my last one went ok, even though half the audience left halfway through the show. they were mostly of the emo/scene type, so maybe they just didnt get what we were trying to do.

Ash Rail I would have to say my best school performance ever was the last jazz band concert. I didn't choke and I finally proved to that guy who's been trying to put me down from the start that I know what I'm doing. It was my last time chance too, because he graduated last year. : ) good way to stand up to someone! 3nodding i've had a couple of experiences like that myself, so i know how it feels: you gotta show them what you can do.

My last gig was at a jazzclub in Seattle it's a nice club and pretty informal. Ii've played there several times in the past.

Our jazz band is hopefully going to the North Sea Jazz Festival up in the Netherlands...

our Wind Ensemble at school is making a huge trip to Disneyland in Anaheim to play there, so i hope i get into the band!!! whee our Latin Band doesn´t get great gigs, but hopefully we´ll find some more. this Saturday Big Band that i´m in always gets the same gigs. the funk band i started has some great gigs! we´re playing at a festival, at some party, and a nursing home (not the most happy of places sad ); the drummers dad has some serious contacts!!! razz

Our last gig was fine. The drummer and I shared some sake after the 2nd set, but we were both full so it didn't do anything. Some friends came by, which always feels good. The spot is pretty hip, and there's always a decent enough number there. We're playing there again a week from Friday...
