Actually, I've started to understand the 'nut'-warnings a little better after talking to a US friend of mine. They have really many serious nut-allergic-people over there, and the allergy is deadly. I mean, some schools don't even allow nuts inside, 'cause even touching them can give allergic reactions to people. (now, there's a scary thought!)

However, telling people that a bag of nuts may include small amount of nuts is... rolleyes

Of course it's understandable to put "nut" warnings to chocolate, and all that may contain small amounts nut and nut isn't one of the ingredients. But putting nut warning to bag of nuts.. whee

One of the craziest I've heard is that in cars is warning "Do not drive your car to swimming pool!"

You know, most of these warnings are printed because of the crazy legal system of the United States, where you can sue the producer if you harm yourself using their product somehow wrong if there is no warning against that kin of use. That's just crazy (and people there seem to be either really stupid or then really smart to scam money out of big companies).

I've never been to a sauna. crying I've lived in america my whole life, and the only places that I've ever been to that have them are like hotels and stuff, but you have to be 16. Well that's coming soon! In march!

You need to be 16 before you can go to sauna? O.O

well there you do. I guess they don't want children 'playing' in it and they might not understand what tempurature to put it at and might get hurt... but I think if a parent is with them it would be okay... neutral Stupid american rules. But not all saunas are like this.
