Now, I know Doonesbury is slightly anti-administration and doesn't make any attempt to hide it. Some don't like Trudeau's humor, but I still read his work every now and then. Every now and then he comes up with some real good jokes that both sides could agree with.



I laughed because Trudeau was trying to imply blacklist, while I read into it the knowledge that these Senators are probably up for election in two years, in pro-Bush districts...and some realists who understand what that means.

I used to enjoy The Simpsons quite a bit back when I used to watch television.

It took shots at anything left or right politically if they thought they could get a laugh at it. Even when they portrayed my political party in less then flattering lights.

There was one episode where Sideshow Bob (Kelsey Grammer) decided to run for mayor of Springfield on the Republican ticket. I believe the quotes were "No children have ever meddled with the Republican Party and lived to tell about it." and "deep down inside you long for a cold-hearted Republican to lower taxes, brutalize criminals and rule you like a King!"
