How many are there? I know of Emerald WEAPON, Ultimit WEAPON and the late Diamond WEAPON. How many really exist and where can I find them? Also, how do you kill them all. Partically Ultimate.....I have a bone to pick with him.
Which what was the one that got it's head shot off in Juron by the pre-Makou Cannon?
I know, I'm not very far or educated about the game.

Ultima, Diamaond, Ruby and emerald.
Ultima, u just have to keep flying around in ur ship until u find him. Beat him like 7 times then he dies.
Diamond- well, u know where he is
Emerald-Is Underwater. I recommend getting the underwater materia if ur gonna take him on
Ruby- In the desert right next to the prison
Emerald and Ruby are cheap as hell. good luck with them

The life stream. =) Lets see.....that means I have to fight mr flyie crazy guy...about 4 or 5 more times. Lets hope I don't die. Is Ruby weak? Emerald......where is the underwater materia? Emerald-Is Underwater -I know. I swam into him, not knowing what it was and ran when I saw I had only 20 minutes to kill him. Sure, my battle with Diamond was....exactly 14 minutes, 23 sec and 97 miliseconds. but, I'm trapped in Midgar now. How come Hojo couldnt be dead and gone after the Helletic Hojo? Who wanted another one?

The one that gets it's head blown off by the mako cannon is known only as Sapphire WEAPON. That's the only time you see it, you don't get to fight it.
The others are Ultima, Diamond, Emerald and Ruby.

The Underwater Materia is attained by morphing a....uhh...ship dude(cant remember name for the life of me) in the pathway to the underwater reactor. You get the guide item from it and then trade it to the Kalm Traveller, conveniently located in Kalm in the building on the right, and voila! Underwater Materia!
Sorry if Im not much help with the exact names of stuff right now. Im tired, lazy, and cant remember offhand the names.

I think the Emereald WEAPON is the bomb, its my favorite, but sorry, I dont have any useful info to give.

I was also thinking there were two more weapons, for in the cutscene two extra weapons fly out of the crater. But I later learned that it was really just Diamond and Saphire flying out again somehow.

Sapphire: Gets it's head spectacularly blown up by the Junon Canon.
Diamond: Another victim of the canon, this time it's the Mako Canon.

Damn. Anyway, off topic, how do you beat Specimin: Hojo-NA? He's kicking my a** and I want to go rid the world of WEAPONs. On another note....HAHA Saphire! You got your head blown off! Guess it replaces J-E-N-O-V-A as the headless spook. Technoically, Diamond is a victim of you, concidering you are the one who kicks its a**. But WEAPON are badass and look sweet in FMVs.
