*posts linky because I'm too bored to elaborate about them*

Anyway, there wouldn't be Miyavi if there wasn't a Miyabi and there wouldn't be Miyabi without Due' le Quartz.

Due' le Quartz, to put things short, is an indie visual kei J-rock band composed of Sakito (vocalist), Kikasa (bassist), Kazuki (drummer) and of course, Miyabi (guitarist) who is now known as Miyavi.

In every album, Miyavi includes his own rendition of a song from his former band. In Gagaku he sang Dear from XXX, Requeim in Galyuu and Shakespeare ni Sasagu in Miyavism.

And that's it for my intro... my opinion comes later...

I really like their music too 4laugh They're one of the bands I'm showing for my schools anime club's Jrock day. If you have Miyavi, you have to have Due' Le Quartz.

Anyway, yeah, I like the original renditions better than MYV's renditions (sorry MYV) but... Sakito's voice annoys me somehow. Maybe it's my natural bias against Koyasu-ish voices?

I haven't heard more than a few seconds of one of their songs in the video clip where he or Miyavi start giggling when Miyavi has to start singing. Sounds like a good band. I may look into them further. 3nodding

i know what PV you're talking 'bout! its on youtube, where he's suposed to be giggling..people on youtube said it wasn't him giggling lol confused

He had an obnormally small mouth, he looks like hes trying not to open his mouth wide.

I love Dué too much! I think Sakito has a great voice, and he is very talented at cat-noises, which shows in Muddly Blood. wink

I still listen to them loads. Kikasa is my very favourite bassist ever! He 'inspired' me to play bass too. My favourite songs are Dear...from xxx Discs 1&2, Re:plica, Byou and Meikyou Shisui.
