This is something interesting that some one posted in the A73 forums
Since 1993 abortion on demand in Poland has been illegal. There are exceptions (rape, mother's life is in danger, etc) to the law, but overall abortion in Poland is illegal. Let's take a look at the statistics.
In 1990, 54,917 abortions per year were performed in Poland. In 1999, it was 151 per year (due to causes stated above).
In 1990 maternal morbidity rates (maternal death rates) were 15.2 per 100,000 live births (this is before abortion was illegal). In 1999 maternal morbidity rates were 7.3 per 100,000 live births.
Maternal death rates aren't the only thing that has dropped since abortion became illegal in Poland.
Infant death rates were 18.1 per 100,000 in 1990. In 1999, infant death rates were 8.9 per 100,000 live births and are steadily declining (8.1 per 100,000 live births in 2000).
Women will die from back alley abortions.
Abortion is safer than live birth.
Abortion is safe for women.
Abortion has no effect on later pregnancies.
What have we learned from Poland?
These are all myths and abortion is, in fact, bad for women and children. Just look at the facts and statistics. They're all there.
To this, the Guest we all know and love, posted that Poland has widley available abortion even though its illigle, and that they ar enot reported (well, duh, thats a bit redundent, don't you think? Who commites an illigle act and then reports it? Unless they feel guilty that is.)
To this. Mizgiministarz (the one who posted the above information) replied that if what we say about illigle abortion is true, then there should be thousands of woman bleeding form between their legs or dead in the streets, and there arn't.
To this, I have to say, illigle abortions works in Poland. And the woman in Poland arn't as stupid as Molly and the rest of her flunkies.

but of course, they would try to ignore these facts, these statistics, by saying "yeah, well it won't work in america cuz i said so! we're not pollacks! freedom of choice! heil fuhrer! white power!!!!"

But, absorbed in thier own arrogance and selfish intentions, the anti-life people (MY new name for them because they called me anti-women << >>)will only shrug it off and say something like, "HOMG! You got that off the internet! So it's not true!!"
They blind themselves to everything, accept for when they like the view. The deafen themselves to everything preached, unless it's what they want to hear. And thus, it is an arrogent jargen that slurs from thier lips. Sad.

nuwa Dam... but I gotta agree all there gonna say is well that was in poland last time I checked this was america.
Roe vs. Wade was passed because of an ammendment I think it was about privacy (which protains to search and seizure, not abortion). And so America thinks they can choose who is and who isn't worthy to enter into society and that the constitution covers abortions in it's privacy ammendment. So, like said by nuwa, they're going to go running to the constitution to say it's legal and they're in America.

"America is diffrent then Poland." Yes it is, most woman in america today have given in to popular media and beleive that the right to kill your off spring is an essential part of being a woman...never mind that woman have somethign called a v****a, a cervrex, oveirs, and an area spufificly deisighnd to nuture and protect a new human being untill its strong enough to live out side in the world.
An area that hased to be forced open if one wants access to it once the human is there. Yes, abortion, although completly unnatural, is important for a woman to be a woman.
