@Crow - well said <3
@butterred - but you must admit, the German people really did love Hitler when he came into power. They saw him as the one who would lead Germany into the future after the Treaty of Versailles and stuff (result of WWI) which left Germany in such a crappy economic condition.. he promised reform and a better life..
The point of the CR was that he (Mao) got rid of all the academics and scholars and sent them all to the countryside to work in the fields.. I should know, my grandparents were some of them.. sweatdrop
Also @ butterred - I agree that Mao did both good and bad things for China 3nodding

JhonnyRaincloud And if you're not Chinese, then say why you're in this guild, or why you like Chinese people...or whatever.
Why do I like being Chinese? Because we're smart! =D I think. AND WE'RE NOT FAT LIKE AMERICANS! XD Joking. Though my parents say that Americans are fat all the time. o.O I'm always like, "Not everyone is you know...Chinese people can be fat too..." Or something like that.
Whee...Chinese Arts and music are real nice! The drama too. Yay I'm Chinese...And China's culture or history or whatever, has lasted some time now...I think. [Sorry, not a historian here.] Yeah I hate it when my parents, mostly my mom groups North Americans all together. Most of the women nowadays get knocked up pretty quickly and I'd have to agree but then she goes and says "but we Chinese know better.. " and all that rolleyes *sighs*
Why am I glad to be Chinese.. well I'm proud that we were the ones that created so many awsum different Martial Art Techniques! lol and that we have a reputation that we're smart and dress individually.. haha.. 3nodding

I'am. KIND OF.
I hated the emperors power.
I hated how creating guns was baned, to top muskets and cannons we used spears. Really, that is a great example of when China was corrupt from power, although it was a short term event causing the long term event of China losing its l33tness. Good lesson in life though, unfortunatly the goverment at this time hasnt cought up with morale: Listening to other people and the majority view=Good.

I agree with Yarla: I'm proud because of my culture. I love the Chinese culture because it is so rich and full of different things even when I've grown up with it. There's so much to learn and experience from it. It really opens your mind and makes you accepts outside cultures more easily, I think.
Because of our culture, we live a different lifestyle and I really like that. What I mean by different lifestyle is like open family relations and more values on family and things like that. I really enjoy living in such a family oriented home and such. <3
