~note scrawled on very wet paper in very spiraly writing~ I ssshall get out of tsshisss pooll and learrn to help mocher wicsh 'er booksss. No longher ssshall i be tsshe une usshlessh une.

He was not in the pool so Hatter figured that he had taken the little tunnel she had built that let him go into one of the outdoor pools. "Maybe Undine taught him....but how did she get paper.?"
The demon shruged and stood back up. Adriar would eventually get hungry and want his breakfast and he could find it himself.

"mine....returrn pleassse" He hauled himself out of the pool."umm...." She backed up a step as he crawled out of the pool and headed toward her. Crap shouldent have talked"Pleassse..." He smiled at her, revealing a bit of sharp, ivory teeth as he crawled to her. When he reached her he grabed her leg and hauled himself up so he was balanced on his tail and looking up at her from the level of her stomach. The Demon tried not to think about the fact that one swipe or bite and her insides would be outsides as she handed him the note. "Sorry, i didnt mean to step on it."" No worrriesss mamma." He slid back down to the floor and sat there looking at her."I'm just going to go feed Carthan then...." She forced a smile and darted out of the room, locking it behind her, in what she hoped was not a fearful manner.

That nasty little cat had left a nasty bite on him and it had taken longer to heal, espically since the wound stayed wet. Hatter had come to change his bandages ever day or so, and he had gotten over her touching him and let her. She really did care, even if he didnt have to like it.
At the moment his tail was wrapped in a bright green bandage, since that was all Hatter had until she went shopping. The color clashed horribly with his scales, but it kept it from hurting and getting infected.
Mottthherrr isssssh nicccssee. He though to himself as he swished his tail around in the water.
No matter how much trouble he got into or no matter how much he creeped her out she still loved him. "Adri! i have new bandages!" the afformentioned demon poked her head into the pool room and looked at Adriar.
"You can get that green thing off now." He watched her walk over and set a bowl full of stuff down. "Won't hurrrt?""Cant promise that, but i will try to make it hurt as little as i can." That was another thing. She didnt lie to him. He knew it would hurt, it always hurt, and she always told him it would.
She picked up his tail and set it in her lap before starting to remove the bandage. It did hurt, every time a piece of his flesh stuck to the bandage and had to be pulled off it hurt. Hatter went slow and carefuly and tried to get as little caught as she could.
Once the green one was off she gently rubbed something into the wound so that it numed slightly and started to wrap a blue bandage around his tail.
It matched his scales.
Somehow Hatter knew that Adriar didnt like the white sticking out in the water and she had gotten a blue one that would match.
