Aeron thought she saw his shoulders settle down, a physical tenseness she hadn't recognized till it was released. She gave a soft smile to see him relax, even a little, it didnt' seem he did it often. "Its hard to see the good that can come from change when it is the pain that is at the forefront of that change." She said giving a slight shrug. "But in time we learn paitence, and we learn to wait out the change for a new beginning." She smiled, thinking about her Grandmamma's words flowing from her own lips. A soft thought lifted to the moon thanking Selene for the wisdom that came with her love. "The really hard part is learning the patience." Releasing his hand she reached up to ruffle his hair. "But we do learn."

Kayne gave a small laugh at her affectionate gesture. "Patience... isn't really in my vocabulary it seems," he said softly, still looking into her eyes. "You must have a lot of patience. Sitting here, listening to the bugger who injured you 'cause he was too pissed off to bother watching where he was going. I really am sorry about that. I didn't really hurt you did I?" he asked suddenly concerned because the thought hadn't crossed his mind until now. She must think I'm an idiot right now, he thought to himself.

The mood lightened once more and Aeron's laughter lingered on the air once more at his apology. "Don't even wory about it." She said sudenly picking up the offending limb and wiggling it about. "I'm fit as a fiddle." She winked at him her eyes sparkling. "As for paitence, well, that takes time too." She said smiling. "Its kinda funny you gotta be patient for paitence."

Kayne genuinely laughed at that. He felt light. Even though nothing had really been solved, he felt as if a huge burden had been removed from his shoulders. "That really is kinda funny. I don't think I ever thought of it like that." Well... in truth he had never thought about it before. He had always been more prone to react than sit back and evaluate certain situations.
"So... do you come out here often?" he asked, trying to think of something to learn some more about her. He felt a bit like a heel for dumping all of his personal issues on her and not taking the time to show some interest in her.
