The chair slid out, noiseless. Rain plopped down and leaned her elbows on the table top. Her fingers were cold when she placed her face in her hands. "I don't know what to do.." she whispered. Weakness... Echoed through her mind. I'm not.. She tried to fight back, but it echoed louder. Weak.. What's wrong with you?! The chair made a loud screech when she stood up abruptly. The tiles on the wall cracked when she threw her fist into it. A few pieces shattered when they hit the floor. Her eyes watered as she slid down to her knees out of breath. Throat tightening, her eyes closed and tears slipped. Don't let anyone see me like this, she prayed. Why must this happen now...

Rain heard footsteps coming closer and reached for the tiles on the floor. Without noise, she slipped out of the door and into the garden, running toward the stream.

That woman is finally gone.. She stepped back into the kitchen. The tiles in her hand went easily back into place when she held them to the wall. Her eyes were heavy and her feet were louder than normal when she walked toward the fidge. Her smile was light and the apples were cold in her hands.

Raistlin slowly makes his way into the kitchen and walked upto the chef. Ordering the normal extra rare steak, that was practically not even cooked. Before sitting however, Raistlin had retrieved a blood wine and took a sip before going to a table. Then turning he headed for a table and took a seat to wait for his meal. Shortly later the cook called for him and Raistlin stood up and aquired the meal, thanking the chef, then headed back to the table and began slowly devouring his steak.

Head aching, Rain shrugged to the door that opened to the garden. The stars shone so bright. At the moment, the moon sat, hidden amongst the tree tops. Rain's skin soon felt sticky to the touch thanks to humidity.
Juice filled her mouth as she bit into the first apple. It was so refreshing. Her shoulders rested against the brick wall as her legs sprawled out, unlady like. Her eyes closed, she thought about her mother. She always snapped at if she did something like that. "Rain, act like a lady," she'd scowl. "Rain! Stand up straight."
Instinctively, she lowered her legs and crossed them along the ground. She rolled her eyes as she thought about her mother's words controlling her, even when she wasn't there. Again she bit into the apple, this bite was tainted with the recent thoughts of her mother. Sighing, she shook her head and didn't think about it again. Instead, she focused on the smell of the air. Rain is soon to come..

She wasn't going to steal. She wasn't. She was here to.... beg food? No, that didn't sit too well with her. But she wouldn't steal. Ritska shifts into human as she draws close to the back doors and stands behind a hedge, straightening out her clothes. Since last time, she'd learned to transform without losing her clothes, though she couldn't explain how. Still, it was convenient. Ritska frowns slightly, peaking out and studying the back door from this courtyard like area into the kitchens. Inside, she could smell food and hear pots and pans clanking together. Ritska shuts her eyes for a moment, just soaking in the smells as she thinks of how to get some food from them without stealing any.
