I loved RENT. Especially the song La Vie Boheme. I've driven many people crazy by listening and singing to it so much. What was your favorite part(s)?

Saw the one of the original tours when it first came out and got big back in 95. It was awesome. Loved Roger, me and a few friends would just sit on the phone, at school or wherever and sing the whole musical. I was always Roger, my best friend was Mark, and it was awesome. Lots of fun back in those days of high school.

i only saw part of the movie in my choir class...the beginning where they were singing "Seasons of Love" bcuz my choir class was singing it at one of our concerts

Rent is a huge fad at school... Kinda annoying, because we're a bunch of suburbian kids who don't really get it.
But anyway, it is gorgeous. It's an awsome veiw on the subculture and counter culture of the early 90s, as well as a veiw of the steriotypical "starving artist".
I still think that the broadway was a bit better. There were a few script changes that bothered me somewhat... Saddly, I had the broadway script memorized from listening to the full sound track a few too many times.
Saw it 3 or 4 times in theartres, then a few more on DVD. Gotta love Ideana's tats.

seen the movie but some people say that it is alright
but i do like one of the songs which it is
called "Seasons Of love"

OMFG I LOVE RENT!!!!!!
it was touring in my town in april so i went and saw it... Rosario Dawson is the ONLY good Mimi.... the OBC one wasn't too good, and the one i saw wasnt good either...
