Qylk nodded and flicked his tail some. "Ah. Been kinna like that myself, hehe. Most of my kind are wanderers... usually we wander together, but I guess I kind of got separated from the others."
There was no note of regret or worry in his voice, as if the fact he was now perhaps totally separated from his kin by a great distance didn't bother him in the least. "So, you on your own, or do you ever travel with anyone? And I'm surprised you haven't seen something as big as a Legolith before, travelling like that. There's a lot of big guys in these woods, though you might not always notice them. Funny, huh? The biggest of creatures are sometimes the least noticeable."
He blinked at the kit's nuzzles on his leg, then smiled and chuckled. "You're awful friendly, too, I see."

Sev yawned quietly, then finally stopped nuzzling, just resting his head on the ground.
"I've never seen someone like me. I think I am the only one, maybe a.... Mutation?" Tails sparked again and he meepd, flinching quite noticeably. "I shocked myself.." He noted, shyly. "I travel on tree tops often... Or water... Sometimes I even steal rides on other animals.."
He mrewed quietly at the comment, he did have a habit of being quite friendly.... He had no fear... Well, except for being crushed by those giants... WIth no fear, he had the freedom of being 'completely oblivious' to danger...

Qylk laid down next to Sev and yawned slightly, then gave a soft nuzzle in return. "Really? That's interesting. Well, if you ever need a group to hang around, maybe for protection, or just to not be alone, you're welcome to join me and the other..." he paused for a moment, trying to remember what most other creatures called his kind. "...phantom foxes, as long as ya keep up, hehe."
He blinked when Sev accidentally shocked himself, then smirked. "Seems to me you're still not entirely used to your magic yet. No worries, everyone's always learning more about themselves. Magic is funy stuff" he said, his fur having changed color slightly now that he was calmed down. "Ever hitch a ride on a dragon?" He winked.

Sev yawned again, mewing quietly against the returned nuzzle. "I'll join you, gladly... And I have no problem keeping up, I can moved quite quickly, in -all- directions." He flinched when Qylk accused him of not being used to his magic. "I am used to it.. But sometimes it gets away from me... You might say it takes a mind of it's own, sometimes.." He mewed again.
"A dragon... I beleive I have... I was taking a peaceful walk... Next thing I knew I was in the air, being carried by large claws..." He whimpered quietly.

"Alright, then, hehe." Qylk looked around some and then spotted a tree that seemed to meet his approval. "Follow me, s'not a good idea to lay here out in the open all day."
He got up and skittered over to the base of the tree, then he suddenly... poofed out. He turned slightly translucent and started to evaporate into a light greenish mist, which then floated steadily upwards in a cloud. A pair of eyes inside it looked back down to see if Sev was following. Then he apparently decided to help out, and floated back down. There was a light tug on Sev from all directions as the mist settled around him, then they both floated to one of the very tall tree's upermost branches. Once on the limb, he moved aside and returned to normal and broke some smaller nearby limbs to lay accross two others, to make a sort of platform to lay on. Then, he resumed chatting, as if nothing odd had taken place.
"Not a good experience with the dragons then, huh? Thas a shame. Well, don't be afraid of all of them. Some are actually quite nice. And some just pretty much ignore you, even if you hop on their back when they're flying."

Sev was just about to follow when Qylk had decided to help. Instead of becoming worried, he just relaxed, mewing quietly and looking around. Once they settled, and a playform had been made, he laid down on the branch.
"All creatures have some good ones to them.. Even the darkest of ones can have a good side."

He wasn't evil, just hungry. Later, I ran into him again, and he'd had something to eat, and he offered me a ride accross the swamp."

Sev looked around slowly, sniffing the air a bit, then sneezing. Slowly he looked back to Qylk, mewing quietly. "Some are predator, the fact of life.... I prefer berries and rabbits myself..." He had remembered back to when he had fed that furre earlier.... Never had he seen someone like her, she was... Different.

Qylk flicked his tail idly and scritched at his shoulder some with his hind leg. "Yep. That's the way life is, hehe. Personally, I stick to fruit and water when I feel like consuming something. They're generally the best-tasting."
He blinked as something caught his eye, and stopped scratching. He narrowed his eyes and peered off into the distance. Something familiar was darting through the forest. He grinned and stood up suddenly. "Hey... I think I see one of the others. JADE!"
He suddenly turned into a white mist, but retained his shape for a moment. Then, he grew and changed shape into an anthropomorphic form. Then his fur returned to normal and he stood up, waving to some creatue in a field a ways off. "Over here!"

Sev seemed to nod his head as Qylk spoke. He would have responded, but instead he tilted his head to watch him.. He had noticed one of the 'others'? He must have meant one of him. So he turned his head to look at where Qylk was looking, mrewing quietly. Head lowered when he looked back, to find a furre where the other feral once was...
He couldn't do that, no fair.
Sev sighed and rested his head on his paws, looking between the figure of interest, and Qylk.
