heart

i would definatley NOT open a lolita store. if i were to open any kind of bad a** clothing store it would be in a place where the general population arent burnt a** jacks.
i would though open an inter net shop like all the diy-ers on e bay. but i dont have the time to sew and i would cry seeing my hard work go away... unless it sold for a generious lump some of cash...

If I opened a shop it would carry various things, and not just ones that are seen as 'lolita'. For we all know that something doesn't have to have frills and pretty ribbons to make a nice touch to an outfit. Plus, what freedom does it give? Definately be 'out-there' and underground styles.
I'd order from any shop as long as it fit a price range and was quality work/product.

I saw a comment you made to someone else who mentioned it, but it gives you no excuse. I swear a lot too, but you don't see me swearing as much as possible on here. I'm also concerned about some of the comments you have been making on various threads...i recognise your a constant member and contribute a lot, which we all appreciate, but just remember this guild is about Gothic Lolita, and you commenting on everything saying 'i don't give a damn' or something along those lines...really doesn't help your cause. Sorry i did choose to say nothing for a long time but it's actually starting to annoy me.
