Divination

Instructor: Professor Kuroe

Divination is an Elective Class, which means that first years do not have to take it. If a first year student has a strong wish to study the art of Divination, they may be able to participate with my permission.

While I love fun and games as much as everybody else, I will not tolerate such shenanigans in my class. Divination is an Art and I shall make certain none of you will think lightly of it after taking my class.

Schedule

Second Years will meet on Tuesdays (Late Afternoon) in the Library, and will be studying Dream Interpretation, Tea Leaf Reading and Astrology

Third Years will meet on Wednesdays (Evening) in the Astronomy Tower, and will be studying Intermediate Astrology and Crystal Ball Reading

Fourth and Fifth Years will meet on Thursdays (Evening) in the Libary OR the Astronomy Tower, and will be studying Advanced Astrology and Tarot Card Reading

Sixth Years will meet on Fridays (Late Afternoon) in the Library (or, for students concentrating on Astrology, the Astronomy Tower) and will be focusing on the student's choice of Divination to be approved by me.

Seventh Years will meet on Mondays (Morning) in the Library, and will be continuing with Advanced Analysis of their Sixth Year Divination Studies.
(All Seventh Year Students are expected to assist with tutoring on Monday Evenings as well)

Tutoring

For your assistance, Tutoring sessions will be held by upper classmen on Mondays in the Library. If you do not feel comfortable with the material, and ESPECIALLY if you have no previous experience with Divination, it behooves you to come to the tutoring sessions. The Tutors are there to assist YOU.

If you are interested in becoming a tutor, please indicate so along with which grades you can assist with.
As additional incentive, I am awarding up to Fifty House Points just for volunteering to be a tutor. All you have to do is answer a 5 question quiz. For every correct answer, it's 10 house points.

To actually BE a Divination tutor, I will only accept applicants who score a 4 or 5 (Perfect Score) on the quiz.

For those who score a 3 or less, you still get (10-30) House Points as a "Thank You" for trying. So basically, EVERYONE WINS. Good, no? ^_^



Please note that since Seventh Year students are required to mentor their underclassmen, they will not be awarded house points.
