Justin's remark made the angel rather nervous. Would the powerful and evil wizards here be worse than Vol-- The-one-who-must-not-be-named back home? She didn't quite know if she was vulnerable to physical or magical dangers now that she's back on Earth. If this place really is on Earth. Erp.

Turning to her friend, Neki couldn't help smiling at what Cerillia had said, even if she found it a little awkward when she seemed to have stared at her for a while. "You're so nice, Ceri.." She happily held her friend's hand, even if the tug was rather sudden. She laughed a little and made her way through the snow. The snow.. I'll have to find some sort of shoe.. my feet might freeze here. But she pushed that thought away; it wasn't that cold here actually.

As soon as one of the young adventurers had stepped off the stone platform, an undetectable signal had been sent out, and the only non-frozen force in the small universe awoke. None of them would yet be able to notice, but energies began to stir deep within the metallic statues in the snow. The largest one, still far away in the distance, beyond any of their sight, was the first to fully awaken. It was still weak and unable to move, but a red gaseous glow filled its eyes, and from a great distance, it watched them, waiting...

Meanwhile, deep inside the ruins, in a shaded grand hall, two familiar young grey fox anthros remained stuck in a crystal-like stasis field, caught in a never-ending instant of time. Nearby, a golden, oddly-shaped crown and robe floated in mid-air, also frozen in time, but without the stasis field, looking as though they were worn by an invisible king.

But of course, none of this was known to the young aventurers. Only that there was a faintly shimmering glow up ahead, and a hole in the ruins that lead into a hallway of a buried, ancient monestary. Inside the hallway, one direction was collapsed from the roof, so there was only one direction to go. The walls had glowing crystals in some areas, with one wall being the carved-out side of the mountain itself, until about a half-mile up the passageway, where it gave way to a more man-made, grey brick wall, lit with torches that were seemingly frozen in time, like the rest of the world.

The hallway had few doors, all of which were either locked or blockaded by snow or other debris, crushed through the roof on the other side. Shortly after the change in walling and lighting, though, there was a junction where another hallway ended at the current one. The current hallway opened up back out into the snow several yards away, the ceiling and walls having collapsed a long time ago. The new hallway went off to the right, gradually getting larger, as if leading up to a great hall.

John stayed croutched in the snow as he watched his friends trail off. Still unable to get over the fact that they were all sent through space, maybe even time all at the saem time, even Neki. He felt his stomache turn as they all left "Somthign aint right..." He grumbled as he trailed off after them, his eyes darting around every direction. "Ya...somthing is defenaitly wrong...Justins running a head and I'm here worrying....God this is weird." He adjusted to his new personality as he darted trhought he snow silently, slinig his polarm onto his back via a shoulder strap. Looking over his shoulder ever once and a while.

Justin continued to move, still ahead of the others, at a 'relaxed pace.' Then he stopped in mid movement, foot in mid-step, arms frozen at his sides. Head tilted a bit, then he shook it and continued walking.

At that moment, he had felt something, that he couldn't quite explain... "Meh.. Probably just hungry." He whispered. Arm reached back to his pack, sliding into the opening. "Yes!" He yelped, withdrawing what appeared to be a..... Chocoalate bar, of all things. He unwrapped it and took a bite.

Then another feeling.. This one was weird, and definately not right.... What was it? Well... He had the sudden urge to throw a piece of chocolate at someone....

Nekiru walked calmly towards the entrance to the ruins, taking a peek inside before tentavely setting a foot inside. "This looks like it might have been a monestary of some sort. Very old." she said mostly to herself. She walked further down the hallway, taking the only available route, as the second one was blocked by the collapsed roof.

The angel smiled gently at the glowing crystals that offered the little light in the long passage way. She enjoyed the soft glow. "They're beautiful..." she said faintly. She turned to Johnathan who had been quiet for a while and tilted her head slightly. "You look tense. Do you think there's something else beside us around here?"

The group approached the turnoff in the hallway, which led to a pair of enormous old doors. They were dark and it was hard to determine if they were wood or stone from their dark brown color. Either way, they'd be difficult to open, but weren't locked. Meanwhile, apon closer inspection of the hole in the main hall that led back outside, one would notice a sudden, unexpected drop, probably about 15 feet at least, only two feet out. Anyone not being careful would have had a nasty fall if they chose that path.

Under the thin crack beneath the behemoth doors, there was a moving blue light. It rippled and wavered like water.

Meanwhile, outside, the statues were just barely comming to life. One or two twitched slightly in the snow, but aside from that they made no motion at all, other than the gaseous clouds darting around inside them. Silently, the guardians were waking up.

John's eye survayed the seroundings of the ruins. He dropped his polearm form his shoulder and grasped it lightly. "I dunno, that's whats troubling me." He siad to the angel. He gazed around every nook and cranie there was in the imediant vasinity. "Watch for this eh?" He said, finding the 15 foot drop. He continued to gaze around the ruins. "Somthing evil is asunder...." He said quietly.

Justin was happily walking, about to take another bite of chocolate... Then Cerillia spoke, and he froze up. He fumbled for a minute, tossed the bar over his shoulder, amazingly, right to her, then began walking much faster. Nervous much?

Once close enough to the doors, and completely ignoring the large gap, he moved forward. He moved around infront of them for a bit, got down on his hands and knees and tried to look under, then hmmphed. Turning around he placed his back against the door and began to push, though to no avail.

"Open sesame! Open! Ajar! Kazam!" He frowned and slowly slid down to the ground. "Well.. No luck."
