Anathia gathered all of the teens together and gave them their necklaces. Shining jewels were wrapped in a thin string of gold and hung on another golden string.

"These," Anathia began. "Are communication charms. If you breath on it, it will send out a magical signal to all of the other holders of itself. After that, it will start transmiting any words or noises that you speak into it. So! All of you come grab one."

After handing out the necklaces Anathia set up a list of who would do what watching, at what time, and where on the borders.

((This is how it will work:

You can RP your Pundu watching the island wherever you want, at whatever time of day!

Anybody that makes a decent sized post gets one of those necklaces placed in their item box on their Pundu's tag 3nodding So, at the end of your post, if you feel that you worked hard on it, post what color you would like the jewel to be! ))

Rain stood silently on the edge of the town, keeping an eye out for any thing that would cause problems. She sighed and started pacing back and forth to keep moving.

A small giggle came from behind and Rain ducked just in time to miss being tackled by Sachi. The baby Pundu flew over Rains head and landed, rolling on the soft ground. Rain walked over and picked her up by the scruff of her neck, giving an accusing look.

"No reason I suppose," she shrugged and looked at Sachi. "You have to go home." Sachi tilted her head, "But why?" "Because this isn't the type of thing for babies. Now go," Rain said as gently as she could, not trying to sound irratated, and set Sachi back down.

The anglic teen walked up to the toddler, "You really should go, you know" She smiled breifly. She turned to Rain, "So, you... ready for whats to happen?"

"More or less," she shrugged. "I guess one can never be really ready for something like this."

"Thats true" a grim expression appeared on the girl's face. She nodded, then looked to the mountains.

Zamir walked along the edge of the town, bow slung across his back from practice and a quiver of arrows. The necklace instead of slung around his neck was looped and tied on his upper arm. The teen raised his hand to the two other and raised an eyebrow at the baby.

"This sucks!" Thomas exclaimed, picking up a rock and winging it as hard as she could. It flew long overhead, finally landing in the ocean with a barely audible 'plink!' a dozen brightly colored fish scattered from where it landed.
"You can't help it if this is where they posted you, dear." Dian said with compassion, floating behind the disgruntled teenager, casting his eyes over the waves of grasses that blew in the morning wind. Thomas was assigned to watch duty at the crack of dawn to noon, way over on the beach front, far away from town or any other pundus, the far outfield of baseball where all the players were rookies who could barely bunt. All alone out in the field for hours, sitting and baking under the sun, wondering why the team batting switched and ran out to the field.

"Don't even think of cussing everyone out over the communication crystals, either." He warned, watching the demonic lift her necklace and stare at it. Thomas shot him a slightly amused look but let the charm drop.
"You know me too well." She said quietly, sitting down on the side of the hill and staring out at the sky, progressively brightening to greet the day. This sure beat school any day of the week, but sucked compared to still being buried under her blankets. However, it also beat the crap out of sleeping on a cold rock cave floor. The blades of grass carressed her form through her fur, a soft cushion over the earth, warming under the rising sun. Like a cat finding a nook for an early morning nap, Thomas wriggled until she settled in comfortably, letting her long claws support her head like a pillow.
She let her eyes slide slowly closed, heavy lids succumbing to the early hour at last. She couldn't afford to sleep while walking could she? Dropping off into the sands would probably result in her drowning. Thomas smirked, then maybe she could have her own turn at haunting her damned poltergeist.

Darkness crept around the corners of her awareness, fading in before the piercing voice of her keeper broke into her conciousness.
"You're supposed to be on guard!" He cried, trying to shake her awake in vain. Damn his incoporeal physique!
"I am on guard, i'm watching the inside of my eyelids...Mm...All good here." Thomas murmered, knowing just how to enrage her guardian. Dian stomped off, before grabbing a rock-- yes, actually grabbing it and winging it at Thomas' head. Through his rage and frustration his hand became solid enough to grasp the small stone, lift and fling it-- polterigeist indeed. Perhaps one day he could spin tables around the room- that would rock!

"OW! You lummox!" She cried, rubbing her small wound and glaring at Dian. "The heck was that for you--!" Thomas leapt for the hazy form of her guardian, landing and tumbling through the grass. "If you still had kidneys, I'd--"

The sounds of a scuffle and growls emerged from the other charms, carried by the dark green crystal suspended around Thomas' neck. It was almost black, but suited her just fine.
