Lokni tilted his head. "You'll be met with failure." he said shortly. "Control the pain, control the memories, and maybe you can control the source. But not yet."
Kalina nodded her head. "Aurion, sit down." she said serenely, and exchanged another glance. "Memories..." she paused, and nodded.
Yes. Hers were less painful than Lokni's. So she would start.

Shy started with surprise. "You are indeed, young looking. But I have always presumed that you were in your prime, and not so much younger." he shook his head, frowning. "And with children?"
It didn't bother him, not much. As long as she wasn't a child herself. But he couldn't remember his own teenhood cleanly, so it made him frown.

Aurion took a seat rather aburptly and waited further instruction. " I assume you are going to attempt to spark my power again.. yes?' He asked, his voice ever so slightly wavering.
Ruveila giggled. " Well by human standards, teen parents are appaling, but for a dying race with fertility problems as soon as they reach adulthood... its just a bit different. I am as mature as any adult, I just look younger. Now Malice on the other hand.... she is the one who's mind works much like an angry child.' She stated then a bit of worry crossed onto her features. " I hope Aurion is alright.."

Shy smiled. "I'm sure everything is fine." he assured her, patting her arm. "As well as Malice..." he arched a brow. "It would be interesting to meet her." People were interesting. Ru's race was fascinating.
It would all lead to the same benefits, in the end.
Kalina nodded her head. "I'm going to pass you a memory. I'm not sure if it will work this way, so you need to hold still, and tell em what it is I've passed you. Tell me if you can remember it. I want to see how your power works, if it only works with new ones, or if you can recieve existing ones already." taking a breath to calm herself, she reached out with one hand.
And touched his cheek.
Nothing, at first. But a soft warmth, a glow. And then a memory. There was nothing unpleasant about it, in fact, the flash of faces, the blending of surroundings was quite... awe inspiring.
But it hurt. A wrenching feeling just like before, as if it was unnatural.

Aurion concentrated as the rather plesent memory hit him. The faces of the women in the memory were beautifula nd the landscape dazzled him, it was almost like apardise.. but despite the plesent ness of the memory, his body began to tremble and the pain began anew. Aurion let out a pain wretched cry and wanted it to stop, it hurt.. it bloody hurt.
Ruveila had keen hearing and she had heard Aurion cry out and bolted upright, all her wings standing on end. It was a facinating site to see this if one was not familiar with Daemon. Her eyes swirled rapidly in different colors. " I don't like the sound of that.. are they killing him up there?!' She exclaimed, fully ready to go up there and protect the fae if need be as the spirit gfamiliar kitsune, named Dawn Crow swirled around her.

Shy frowned, smiling. "His gift is somewhat unusual, I suspect. And some gifts do cause pain when they are first being used? The more natural ones come at command after some time... but gifts like this." he shrugged, trailing off deliberately as he nodded his head. "Everything will work itself out."
Meanwhile, the two tutors looked at Aurion, and nodded. It was Lokni who said.
"Very well. We'll be practicing with memories, Aurion every day. The pain will eventually lessen, or you will be able to use the pain and direct it to another expendable source."
The woman nodded. "But meanwhile." she whispered. "I'll get one of the other fae to conjur up a pain reliever for you. She creates natural poisons in her body, and I'm sure it'll help relieve the pain."
Lokni moved so that he was staring Aurion directly into his eyes. "When you fight, as a soldier, don't you direct the pain somewhere else? Into strengthening your movements, into fighting back? It is like anger. hot, and it hurts you. Cold, and it hurts them more."

" What is his gift really.. I still don't understand that.." Ruveila sat back down with a sigh, running her fingers over the swirling kitsune like creature swirling around her. " Do fae get familiars?" She asked curiously, as hers was bonded to her when she reached teen age.
Aurion took a deep breath and let it out slowly. " Sir, its easier to redirect pain that you understand and know its source more, this I do not." He answered Lokni honestly then looked over at Kalina. " Poisons... I'd hate to be her.." he said with a shudder.
