Mathias sat up close to the cockpit, having turned on the microphone in his helmet as well. Captain Twombley was relaxed for the time being, unaware that Michael's internal 'alarm' was ringing, loudly. Mathias rolled his neck out as the ship came closer and closer to the planet, a few cracks could be heard through his armor. Mathias stood up and walked the few steps it took to stand behind the pilot and co-pilot who were too busy to speak with him. He didn't care to talk to them anyways, all he did was stare out at the ever enlarging planet.

"Well you see I got here not to long ago and so far I haven't been assigned to one or told if I have. I'm kinda just trying to help everyone." he said after noticing the gun she picked up. Without hesitation it brought attention to her hips. He turned his head and scrunched his eyes rubing them with his thumb and index finger trying to stop himself from what he had allready done. He opened his eyes again and glanced over at the other pilot-looking soldier.

Linda looked midly worried and half-amused.
"You ok, Coop?"
She turned to the other man.
"Coop, this is my co-pilot James. James, Coop."
James nodded his head in silent greetings. He looked back at Linda.
"Where's his sergeant, 'Fly? Roiben's already given us our drop zone but no soldiers to drop as of yet."

"Yea I'm fine just got a little...distracted." He said trying to cover it up." Nice to meet you." Coop bowed back in respect. Coop scoped out the pelican and stepped inside of it zoned out from the two at his side. He gazed around from the seats to the cockpit. He stoked the apulstry and headrests obsessed with their forms. He seped into the cockpit taking his time glaring at the controlls." Amazing."

James gave Linda a look. All she good do was shrug back and followed Coop inside, stoping just behind him.
"I take it you've always wanted to fly?"
Linda carefuly set her assault rifle down next to her seat and slide into it. She tugged her helmet on over her spiky black hair and started the warm up systems for her bird. The pelican hummed to life just as James slide into his own seat.
"Oh yeah, and Roiben wanted me to tell you to met him for a drink when we get back. Looks like Coop's unit has just arrived."
True to his words, about a dozen more marines trooped onto the ship and started strapeing in. Linda gave Coop a coy smile and ground out what was left of her f** on a much burned dashboard and put the bud into her pocket.
"You might want to follow suit, boyo. This won't be an easy ride, dispite my flying."

Coop snapped out of his daze and came to his sences." Ohh, ok well good to know I have one now." Coop took the closes seat to the cockpit hoping to catch some glimpsis of outside the pelican. Then Coop turned his attention back to Linda." So after we get to the surface what do you guys do? Just come strait back?" He asked. The he put on the safety belt that had been laying next to him.

Linda and James finished the start up sequence and key on the comm.
"Don't rightly know just yet. It changes with every run."
A man's voice came clear the comm and filled the cockpit.
"Took you long enough. The other two pelicans are waiting for you to join formation just outside the air lock. Foxtrot Company’s going down. It's supposed to be a standard fly by drop."
The voice laughed.
"You know how those are. Stay sharp and come back in one piece, hooah? I look forward to our drink later. Your cleared for flight. See you on the other side and save some Covies for the marines this time."
"Acknowledged, Roiben."
Linda grinned and tapped her acceleration. The pelican slowly made its way out of the airlock. Once cleared of the metal hull, the pelican verily took off like its name sake. Two other less beat up drop ships glide into formation behind hers. Catcalls and teasing fill the cockpit for a moment before James flipped the broadband away from general to another frequency. Linda pretended to be pissed off.
"Hey now I was listening to that!"
"Why? Just a bunch a bloody fools acting they're part."

As the light in the belly of the pelican got lower Coops smile began to widen. He found space very intresting and beautifull, he pondered at the size of space. It's was an outlet for him to daydream about anything, it was a hobby he picked up from his father. It comferted him to think to himself, it was quite fun on long trips. Coop was hardly used to zero gravity, since the Titan had artificial gravity along with the transport to the Titan.
He tride to image to surface in a space behind his eyes. Coop contimplated the things he would see and do when he arived at Belfast. It's was obvious Coop haden't been off Earth for any reasons untill now.
"This Has to be one of the greatest jobs, ever. My ancestors only dreamed of this. They would be so glad to see this with me. It's just so odd to know that all of this was just theory or dreams."

Linda and James flipped down their TATRV visors and turned a knob on the control panel in front. The screen polarized and a screen targeting crosshair appeared following which ever direction James turned his head.
"The 58's online. Roiben says the LZ's thought to be hot. To much thermals from the atmosphere to get an exact count from space."
"Where you from, boyo?"
Linda tugged up on the control stick and brought the nose of her bird up. The entire view pane flared bright red and orange as the pelican started into the atmosphere.

Coop turned to face Linda.
"Raised in Japan, did some living in America. Then I stayed in Paris for a while. It's nothing like space though."
Coop wished them all goodluck inside of his head hoping that he would have any trouble landing. He waited patiantly to reach the surface. Relaxing and injoying the type of freefall. There were atleast two things he loved in life, falling and floating.

"Your from Earth? Huh, I would've put you somewhere in the colony worlds."
The trio of pelicans broke through the atmosphere. The screen cleared the inferno and it became less polerized. Linda pulled the ship to the right in a slow dive through the clouds. She glanced at the motion detectore and switched on the over head comm.
"Listen up, little boyos! LZ's going to be warm and I'm not stoping my ship. You know where the EZ is. You have a mandated two days before you'll get picked up. Call if you finish before that. You know where we live. Lock an' load soldierlings. ETA 30 seconds. Hooah!"
She flicked the switch back off and accelerated the drop ship till it was almost hurtiling towards the ground.
