Proudly_Jewish We seriously could start a petition... I have some Goyim friends that might (MIGHT, it's not certain) sign it just to help me out... And WTF is there a necklace with a cross but no necklace with a star of david? crying You know what I've been thinking they should though? I've had this idea for a long time, and I think lots of people (even Goyim) would like it.... they should have flags of different countries. Kinda like the Anti-Von Sisters picket signs except that instead of a V with an X on it, there'd be the flag of some country. I'd buy an Israeli flag 3nodding I think there should be a necklace with a menorah. that is the symbol of judaism.

It's important, but the star strikes me as more of a Jewish symbol. sweatdrop

I guess that's just the one holiday that gentiles really know about...At least more than the others. They can relate more to it, so they use it as a symbol I suppose.

I still think that if they had any sort of Jewish based item that it couldnt be something of actual religious importance. Gaia wants to remain fairly neutral in its items and at the most would have like, toned down, blue and white colored items.
And I know Im going to get responses saying there are "cross" items and that shows gaia isnt being neutral. And in response, they have stars too, so get over it.

First of all, the Star of David wasn't in much use as a symbol of Judaism until about 600 years ago. By contrast, the menorah (seven-branched) was suggested by the Torah itself during the events that took place during our desert wanderings.
Secondly, the menorah can have any number of branches; it just means 'candelabra'. When speaking specifically of the one used for Chanukah, it's called a chanukiyah.

Donovinhs Knight I made the stripes like on my dads tallit. I also made a male and female version ninja Very cool! I want one now.....my real one is all silvery and black, I think in the Hamachor Judaica it was for males, but who says that one particular look is assignied to either gender(regarding talit, that is).....well, the pink and flowery ones, I guess aren't as non-gender specific....oh vey!
