I really hate site to site rivalry but...
Recently me and some friends came across a site called http://magivolve.com/ We looked around a bit and explored the place and from everything we saw it looks like a ripp off of gaia. Some of the item ideas from gaia were even ripped as well as some Gaia "Slang" Words as well. Sure they could have had the same ideas but it looks like they copied gaia to me. whee
Has anyone else seen that site before and think its copying gaia in more ways then one or is it just me?

It's late, so the best I can do is post the link to the other thread and I'll reply with some substance at another time. =P
I'll provide the thread just so someone can get a broader idea of how others in the Gaia community feel. =] ^^;

This exact same thing happened in a Harry Potter site awhile back, me being the one who spearheaded the "peaceful" retaliation to the site, had a talk with thier admins, aparently it's something to do with rights to the images that we don't really have much control of. Overall, the Harry Potter site is still around and still using the images, there isn't really anything you can do about it, even though this is way less of a copy.

It kinda is, but Lanzer has sent his blessings to it. So I guess he approves. biggrin
But something I've learned is that more people have Gaia and hate magicvolve for "ripping" gaia off. So it won't be as popular. So either way, it doesn't matter.
