Okay, this may seem off subject, but I'm doing a report about the Elder Scrolls Series. I know of nearly everything that has to do with Morrowind and Oblivion(that I need, anyway), but I'm unfamiliar with Arena and Daggerfall.
I need some background information on Jagar Tharn and his rather hostile takeover of Tamriel, and the events in Daggerfall from those that know about them. I know it may seem strange that I'm bothering to do a report on the Elder Scrolls, but most fans will understand it, and think about it using my line-of-reasoning:
Rather than research a subject in-depth, I could work on a subject that I can describe to an extremely detailed extent, and already know much about.
Anyway, can anyone help?

Don't forget Battlespire and Redguard!
They're as important (maybe even more) as Arena and Daggerfall.

The Imperial LibraryIf you need information regarding ANYTHING in Tamriel or Elder Scrolls Lore, they have it (and then some).

Not even close.
The real plot: Using the Staff of Chaos, the Imperial Battlemage, Jagar Tharn, betrays the Emperor and imprisons him in another dimension. Imposing as the Emperor, Jagar Tharn, takes throne. After he accomplishes the deed, he destroys the Staff of Chaos so it's magic cannot be undone.
But the ghost of Tharn's apprentice, Ria Silmane (who was murdered by Tharn), comes to you and gives you the quest to find the eight pieces of the Staff of Chaos and bring peace back to Tamriel.
