As far as we know K�zi�s first bands were Girl and Beyond the Reinsight, but almost nothing more is known about them. In 1991 he joined Matenrow (or Matenrou) along side Mana as a session guitarist. Matenrow released 2 demo tapes: U-RA-GI-RI and an apparently untitled one. He stayed with them for a short while however, as in 1992 he and Mana decided they had their own ideas on music and went on to form their own band which was none other than Malice Mizer. Some of the earliest Malice Mizer songs were in fact composed for Matenrow and can be found on bootlegged lives.
After Malice Mizer�s disbandment K�zi went on to join Haruhiko Ash in Eve of Destiny and found himself touring for the first time outside of Japan and playing at some major European gothic festivals. Soon enough he was a permanent member and the two of them are now equal contributors to the band. Aside from the internationally aimed Eve of Destiny however, K�zi soon after started his own solo Japan based career.
The first sample of K�zi�s solo work was in the form of a collaboration with the author Minako, for whose novel Izayoi no Tsuki he wrote a highly atmospheric and indeed, very K�zi-like soundtrack. It was released on December 2002 and followed up with a signing event which was the first time he had appeared to the Japanese public since Malice Mizer�s last event.
K�zi finally opened his website on the 10th of July 2003 and has since released one album and two singles. His first solo live was held on the 28th of May, 2004.
