For all of you musical types, I have found a wonderful program out there that can help you compose some music. NoteWorthy Composer is some fabulous software that can make composing easy. Since we're all intelligent here, I'm sure some can appreciate this software, plus you can make MIDI files into sheet music you can edit!

Finale is always good for sheet music authoring. There is a free version (Finale Notepad) that is pretty decent, but it doesnt export MIDI files. You can pay for some minor upgrades ($25 gives you a few new staves to work with, and MIDI exporting/importing), or you can buy the full version. All $600 of it (I think you can get a student discount for $300). Its professional level, but it is amazing software. Highly reccomended.
