I was watching the news yesterday and I heard that some guy who was walking on traintracks got hit by a train but escaped with only bruises and a few broken ribs, he claimed that he didn't hear the train because he was listening to loud music. Since he was alive after this incident he told reporters that he thanked "the metal gods who were watching over him from the kingdom of steel"
Now, if any of you have ever lived near trains, i have all my life, you'd know what kind of damage a train can do, i watched one flatten a shopping cart a few weeks ago rofl So this guy is VERY VERY VERY lcuky to be alive. So when you think about that, maybe the metal gods were looking down on him rofl

Anyone have any metal related stories?

It was so funny today because all my friends had heard the story and when going to the museum on a fieldtrip on a school bus we passed under a train bridge and the train car said heavy metal and i made the metal gods joke again.

yea, i think he might just need lay off the metal a little, its made him go def! Then he couldve heard the train in the first place and skipped the whole incident. On second thaught the story is way cooler the other way. emo

idk i must have shitty trains where i come from. whenever ive been near the tracks when a train was going by it was ******** LOUD. but maybe we've got shitty old trains that're falling apart and make more noise than they should, idk.
