That was the thing about this mansion, Anisia never knew where she was going, despite visiting often. She knew of only two rooms, neither she wanted to go back to, and she wasn't going to go back to Kiita in the lounge after telling her that she knew where she was going. For all she knew, Kiita would probably just bring her back to the house.

"Hmm..." After waiting a bit in hopes of someone miraculously popping up, Ani continued through the halls. Down one hallway and down another, the three-eyed girl officially decided that she would never know her way around this place.

Pick a door, any door...Anisia thought to herself. Well, that didn't really get her in a good place last time...the plant room and everything...but she was beginning to get desperately bored of going up and down halls with not even a trace of someone being around.

Jan, on the other hand, seemed to have the natural ability to find her way throughout the mansion, and was in one of the many art rooms in the place. She did love all forms of art, and she considered her garden one of them, but today, she'd given up on painting the forest outside of the window, having become board with the oil paints, and instead going back to her constant favorite. Her guitar. The androgynous blonde had begun to strum the strings, stringing together chords absent-mindedly as she hummed to herself, the music, while softer than usual singing, loud in the empty, echoing room. The door was slightly ajar, and anybody walking by was bound to hear it.

Sjajan wasn't the type to become bored when alone, as she had practice entertaining herself, still, she wasn't as adverse to companionship as she had been only a month prior to her growth.

Before Ani could consider herself lost, a sound caught her ears. A quite interesting...and really nice...sound. Someone was playing music around here. Looking further down the hall, a sole door was open slightly.

Relieved someone was up here, the girl quietly, but almost quickly, made her way toward the door. Once there, she soundlessly took a peek inside, just in case she was unwanted and wasn't supposed to be there in the first place.

Anisia hoped she hadn't made a sound. She liked how the familiar yet not-so-familiar girl inside was playing. The girl's appearance teased at a small memory inside her head, but she couldn't think of who it was.

Jan wouldn't have noticed her anyways, eyes closed, humming as she found the beginnings of her newest song. She loved creating them. In a way, you could say more in a song, could get concepts across to another that words failed to create... Music... Art... It didn't just ask, or demand a response... It inspired one.

Still, she happened to glance up through those long bangs, and caught sight of... Something. The music didn't stop however, as she stood, cradling her guitar in her arms, and opened the door further with a foor, raising a slender brow as she caught sight of the other girl.

Three eyes.

Her voice was soft, gentle, and her face expressionless.

"Anisia."

She remembered the girl. Lyrus' crush. Still, she didn't expect that Ani would remember HER.

Even as she watched the other kid approach and open the door, Anisia didn't move or say anything. Maybe she was mesmerized by the sound of Jan's guitar, or maybe she was just too shy because of being caught at the door listening. Still, she continued to listen to the music being played, up until the girl said her name.

She didn't know why, but something finally clicked.

"Jani?" Ani paused, "Wow! You grew! I haven't seen you since the first day we met..."

Of course, why hadn't she thought of her in the first place? She should have recognized those freckles, but Jan was still a toddler when they met. She wasn't able at her at eye-level back then, but now she could!

[Hope you don't mind, but I'm assuming that Ani is shorter than Sjajan, since the average height for a twelve year old girl is 5ft, and I have Jan abnormally tall at 5'2"...]

Jan, actually, was more than above eye-level, and that bright grin appeared briefly on her face, showing her pleasure at being remembered. The potato-sin halted her fingers' movements on the guitar, and opened the door farther, stepping out of the way.

"C'mawn en, then."

Expecting that Ani was going to close the door after herself, Jan resettled on the small sofa at the side of the room, gesturing to invite the other girl to sit. She'd made it a point long ago to learn how to pronounce her whole first name perfectly, as she already knew an 'Anny' and didn't like associating the term with others.

"Anisia, 'ow've ya been? Y'like th' music?"

((Ah, I see. And if that really is the average height for a 12 year old, then I'm very short for my age. >_> -is 5'2" and 15 yrs-))

Anisia gave her friend a smile and pushed the door firmly enough with her hand so the door clicked shut behind her. She wasn't sure if there was anyone else on this floor, and since it was highly likely because of its large size, she wouldn't want to disturb anyone else by slamming it.

She then proceeded to follow her further into the room and settled down on the couch at a friendly and comfortable distance. "I've been doing pretty well," she said with another smile, "And I like the music! Its really nice."

The topic of music reminded her of the instrument she was supposed to be practicing to play. She hasn't picked that thing up in a very long time. Hm. "I've been trying to learn how to play the flute. Kiita used to play it a long time ago and helps me with that sometimes. How did you learn how to play your guitar?" She asked curiously.

"'Ow...?"

She paused, face still rather blank, eyes thoughtful and distant as she reviewed her growing skill with the guitar. Truth was, she was rather good with ANY type of string instrument.

"... I... Got 'un fer a gift... An' played what I though' sound'd good... TH'N I act'lly learned chords 'n th' like. If y'like what yer playin', an' enjoy th' inst'ment, ya learn et quicker, yanno?"

Falling silent, her somber brown gaze drifted out the window to the forested landscape she'd been painting earlier in the day, when she'd first shown up. The art wasn't complete, because she'd lost interest, compelled to play her guitar instead. She loved it, and had named it 'Anne'.

"... Anisia... Lyrus misses ya. Ain't seen 'im in a while, 'ave ya? I saw 'im jes th' otha day..."

Which reminded her. Who said she couldn't invite her to the party? Maybe she shouldn't. She'd have to ask Lyrus about it later.

Anisia nodded to show she understood. While she thought Jan teaching herself how to play was neat, it was sort of like drawing - or painting, like her friend seemed to be doing earlier before she came. It always took a few adjustments and practices before making a painting or drawing look just right.

While her mind was on paints, Ani stood from her seat and wandered over to where Jan's unfinished painting of the scenery was. She gave the colors a close look, mentally approving of most of it.

When she spoke again, she refocused back to her again. Ani wasn't sure why, but she had the urge to...blush? It seemed like a silly feeling to her, so she spoke up in hopes to cover her surprise.

"Oh...Lyrus misses me? I haven't seen him since Flitch grew...What did he say?"

She asked curiously. The girl wasn't sure if Jan really knew Flitch or not, but she offered no explanation to who the other Sin was.
