Wow, I can already tell that this will be a long reply.
Hunting... let me see... I know hunting is a natural thing, as our ancestors did it for survival, so it's only human nature. However, we don't do it for survival anymore, and unfortunately, too many people do it just for fun, kill the animal, and leave it to rot.
One claim why hunting is OK is so that the deer population can be lowered. But one has to wonder if it weren't for the sport of hunting, would deer really be so overpopulated? When this country was home to the Native Americans, were deer a problem then? There are several natural predators out there, as well, but unfortunately, we're killing them off, too.
It's sad that it's a prideful thing to do such things in this world when it's no longer for survival. Human nature is pitiful sometimes, but I guess it's to be expected when man assumes they are the supreme and dominant beings of the world. But that's another story.

My dad is such a jerk! He told me and my sister we were going for lunch but never told us where we were going. He said it was a surprize. Im animals rights all the way and my sister doesn't eat meat. Anywho he took us to a meat banquet!! That's where they gave awards to all the bastards for killing animals. Who got the biggest set of horns, who got the biggest bear that sort of thing. It was so horrible. I was very young, but if I were to go now I would have grabbed the microphone and told them how sick they all were!! I strongly Agree that it's for show now a days. It's about the pride those people feel. It's definately not about survival anymore!
