Ellipse City Background history to come
Ellipse City, home of the Dark.
'Every powerful whim has a powerful pull, even this one. Home to you and me yes. Home to others without respect to the dark? I think not.' The writing enscribed on the walls read. Jamais stood there her hands behind her back looking at it.
"Father forgive me if I fail in completeing your task." She bowed her head softly walking away from the walls of the gym. Turning around to see a weary trainer. "The history of my City?" She said with her head tipped to one side looking at the stranger curiously.
"Well, I suppose I can spare a while to tell you about my City. Seeing as there's no one waiting for a pokemon battle."
"When I was younger, maybe the age of three or so. My mother had already passed on so I never knew her. But my father was my best friend, He built this town with his bare hands. He promised that we would have a place to live, a place that was safe for everything that was misunderstood."
She paused, "He knew everything I had been through as I was learning to be a trainer when I was five. Teased and laughed at because I knew my dad was going to be famous. I finally left the training acadmey only three months into the program. By that time my father had the gym built, and the tower was standing. According to him it'd been there for a while, I'm not sure if he built it or not but it was old and creaky when I was finally brought here."
"About a year later I was just over six years of age when I was attacked by a Kangaskhan inbetween here and on my way to the next town. Saved by a Houndour, that is now my pet. His name is Savvy. My father use to have a large team of pokemon, one such was a rare evolution of eevee, Umbreon. I had always admired his team and wanted to be just like him."
Jamais paused, "The town has it's own mysteries. Just as everything else. The tower," She pointed to that which towered over her gym, "Holds something unknown. No one knows, as far as I'm aware, knows what's inside of it. But I have a feeling that's why all the dark pokemon are drawn here... Who knows for sure though, right?"
She gave a soft chuckle and went on....

Ellipse Tower and Gym Desc here [gym desc will also be found in gym thread]
Ellipse Tower, one that stood here for many enos before this town was even built. Unknown is what lives inside, be it dangerous or some crazy old coot we never know. Jamais can be seen standing outside it from time to time. This is the reason for the town being named as it was, for it holds the symbol that is used as the badge of the gym. Is this why alot of the dark pokemon are drawn to the city? We may never know....
