Xyre Zirka Xyre- 0%Background: Xyre doesn't remember much before he came to live with that woman. He never cared to call her by her name or by Mother. That woman, she always had that motherly look upon her face whilst he had always held a scowl. She treated him like he was 5! But he'd never really admit that he liked that feeling. They didn't speak often, only when they had to. But their silence was always comfortable. He always would wake up in her embrace. He knew he was loved. Personality: Xyre tends to walk with a scowl on his face. His wings and tail have a mind of their own and tend to act as his sixth sense. Though when he meets someone, usually he speaks a snide comment and lets things flow from there. He's not antisocial, just mean. Likes: Fire. Dragonfruit juice. Shiny things. Arguing. Sexual situations. And Irk! Akira too~ Dislikes: Overly happy people. Being pinned. Being an uke. Well that still applies but he'll be one anyway. Mac and Cheese. Other people's crud on his bed. Abstinence. Love interest: Possessions Irk! Ssshhh it's his little secret.

The Beginning
~~~
His green eyes blinked as he heard a car honk outside. His blonde hair moved closer to one shoulder as he turned his head to look out the window. The glare didn’t allow him to see who it was that would be taking him to this academy. ”I suppose it is time for me to go.”
Xyre slid off the chair slowly before his dragon-toed feet touched the grey carpet. He looked to the figure upon the couch, legs crossed casually. Things were awkward between them still. But he accepted that she truly cared.
”I suppose it is.” The woman, who came to know as Kait or sometimes Mother, set her book down beside her. She uncrossed her legs and knelt on the floor in front of him. Xyre blushed as she caressed his cheek a bit. He looked of to the side and pouted, he was no baby. Kait chucked, bringing back his attention. Her long fingers went into his hair, and pulled out, carefully undoing some knots.
”You’ll take care of yourself right? Don’t make me worry too much about you.”
Xyre nodded, his blush becoming a bit darker. She somehow understood how he wanted to be treated. Taking out a slightly damp washcloth, Kaitsu-Ralia carefully cleaned his horns, wings, and tail, muttering something about first impression. He scowled.
”Stop that…”
She chuckled again and stood up just as there was a knocking upon the door. There were quiet words exchanged, and even he couldn’t hear it. She turned back smiling and knelt down before him again. The man at the door silently came in and took Xyre’s bags, then left again. That’s the problem with starting later in the term.
The mother-figure in his life continued to fix his appearance. Normally he wouldn’t let her, but he wasn’t sure when he’d see this woman again. He idly began to dream off about his future. What would happen? Who would he meet? He realized that she had stopped and now was just smiling at him.
”Know that I love you. Got that kiddo?” She smiled even bigger, more carefree. He could tell in how she closed her eyes that she would be crying once he was gone. He reached out and tugged at her long braided hair. She opened her eyes, tears upon her eyelashes. He looked aside again and just stood. This was embarrassing and he didn’t want that man to see this. Kaitsu’s smile turned sad as she pulled him close and hugged him. She held on a bit longer before pulling away, just to place a kiss on his forehead. Xyre growled at that.
”Let me be a mother, will you?”
Shaking her head, the red-head stood and held out her hand which was taken without doubt. The two stepped outside. Xyre’s green eyes sparkled at the car. Man did that car look cool. He could feel the two moving and her hand squeezing his a bit more with every step, but his attention was focused on how cool it would be to ride in that thing.
Before he knew it, he was being buckled in. The chair was black leather; it made such a nice feeling against his wings. He looked up to see her still smiling and holding back tears. She leaned down a placed a kiss on his forehead again and messed with his hair a bit.
”Keep in touch Xyre.”
He nodded to her before she closed the door. The car took off and he couldn’t help but continue watching her a bit. She was waving in the air. He could definitely hear her words.
”Till whenever Xyre! Till whenever!”
Yes, whenever. Because good-bye seemed like never and later made it seem too eager. He couldn’t help but open the window and wave back. Soon she was out of sight and he turned back forward. ”Yeah…till whenever.” He kept the window open and leaned closer. The wind in his hair always was a good feeling. This car was only going to take him to the public transit place. This was more complicated than it should.
Kaitsu’s hand dropped once they were too far to be seen. Tears flowed lightly down her face as she went back inside her home. She closed the door and went up to the room where he stayed it for that short time. She sighed and lay upon his bed, holding his pillow closer. She’d still miss him.
The Arrival. [ astra ] [ Astra pov ]
Astra hummed to himself, clicking out a tune on the bench with his fingers. He bounced his feet, and brushed a lock of fire red hair out of his eyes. He was waiting for a far overdue student, but at least the student would be there. Poor guy.
Astra pondered for a while, flipping through the files stored in his feed. Aha! Xyre. ID number zero zero two.
Astra went back to tapping and started mumbling words under his breath, all the while waiting for the bus to come. Xyre Zirka Xyre Zirka. Altered Human. On his way to this...Academy. Green eyes gazed out the window with boredom. Wasn't it enough being moved around? Now he had to go somewhere. 'Education is important...blah...you're behind as it is....blah...' At least that woman sympathized with him. He did believe that she would trully miss him. She was sane enough to leave behind, right?
The blonde was snapped out of his touch as the bus gave a small lurch. It had stopped. Green eyes blinked, over already? he sighed boredly and grasped his luggage with red-scaled fingers and slowly got off the bus. He barely got his tail out of the door before it closed. "Nice much", he scowled. Then he looked before him and blinked again. At least he was being expected. [ astra ] Astra waved warmly at the altered human boy. "Hiyas!~" He hopped up, only to pace in a wobbly circle around the kid. "I assume you're Xyre? I'm Astra! And yoouu~ need to get to the Academy!" he finished, with a nod to punctuate his words.
Astra grinned, and them, with a laugh, he jabbed a clawed finger to the large looming building done up in grays a way behind him. "Just down this path and we're theeere!" Astra finishes, spreading his arms wide and spinning in a circle. Xyre Zirka Xyre's eyes visibly narrowed. 'Wonderful...I'm greeted by a male cheerleader. Next thing you know I'll end up meeting a crossdresser.' He sighed and nodded. No needed to speak much was fine for him, he didn't quite care to speak more than he had to, and he only had to when he was somehow insulting something or being sarcstic.
He peered up at the building in the distance. They had to walk? Shouldn't an adult have some other sort of travel device? Or better yet some sense. If that guy said they were walking just to be fit he'd scream. Xyre followed gloomily behind the spinning man. 'Too cheery....too hot...must not threaten or harm...'. Idly he proudly put his wings higher up, he didn't like his head to be too warm you know. [ astra ] Astra snickered, and kept the flashes of thoughts he saw and heard to himself. He hummed again to himself, and alternated between walking, skipping, and skipping backwards and spinning at the same time.
When he reached the gates, he pointed at Xyre. "Do you have a feed~?" Astra hmmed and wondered if their nurse was busy. Oh well! "If you don't, i'll have to open it for you. It'd be bad if you tried to fly in. ohyes. ickybad." Xyre Zirka Xyre slipped a hand into his pocket, fingering some random lint and a mini figurine he forgot was in this pair. He occasionally looked at the scenery, the building, and the dancing man. How was it that they weren't getting stared at? Perhaps it was the lack of people...or maybe that they were used to this man. He sighed. Xyre would dread the day that he would be used to this.
He stopped after the man at these odd gates. Gates. That was expected. 'Gates to hell?' Feed? "One. What? Two. No." He somewhat ignored the rest that the man said. He seemed to ramble off sometimes. So did the woman, but she wasn't this...'high on life'? Whatever. he sighed and let the man do whatever. Just like a good student, he would stall going in. He could afford to be even later than he was right? [ astra ] Astra siiiighed. "Oh bothers. This means we get to slice your neck open and put in your implant. Oh well! Aerin does it nicely." Astra sent a shockwave from his feed to the gates, which slid open with a pneumatic hiss. The wave continuedm unfelt by everyone but computers, to the main doors, which groaned as they slid open. "in we go, then!" Xyre Zirka 'Nicely put.' It was such a wonderful thought. Surgery and implants. Of course. Because going to school isn't enough, he now had to get some sort of implant in his neck. Watched much? What was this? Some school for delinquents? He smirked, at least he'll be entertained. That was guaranteed.
He was snapped out by the hiss of gates. Well, that made it sound more like he was being welcomed to hell. "Wonderful." Slowly he entered the gates, a scowl growing with each step. [ astra ] Astra rolled his eyes. "it's not like we're a prison or anything. I mean, suuuure once you come in you can't leave till you're done, but still!~"
Astra started singing to himself a bit, bits and pieces from a song in different tongues. He wandered into the other doors, and pointed to a bright door, just on the right side of the hallway after coming in. "there's the infirmary~" Xyre Zirka Xyre smiled sarcastically. "You're just so~o eager to be my friend aren't you?" He wrinkled his nose to emphasize this. His face one again became blank with a pinch of annoyment. None the less he followed the man. He didn't want to get lost, not on his damn first day.
He looked at the pointed finger to the door. You can really see that raised eyebrow. "You're so nice." He walked forward towards the the door and settled his luggage on the floor. He didn't realise he arms didn't like carrying those things. With a sigh and one hand safely in his pocket, he knocked upon the door. Yay for hell. [ astra ] Astra shrugged and grinned. "Hey!~ You're not exactly mister sunshine either, little wannabe." He made a face, and wandered off to his office.When Xyre knocked, a nurse in a tight plastic pink skirt and a white blouse (plus a nurse hat, of course!) answered. "Hi there! Come on in Xyre~" he cheerfully said, and beckoned him inside. In the infirmary, there were flowers and pink and yellows everywhere, and an assortment of chairs, ranging from metal fold ups to wide couches. "take a seat wherever you want, i'll be with you in juuust a sec, sweetie~" Xyre Zirka Xyre's eye visibly twitched the whole way to one of couches. He set his luggage ontop of a rather....odd chair. Green eyes dared not to stare at the walls. He growled to himself. 'I was right....I met a crossdresser. Damn.' He rested his head against the back coushion and listened to the other work. Being called sweetie annoyed him. Went from bad to worse...and going down. How effing wonderful. He looked at his dragon toes and fingers, bored. [ astra ] Aerin felt the waves of annoyance rolling off of Xyre, and winced. "Why so glum, dear? it can't be that bad here. You've not evne been to your room yet!" He said, but shrugged. He grabbed a cannister with a long tube, and a mask. He walked back over to the dragon boy, and slid the tube into the mask's slot.
"Here, put this on," he said, and handed him the mask. "this will just knock you out so I can give you a feed, and you'll wake up in your room."
With that, he pressed the aersol spray down...
[ end aerin ] Xyre Zirka Xyre gave an uneasy yet not caring 'Nnnn' as an answer to that. He wasn't exactly excited to be here. Why...we wasn't that sure now that he thought about it. He thought about that woman. Did he miss her? He wasn't sure. Part of his mind was listening to the nurse and did what he?...she?...whatever...It said.
Within a second he had a head. Was like his head was strapped to the front of roller coaster going way too fast and his body just followed. There was a soft 'phsh' as his horned head hit the couch.
Meeting the Roomie...Oh darnXyre Zirka A figure lay still upon a barely made up bed. Blonde hair blocked parts of a sleeping male face. The male was sprawled out all over the bed and was beginning to slip off. Red-scaled finger tips twitched every so often, his wings blanketing the majority of the boy. His mouth lay open, small fangs visible if you looked at him right. His dragon tail flicked at a fly on its own before settling back into his limp state off the bed. Luke Haneko Luke entered the room, the black cat plushie floating beside his head."I told you that would be cool, and you didn't belive me."He chuckled and pushed the door, sending it slamming shut.His ears layed back as he looked at the door, but shruged, not noticing the other boy in the room.The plush, seemingly running out of life, fell to the bed with a soft plop and Luke sat down beside it, setting a drink can aside as he yawned. Xyre Zirka Xyre's tail flicked out rapidly, his wings fluttered just as fast. They stopped their frantic movement when the bodoy they were attached to groan and slowly got up onto all fours. Man, what was that noise? Loud much. The figure groaned agained and shook his head. He had a headache. Finally green eyes snapped open and a hand went to his neck. Everything...seemed...okay. He huffed. That was a pain really. He looked for the source of his disturbance and eyes landed heavily on the other occupant of the room. His roomie. Crud. Luke Haneko Luke had opened the can and was about to take a drink when he noticed movement on the other side of the room, he lowered the can and pulled his legs onto the bed, sitting crosslegged as he looked at the other boy.His roomie he assumed.He looked the boy over and snorted, not very impressed by the boys appearance."Who are you?" Xyre Zirka Xyre sized up the other male. A cat. He blinked and snorted, the slightest of smirks upon his face. That woman had a few cats, to boot, one of them was white. Well, he shrugged, better at least know this guy. He'd probably have to at least tolerate them. His tail twitched and laid itself on his shoulder. It didn't like the other. He sat down and pulled one leg up to his chest, the other crossing under it. "Xyre Zirka. And you?" Luke Haneko Luke glanced down at the cat, chuckling under his breath at some silent joke.He looked back at the dragon boy, tapping the drink can idly as he watched the boy, ears perked forward."Im Luke Haneko.." Xyre Zirka Xyre's emerald orbs shifted down towards the plush black cat. He didn't dare ask what was the deal with having a doll. He didn't quite care. His wings fluttered a bit. What was there to say. It seems that neither of them were conversationalists. Well, he came here, got surgery, and now met his roomie. What else did one need to do on their first day of school? A slight grumbling in his stomach reminded him. Eat. That would be good. He wasn't the type to ask about things like that. He looked towards the door, well there was his stuff. He silently got up and got his stuff, settling it on his bed. Xyre glanced at the other before turning his back and began to unpack his things, hoping that woman had put in some snacks for him. Luke Haneko Luke quirked a brow, one ear twitching as the sound of the other boy's stomach growling.He watched as Xyre stood and retrieved his bags and begining to unpack them.He took a drink from the can and watched the cat plush as it floated across the gap between the 2 beds, floating around in circles over the dragon boy's head. Xyre Zirka Xyre had laid out all of his stuff and was glad to find many minibags of chips. All of those being in flavors he liked. She even put in some dragonfruit juice. Though, he slightly slowed as he felt something amiss. His wings were fluttering about wildly and his tail was trying to swat at something above him. He sighed. A school full of oddballs like him. How nice. He took up one of the juice packets and put the little straw in the hole and drank his beloved liquid. Then, he finally looked up. That damn plush. He suspected it would be the source of many annoying times. "What are you trying to achieve with this?" Luke Haneko A half smile slip onto Luke's face at the question."Amusement."The plush let out a low hiss at the dragon boy before floating back torwards Luke's bed, falling halfway there only to walk the rest of the way, it's tail lashing from side to side. Xyre Zirka Xyre raised his eyebrow at the plush. He blinked. That thing...better not be really alive. And with claws. he'd prefer to not come to class everyday with scratches in some place or another. He cringed at what the other might end up doing to him. Thank gods for his tail. A mind for itself it had. He turned back to his items and picked up the clothes. Spotting a drawer on his side he began to put his clothing away. By now his juice had gone away and he was playing with the packaging. Standing, Xyre looked at the other boy. Hm...wonder if the other liked fire or not... Luke Haneko The cat plush flaoted up and plopped onto Luke's bed, falling over onto it's side as it's controlled broke contact with it.Luke had moved himself so he sat at the top of his bed and leaned back against the wall, turning the drink can around in his hands in a bored way.He still wasn't sure if he liked this dragon boy, Xyre, though was sure the boy didn't really like the cat plush, which would be good for a bit of fun.With his ears perked forward, and the tip of his tail twitching, he watched the other boy put away his things then stand.He quirked a brow, wondering what the boy was about to do. Xyre Zirka Xyre finished putting away his clothes and looked back at his lighter roomie. He smirked a bit more. Time to set some boundaries. Stepping onto his bed he looked down at the plush and toed it with his dragon-like claws. He remembered the gashes they made whenever he kicked some one. He prodded it more. Soon he was staring at the dark plush, his eyes getting darker and darker. If what that woman said was true, the more he stared the more likely it would start to burn. For now, he'd only let it smoke. Luke Haneko Luke's eyes narrowed as he watched the dragon boy, though he made no attempt to move the plushie.His ears layed back and tail puffed out slighly adn a small growl rumbled in his chest. Xyre Zirka Xyre sighed and closed his eyes. With a flick of his toes he flipped the plush off his bed. "If I find that thing in my bed at anytime...I'll burn it." His emerald eyes turned to an old rag on his table top. His eyes narrowed, pupils dilating a bit. Those orbs grew darker and within a few seconds time, the edge began to smoke. The smoking grew until it started to combust. He pointedly turned back to the silver canine, a hand at his waist. "Got that? It's the only problem I got with you." Luke Haneko Luke's gaze shifted to the cat as he made it roll in the floor for a few moments before the smoking stopped.It then made it's way back to Luke's bed, floated up and fopped down atop it.With a half grin he looked back to the dragon boy, heach cocked to the side."Yeah, alright." Xyre Zirka Xyre nodded pointedly and hopped off his bed. He went to the burning rag and wrapped his hand around the flame, nicely extinguishing it. He looked at the palm of his hand, a slight burn. His hands were becoming soft. They normally could handle it. He shrugged and went to the entrance of their room. He opened the door before turning back to his roomie. Nah. He'd rather explore on his own. With that he left the room in search of either food or the nurse's office, which ever happened first.
[end Xyre] Luke Hankeo A smirk came onto Luke's face as the dragon boy left the room."Heheh, this should be interesting, eh?"He glanced over at the cat plush, to replied by cocking it's head to the side and mewing.Luke leaned back against the wall, taking a drink from the coke can as he looked back at the door.
As I walk through the hallA mental journal/notation I looked down at my hand for the fifth time since I exited that room. Gods, it was burned. That annoyed me to no end. I used to be able to quench a flame with my hand no problem. It's softened up considerably. Though really, I have to keep working on it. I can't allow it to stay like this. And if this hand is soft the other one probably is. I should probably go to the nurse. Get some supplies from...IT. I have to keep training my hands. Should probably find some concrete that's in the sun. Can't start on fires. Basics...basics. I think it's starting to blister. Crap.
Sekhmet and XyreEarthly Sekhmet Sekhmet had begun walking slowly back to her dorm room after class, not seemingly in any hurry at all. And really, she wasn't. She was hoping to run into another student alone. She wanted to get to know the students, but they often traveled in packs and were hard to start a conversation with that way, even moreso with Sekhmet's lacking conversational skills with mortals. If I do not find one soon, she thought to herself, I will have to just force myself on one of their large groups. Or perhaps the loners frequent places where I do not go.Xyre Zirka Slitted emeralds stared at pinkening flesh, still caught in thought. His flailing tail quickly, and literally, slapped him back into reality. His hand fell back into place upon a jutted out hip. Some one else? Well, obviously. Few other things made his tail flail about.
He turned slowly, the cause of his tail's anxiety nearing. A female? He blinked. He would admit that he'd rarely been around the so-called fairer kind. The longest he'd spent around one was actually when he was living with that woman. He slowly licked his lips. He was never one to speak first. Earthly Sekhmet As Sekhmet was walking along, thinking about making herself more social and therefore more mortal, she was slightly surprised to see a dragon boy in her path. Her facial features did not show it however, which was lucky for her because the boy turned around and stared at her, yet said nothing. His stare and the way he remained stationary told Sekhmet that he might not be against talking to her. So instead of walking past him, she stopped a few feet from him. "Hello," she said simply, her tail swishing slowly behind her. "What is your name? I have not seen you before." Xyre Zirka Friendly. Seemingly sane enough. Doesn't have a cat plush. Most likely wouldn't be some he'd have to worry...too...much about. He blinked and turned fully towards her, a hand still on his hip. His palm pulsed against the fabric. It was injured and shouldn't be treated this way! His tail flailed again, before settling itself upon his shoulder.
Xyre eyed her features slowly before speaking. "Xyre Zirka. New here. You?" His words to people were usually short, to the point. Rambling wasn't his style. Well...unless...that didn't matter. Earthly Sekhmet Sekhmet stared at him, unblinking. He seemed a bit twitchy, or his tail did at least. She looked him over, keeping half an eye on that tail of his at all times. Was he untrusting of her? She didn't know if that would be a good or a bad thing. But she looked back to his face once his tail had settled itself. She then finally blinked, waiting for him to say something back. When he did he didn't use many words, unlike most of the mortals she'd come across. "I am Sekhmet. I suppose one could say that I am new here. You are only the second student I have met." Her tail stopped its steady movement behind her and relaxed. Perhaps being antisocial wasn't seen as being odd in all beings. "Have you talked to many others since you arrived?" she asked, slightly slowly and without changing tone. Xyre Zirka Xyre blinked again. His head turned towards the window. The day was still pretty bright. He didn't really like it when things were bright. He blinked again and turned back to the female. His tail fell off his shoulder, and wrapped around his waist. It's tip pointed towards the darker as if it was a snake watching it's prey.
He processed her words before speaking once more. "It's the same here. I've only spoken to my room mate before this." His hand removed itself from underneath the scaled flesh. But resumed a spot upon the tail, a thumb stroking it lightly. It was basically a living thing and needed comfort. At least that's what he convinced himself of most of the time. Earthly Sekhmet "I see," Sekhmet said, "I have only met a girl in the hallway. I do not yet have a roommate." She watched Xyre with much interest, especially his tail. It puzzled her, as it seemed restless while the rest of the boy was calm. Her own tail curled slightly as she studied it. She was going to wait for him to say something, but by his lack of words she figured that she would have to be the one to keep the conversation going. "Do you like your roommate?" she asked, her ears moving slightly. "I fear that I may get annoyed with mine if I get one. I am new to this whole mortal thing, and I do not understand all of the ways of the different species here." Xyre Zirka His palm was still pulsing. It wanted medical treatment! But this stubborn uncaring male just-just-ugh!!! So instead it just pulsed. Which unfortunately distracted Xyre for some bit. She was without a roomate? That was rather lucky. "His name is Luke. He has puppet which is actually a cat plush. We don't really care much for the other at the moment." Did he always sound like a robot? The blonde didn't think so, he could definately blame his hand.
his attention was brought back to her. "Mortal thing?" What was she? Some god incarnate or was she not forced to be put out with 'normal' ones before coming here? If it was the latter she was lucky. His wings flapped a bit, in agreement with the female. His tail tip twitched a bit as if almost offended. Xyre mentally sighed, he couldn't even agree with himself. How annoying. Earthly Sekhmet Sekhmet raised her eyebrow at the boy's comments about his roommate, but decided not to push the issue further as some of his body parts seemed as if the boy did not control them, and she didn't want anything to try to attack her. "Yes. I had wanted to know what mortal life was like, so I chose to come here and live it for awhile. I have generally been forgotten amongst the humans, who once worshipped me extensively, so I do not have much to do like I used to. I can only take so much of the other higher beings," she said her eyebrow lowering and her face shifting into an almost annoyed face. "I am hoping to learn a lot about the different mortal races during my stay here. I had wanted to keep my identity secret, but I realized that it would not be possible. I am just trying my best to act as mortals do. It at times proves to be difficult, though at times is fairly simple." Xyre Zirka Xyre sighed, and nodded his agreement. Mortals. Or more so, normal mortals. Ones who didn't have wings, tails, or any sort of power. He snorted, wings and tail flailing in agreement. They were all just so...annoying with their narrow mindedness. It was another reason why he was sent here right? His eyes narrowed and darkened. Being outcast was not a good experience.
But this female seemed to understand all that went around her. He snorted again and moved closer to the window. Slowly he leaned against the window, letting his tail and wings revel in the heat of the sun. He crossed his arms, before looking back towards the woman. "You've noticed how everyone is different right? From what I can tell, the ones in this academy are the most different."
His eyes narrowed, and turned straight ahead. They started growing dark. "Those who are different are tossed aside. Left alone for someone else to deal with." Emerald orbs were now nearing black. There was a load pop and the wall before him was set ablaze. "That pisses me off. And now I have to deal with this crap too." Earthly Sekhmet Sekhmet again took the time to observe Xyre, by now quite interested in how the boy worked. He was a lot different than many of the other students, who generally seemed more comfortable and in control of their own bodies. She wondered if he would gain more control if he were more comfortable with his differences? But she could not say for sure, as she had never dealt extensively with altered humans. "Everyone at the Academy is quite different from the mortals I have dealt with in the past, yes," she finally replied, "But I have not dealt so directly with mortals in many years, things were bound to have changed. I came here because it was the most interesting place I could find to try out mortal life. Most other places are quite boring, full of predictable people. At least here things are interesting, if perhaps not always enjoyable." Xyre Zirka "Ah." With a blink, Xyre's eyes returned back to normal. Interesting? That was for sure. Though, everything was still...so...different. Here he was very normal. Because it's accepted, even encouraged, to be different. The outside world was cruel to him. He was quite sure, that if he wasn't alienated when he was back among the regular humans, he'd be different. Very different.
He sighed and watched as the wall's fire burned itself out. This place was made for ones like him wasn't it? But this place would be home, and more so, it would be him and them. He'd belong. Another sigh. He'd been thinking too much lately. Damn this place. His tail moved up and gently caressed his cheek, much like that woman had.
"Interesting yes...I guess that's true." His mind flashed back to his odd room mate. "Though I still don't like this." Earthly Sekhmet Sekhmet would have liked a review of the boy's past, which would be easy if she were not in her current state. It was one of those things that, although it was not all that important, annoyed her that she could no longer do. Perhaps when she returned home she would find out, if she could not do so before. "It is possible that things will get better," she said, still especially intrigued by Xyre's tail. She watched it as it seemed to be trying to comfort him. Xyre Zirka This woman was very calm. But she held that regal stature. At this time he sort of...missed...that woman. He reached up a hand to pet his tail, letting it know that he was alright now. He smiled slightly, fangs peering over his bottoms lips. His wings and tail were like a different part of him, one that always protected him. From himself or the world around him. As they were annoying they were also helpful. In the end he knew he needed them more than anything.
He turned his gaze onto the woman. "I feel that way as well. This place...isn't like the outside world." His gaze softened this place sort of reminded him of the time that he was with that woman. What ones could supposedly say his...'mother'. At least his foster mother. "It's more accepting of those who are different from average humans. A sort of haven." Earthly Sekhmet "Yes," Sekhmet replied, "And a good place for learning, too." She nodded once, slowly. She thought that maybe a change of subject might do Xyre some good. "What are you studying here?" she asked, "Which classes are your favorites? I am still trying to decide which classes to take next." And that was the truth. Sekhmet wasn't sure exactly what classes to take next, though she definitely enjoyed the more creative ones. Mere facts generally bored her, as it took her little effort to retain the information. Creative endeavors took more brain power and were more interesting. Perhaps this boy would know of good classes to take that she would enjoy, or perhaps he would know of fact-based learning that wasn't quite as boring. Xyre Zirka Xyre blinked at the simple question. Was this how normal students talked to each other in the beginning of the year? He supposed that was it. He wasn' all too sure. "Uh. Basic math, English, Physical Science, Art, and Drama." Why did he choose those electives anyway? Well actually now he remembered. The other ones really weren't all that appealing to him. He wasn't good with speaking or singing and he just hated facts and history. Dates weren't his forte. Not in the least.
"Uh, I suppose Drama is the best. I can be more involved and expressive with everyone without having to speak." He rarely spoke in fact. Not unless he had no choice. When it was one on one or when he was called one were times when he was forced. He stared at the burnt wall before him. The school could fix that easily he bet. He pointd to the burn "Don't tell anyone I did that." Earthly Sekhmet "Drama does sound rather appealing," Sekhmet said, "Perhaps I will try it." She had to agree that speaking was not all that thrilling. She didn't particularly dislike it, but she knew that she spoke differently than the other students despite attempts not to, and it only amplified the fact that she was perhaps more different than they were, although less concerned about the fact. She then studied the burn that Xyre was pointing at. "I will not. I do not think that they will be too concerned about it, from what I have seen of this place it is not that strange of an occurance." Xyre Zirka Xyre grunted a 'thanks' and crossed his arms. His had pulsed again. Dammit it didn't want to be ignored anymore! He sighed again. Mind, body, and soul were all off in their own worlds. Such annoying thing it was really.
He the sun's warmth was welcoming upon his wings. He wasn't sure what else there was to say. He wasn't much of a talker at all. his tail shifted back into a position around his waist. It was bored now. Well at least that would keep it calm. Unless something else happened. Here he would never know if something did. Earthly Sekhmet "If you would like to go, that is fine," Sekhmet said. She could tell that Xyre wasn't much of a talker, she had been able to before he had gone right out and told her so. And she could no longer think of anything else to say. Even if this was the end of their conversation, he was certainly an interesting student and she would be wondering about him for quite a long time. Xyre Zirka Xyre's eye twitched in annoyance as he felt his hand pulse in wanting to take up on the female's offer. Honestly, so did he. He supposed that he should take care of it. If he was ever to put those callouses back on his hands. He pushed himself off the wall. "I guess I'll take you up on that. I suppose I'll see you whenever then." He mentally flinched, he got that from the woman didn't he? He waved to her as he passed her by, now detemined to find the nurse's office and shut his hand the hell up.
[End Xyre] Earthly Sekhmet Sekhmet watched Xyre as he left, not really saying anything but giving a sort of nod as the boy waved. He was interesting, that was for sure. She did hope she would see him around. Once he was out of sight she turned around and continued the journey back to her dorm. I. Am. Not. Lost.A Solo RP '-this is a mental string of profanity that goes on for about 2 minutes-Okay you goddamn hand I'm going to the damn nurses office so quit it!' Xyre Zirka stopped in the middle of the hall and glared at his hand. He wished it to at the very least go super numb so that it would stop it's pulsing and peeling. He was not supposed to have pink skin.
He growled and continued walking, tip-taps sounding throughout the hall. The hand was hot, and it annoyed him. Especially since he shouldn't be getting burns.
'I'm -bleeping- infused with a -bleeping- dragon. Dragons do not get burned! Screw the fact that I was originally human! I had harder skin than that! That -bleeping- woman got me all softened. Her stupid goddamn girly lotions and soap! Gah I wasn't designed for that crap!'
Emerald eyes darted back and forth looking for that familiar door. Damn. Didn't he want to avoid that place at all costs? He did. He almost turned around right there but a hot pulsing stopped him.
'Damn you hand.' It was really all he needed before he turned back in search of the horrid nurse's office.
I So Didn't Want To Come Back HereXyre Zirka Xyre twitched as he stared at the door. The all too familiar door that he'd only been at once before. To say the least he didn't enjoy that trip either. The blonde lifted his hand up to his face, green glaring into pink. His hand was now pink. He growled, sensing the urge to start peeling off skin already. Finding this place was far too annoying.
His hand pulsed, as if trying to get him to hurry up. He didn't want to, he refused to, damnit if his had would stop he could! He growled, a sneer on his face. He put the protesting hand back down to his side, using the uninjured hand, he knocked solidly on the door. He just had to get this over with. [ astra ] Aerin let the doors slide gently open with his feed. He called out brightly to the stranger, "come in~"
He stayed at his desk, flipping through files on hand and comparing them to the stock of things they had around the infirmary.
The floral patterned room buzzed a gentle feeling, and the nurse waited for the person at the door to step into his little corner of cheer. Xyre Zirka Xyre idly obeyed the answer. He stared down at his shoes the whole time. If memory served him right, one look up and he'd be twitching. Gah! He slowly approached the figure, still avoiding to look up. His right hand slid gently into his pocket, easily avoiding the floral-room of doom.
His eyes trailed up, looking for something to look at other than his shoes. At least for now. Ha! Those files! Those would be interesting enough to stare at. He held out his left hand. "I put out a flame." He didn't want to explain more. He was annoyed enough by just having to come here. He didn't want to add explaining this added onto his irritation. He was a dragon after all. [ astra ] Luckily for Aerin, he needed no more explanation from the one given. Without a moment to spare, he sprung up and zoomed to a nearby cabinet.
"Oh, you poor thing. Take a seat, and I'll be right there." He fished out a bottle of deep violet liquid, and a cloth to apply it with. With a few light taps of his boots, he was by Xyre's side.
"Here hon, lemme see that hand. Promise I'll be gentle." He dribbled some of the liquid on his cloth, staining it a shade of purple that rapidly changed to bright orange, fizzling like carbonated soda.
He grinned smally. "Looks a lot worse than it feels, I promise." Xyre Zirka Xyre slowly made his way to a couch, watching the nurse. He plopped down onto the end seat, propping his head up on the couch arm. His eye visibly twitch as he spotted the fizzing. Fizzing? Were things supposed to be fizzing? And why did if change color? Damn you hand!
He held the offending appendage out, glaring at it thoroughly. Tch. That woman would tell him that it was all his fault but hell would sooner be made up of cotton candy before he admitted it. The younger grunted a response. He didn't want anything more than to get out of here. [ astra ] Aerin gingerly took it and dabbed it on. The fizzing of the liquid intensified as it was applied, but it simply felt cool and soothing rather than full of burning. He wrapped it around Xyre's hand, and stood.
"There. You can go now, dear. Just keep that on for a few moments and it should be healed up for the most part." Aerin ruffled his hair. "Try not to wound yourself again, hon. Take care!" He sent through his feed the command for his door to open, and went back over to his desk. Now, to pull a few strings and find out what happened...
[ end Aerin pov ] Xyre Zirka It felt nice. That cool feeling. It was still nasty. Nasty nasty nasty. Emerald eyes turned away as the other wrapped his hand. Mentally, he glowered at his now cared-for hand for putting him there. Slowly the male stood, nodding absent mindedly at the nurse. He immediately regretted not thinking when he felt a hand in his hair. For the love of all things burning! No, don't rip off the hand the heals you. He didn't like being called Hon either. Blah he wasn't somebody's child to coddle all the time! He would so be roaring into his pillow. If Luke wasn't there that is. He moved to the door, fully glaring at anything. He paused a bit before stepping out. Softly, and gruffly, he said a short thanks before exiting. Lords that was annoying.
Time for SleepA Solo RP Xyre stared down the hall. His mind seemed to have just forgotten how he got there. He closed his eyes slowing, curling his hand into a tight fist. He winced. He probably shouldn't do that with just that hand. Not yet at least. He growled at his hand, it was all it's fault in the first place. Should've just stayed conditioned to flames. He took a few slow steps forward, accepting this problem. As much as he didn't want to.
He got lost in thought. That just wasn't normal for him. His wings settled slowly upon his shoulder, his tail curled around his waist as if it was a cat. He turned toward a window, the outside world was gleaming. It seemed warm outside. He can take a hint, at least from his appendages. Now...how to get out there. Shouldn't a door just appear to him? He'd like that. He'd like that alot. Or...better yet...he could break it...or melt it.
He looked around the corridor for any signs. He shouldn't. He just got back from the nurse. He did not want to go back. The weight upon him was growing more and more. They were becoming heavy since they just to now become actual limbs of his. He sighed.
He'd rather prefer to be outside. Where the air was fresh and would be his air conditioning. There was probably a nice spot too. On a giant warmed rock. Yes that would be nice. Damn he was getting sleepy. Too sleepy. Ah eff it. He mumbled to himself and just went closer to the window. He put his back to the window, letting his tail and wings absorb most of the heat. He'll just allow it all to float now. His thoughts everything. I hope people were intelligent enough to not disturb a sleeping dragon.
Do you Dare Disturb a Sleeping Dragon?Part 1 Xyre Zirka The rays of light began to dim more and more as the sun set. Beneath the window slept a student, one who rather cutely had his tail wrapped around him. If you were close enough you could hear him slightly snoring, though it would be foolish to get that close. For the little blonde was partially a dragon and just as said in myths, it's best not to wake a sleeping dragon. But in a school like this...well...who knows? ]Evan[ Dazed, Akira walked. Dazed as if his mind was slowly retreating into a place of safety and warmth - For there was none to be found in this place, all save for the warmth of that one dragon-man.
He hated the dragon-man, but he loved him still. And he didn't know why. It felt like there were worms in his brain, eating away at the reasoning, the logic. Leaving him with nothing more than emotions, that were even still, beginning to deteriorate.
How long would it be until he was just a shell? A cold blooded, crazy, shell?
He barely noticed the sleeping dragon-boy. Wolfish ears twitching, crimson eyes running over the small frame.
He poked the sleeping dragon. Daring it to wake.Xyre Zirka An orange tail quickly raised itself, posing like a cobra about to strike. That was all it took for it to wake it's partner upon the boy's back. Wings quickly awoke as well and flapped about mercilessly. A low growl emitted from the blonde before an unbandaged hand shot out to grab his own tail and sink his teeth into it.
Emerald eyes were dark and slitted as they shifted to the other male in front of him. his pulled away from his tail slowly, licking away the few bits of blood he created. This was the cause of his disturbance. Xyre's eyebrows knitted in anger, a snarl forming upon him.
He stared firmly at the male, his eye growing darker by the second. If there ever was a time he was glad for clothing it was this time. Clothing was flamable. He enjoyed proving that they were. Pyrotelekinesis...perhaps soon enough he'd be able to shoot flames out of his mouth. ]Evan[ The older and taller boy crouched down infront of the younger, much shorter child. Curiousity had gotten the better of him and now it was provoked further.
Ears twitching, his tail doing so as well. He extended his wings to their full span.
"You were snoring... It hurt my ears... I'm Akira." He said, in what was once a friendly and harmless voice. Now it seemed darkened, unsure of itself... possibly dangerous?Guiver Monkey As Guiver strolled around the corner where two of the school's walls met and slowed his pace to watch the scene ahead. Two people he did not recognize. His mind processed the thought of them being students of the academy like himself.
As he stopped to watched the two from his safe distance, the fur on his tail bristled and the hairs on the back of his neck rose. There was some think tension in the air. He sure didn't want to get into a mess this early in the school year.
He contemplated on the idea of calling out to them, but the thought was quickly brushed away by the closer inspection of the boy beneath the window and of the taller boy. Xyre Zirka So close...so close. Soon, it would burst. Combust. Smolder. One should never play with a sleepy dragon. Especially one that was still recovering from an injury. The other male, the blue-haired one, should burst into flames soon.
A flash of orange flailing near him, his dark gazed shifted to the disturbing object. Xyre's tail then burst into flames, the flames quickly moving up to the tip. He growled. That was a waste. Goddamned tail. He didn't worry about that part of himself getting burned. There was a reason he had scales. But it did succeed in lifting his mood a bit. The flame dancing upon his tail was warm and comforting, almost like sleep. Except his was awake. Damn being a natural blonde.
He gazed at the bit of green in the hallway. Another one? How many were there in this school. He slowly rose into a sitting position, crossing his legs, brining his tail in front of him letting the flame keep him warm. His gazed, it's regular bright emerald, stayed upon the other green object in the vacinity. He blinked at it. And blinked once more.
Slowly he turned back to the wolf-boy. Wings as well. His own scaled pair flapping excitedly. Wings! It wasn't alone. Oh joy to them! Xyre ignored his counter(body)part. He sighed, looking down at the flame, his bandaged hand running down his scales. He raised said hand and motioned the other male over with a finger.
"Might as well make this a pow wow of some sorts." He motioned for the other, Akira, to sit with him. Luckily, after his dragon rage passed, he was rather somber. The haze of sleep was just beginning to clear up. "Xyre. Xyre Zirka. Resident pyro-telekinectic dragon-boy." ]Evan[ Akira moved almost eerily - slow movements as he sat kneeling in front of the younger boy. Choosing that position over sitting next to him, the voices told him to stay there. He thought for a moment, after Xyre gave his name, and motioned for him to sit.
He found it difficult to stay focused on the two children, so instead, focused on Xyre. However, his wings flapped, tail twitching, as if motioning for the green haired boy to come closer. Were they now prey to him? His mind struggled to keep sanity and insanity at bay.
"I am, the resident... Death-god bonded-boy, of sorts. You seem younger than I am, are you new here?"
Guiver Monkey The other boys movements seemed almost welcoming now to Guiver. The twitching of their tails either meant they were happy or agitated at something. Well, better go and meet the neighbors. He moved cautiously towards them.
He now stood no more than an arm's length from them and chose a spot where he could watch both of the students. From a closer view, Guiver could finally make out the details.
Wings. Interesting. "I hope y'all don't mind me joining. My name's Guiver." Xyre Zirka Xyre's gaze turned to the green monkey as a delicate eyebrow was raised. "I summoned you over here...so why would I?" He nodded, locking the othere's name and face into his memory. He turned back to his tail, warm. It was sweet warmth, but it would never be as sweet as the warmth of that woman. He huffed at the flame in agitation for himself.
He looked back up at the now kneeling male. His tail was happily napping in his lap, not really minding the flame upon its tip. "New? I suppose I am. There haven't been many that I have met." At this point he would've now met 6 others. The flame was beginning to die down. He could always reignite it.
His wings continued to flap as if trying to comunicate to the other wings. Most likely complaining about the altered human they were attached to. Xyre easily ignored his flailing parts, it was very common for them to act upon their own needs. As stupid as they were.
His flame was now practically nothing. He looked at his hands. One bandaged, one not. He didn't want to go back to that nurse. Though it was hard to fight the urge to just snuff it out with his hand. He looked back to the other males then bent back, looking through the window as best he could. "Do normal boys do this? Sit in little groups and talk?"
He returned to a normal posture and slapped himself twice. One was for saying something weak. The other for even having that slight desire to be normal. Normality was stupid. That's what she said. Besides, normal people were only exciting when they started to combust. Smirk.
]Evan[ "Not a little boy," It was an automatic response, hearing 'boy' in any sentense made Akira think they said 'little', too. Again his tail, ears, and wings twitched, as if communicating with the other boys's appendages.
"It's nice meeting you, Guiver and Xyre." He said, as if something flicked the back of his head, and reminded him of his manners.
Guiver Monkey Guiver sat down, his wings fluttering with anticipation. "I'm not sure if normal boys do this kind of stuff, none of the ones back home would really even talk to me."
He brought his knees to his chin, his tail curling over his feet. "It's nice to meet you guys too. The only other person I've meet is Hiro." Xyre Zirka The dragon nodded. He did have manners, he just didn't show them often. It was hard to when someone was throwing crap at you. His tail lifted itself out of his lap and then settled upon his head and decided to start it's own 'Appendage Only' conversation.
He raised an eyebrow at the bluenette. His gaze drifted down. He was suddenly reminded of his short-time home. Was it perhaps that he was, for once, around others that were more like him? He never felt this at ease before. Isn't that feeling supposed to reserved for those you cared about? He didn't know! This place was just too...confusing. "You’ll take care of yourself right? Don’t make me worry too much about you." "Know that I love you. Got that kiddo?" "Let me be a mother, will you?" "Keep in touch Xyre." "Till whenever Xyre! Till whenever!"A smiling face. A warm embrace. He got the things he wanted last minute and then was ripped away from them. He didn't want to go home. He didn't want to go home. He just wanted...
"Mother..." Distantly his mind took note that his wings stopped talking and was wrapping themselves around him. Tears? "It's okay, right?...To cry when you miss something that was good to you?" Goddamnit. ]Evan[ Akira glanced up at Xyre, ears twitching as he watched the smaller child seem to think out loud. Crimson eyes followed his expression and he bit his lip in silent contemplation.
Was the boy like he was? Did he have a past that was full of loneliness?
"I cry when I miss something that was good to me. I don't see how it's a bad thing... I think it's part of human genetics."
There was something about Xyre, it made Akira want to look out for him. He reminded him of Luke to some extent, but to others, he was innocent like Hiro.
Hiro?
He turned his head to Guiver, a slight smile on his face.
"You know Hiro? He's my room-mate."Xyre Zirka A blonde head snapped up. Eyes a bit wide. He hated how he always talked out loud when things weren't stable within him. But something, something, when all there was was loudness and pure white or even times pure darkness, something to just make it all white noise. Simplistic...white noise.
Human...genetics? Right...right that must be it. Expressing feelings makes you human. That...that made sense to him. Of all the dragon-like things he did receive, it was a dragon heart. How different he could be if he had one that pulsed so strongly as one of those would. "Yeah...genetics..." Xyre stayed quiet, as the bat-winged male spoke the their other one among their little pow-wow. Meeting others...did he really crave it? Guiver Monkey Guiver sat there in silence, listening to the conversation. He nodded to Akira's response on how he thought it was human genetics. His tail twitched back and forth, telling him to join in the conversation, but he didn't know what to talk about.
"So you must be Akira then," said Guiver, licking his dry lips. "It's good to finally meet you." He smiled back. He grabbed his tail to halt it's movement. It was making him feel uncomfortable.
He then though about how to reply to Xyre's question. "I'm not sure if it is human genes that make us cry. Cause...don't all animals, even humans, cry when something or someone, that was good to them, goes away?" He paused to ponder about what he'd just said. "Well...maybe I'm thinking to much into it." He let go of his tail and it returned to it's former twitching. Kaitsu-Ralia The dragon boy nodded, looking up again. He probably looked like a fool by now. He roughly rubbed away the tears, willing himself to think of things less depressing. Like burning little kids pants. That brought a malicious smirk to his face. Starving for companionship probably wasn't as much bull as he thought it was but hell if he accepted those human ones. This crowd was better.
His tail, now no longer worry about it's human parts, flailed wildly in the direction of it's green furry companion. Slowly, more and more, it pulled it's body closer to the green monkey just so he could properly have a chat with another of it's kind. Xyre glared down at it as he realized he was pretty much touching knees with the male. ]Evan[ Akira's ears twitched, crimson eyes watching the pair. A few months ago he would've been a happy bouncey child that didn't understand many things. He missed those days.
He gave a sigh and started standing up, to stretch his legs and let his wings stretch out without worrying about hitting the other youngers boys.
"Maybe it's genetics in general. Animal, human. Since we're a mix of both, we can't be sure which it is... Right?" He mumbled, half to himself. He flinched, shadows stalking the halls. Resltess shadows calling out for help. He felt the room grow cold as he tried desperately to ignore them. He hoped the others wouldn't notice. He didn't need to scare away new friends with that blasted god.Guiver Monkey Almost oblivious to the little things going on around him was how Guiver acted. He stiffled a yawn, covering his mouth with his hand. His tail twitching along side the dragon's.
He looked over to Xyre and realized he was glaring in his direction. "Did I do something wrong? I can move if you want." He scooted back a little and this gave him the chance to stretch out his bent up legs and wings.
"I wonder...what it would be like if we were not the way we are." His brown eyes now staring at the ceiling. Kaitsu-Ralia Emerald eyes flickered between the standing male and the one that scooted away. It was almost odd, how they were so peaceful. At least these guys wouldn't use them...or at least, he prayed they wouldn't use him. He wasn't supposed to be contained. He did not get contained.
HIs dragon heart flared at the thought, his tail catching fire again. The limb flailed and twitsted a bit surprised at the sudden heat added to it. He smirked at the annoying thing, he liked that burning feeling upon his scales. Looking at his bandaged hand, he wished that scales would start growing there too. It would make putting out his flames out easier.
He stayed sitting, stretching one leg out and putting one over the other, his knee bent high. (Like in that Beyonce video that woman was watching). But gods you couldn't get him out in shorts with his pasty legs. "If we weren't the way we are...we'd be normal. We'd be..." He snorted, closing his eyes still smirking. "We'd be unique...Just like everyone else. Stupid humans have no idea what unique goddamn is."
His wings flapped, he felt them shiver. His wings rarely shivered. And when they did...it meant something was up. He wasn't one to say yes or no to whether he believed that there were spirits unknown, but there were times where the dragon boy wasn't so sure. His wings curled up around his shoulders, shivering more. His pupils slipped into their slitted form. His flaming tail stood up like a cobra about to strike. They were his sixth sense, and his sixth sense told him something was going to happen.
His smirk disappeared as he glanced between his two companions. Face stern, the blonde gazed around. He was suspicious of everything. What had changed? What could make his sixth sense be like this. He said nothing. Anything could provoke whatever it was. That was dangerous. Xyre then stood, stuffing his clenched hands into his pockets.
At least he knew he couldn't ever be bored here. ]Evan[ His eyes first landed on Guiver, he struck him as the intelliget sort. Maybe on the same path as Cerceris? He asked many questions, like she did. He liked her, he had nice conversations with her, especially about food and tea.
His eyes then landed on the dragon-boy. Xyre reminded Akira so much of him... His tail, those eyes... They were different in colour, but they were the same. They were the eyes of someone insane, and in a state of chaotic control.
"Humans are the way they are because they destroy that which they fear, and fear that which they don't understand. We are the way we are because the people that brought us into this world didn't want us to be like them..." He spoke quietly, as if trying to explain something he didn't know was questioned.
He looked at the ground, silently observing his draconic limbs react to the restless spirits Akira could see clear as day, he kneeled again, looking deep into the dragon's eyes.
"They won't hurt you. They just need help passing over... That's why I'm here... I guess." A moment's silence. He'd better explain.
"I'm bonded to Anubis, the death-god. Through that, I can see and speak to the dead. I'm his helper here in the physical realm... But I wish I wasn't. I don't like being bonded. I liked it before, when I was just Akira. Before he made me crazy."
He was of course, speaking about Lines in that last statement, though, he was crazy before he met Lines. Lines just made it clear to him that it was his chosen path... He needed to forget his feelings for the dragon-man, and live his life with the students...
"I like it here, though. I like the people I've met. Except Luke. He's an a*****e dog that attacked me first." He let out a growl, the subject of Luke didn't make him happy. It made him want to hunt.Guiver Monkey Guiver scoffed at the dragons's reply. "They sure don't have a clue what it is." His head shook back in forth, eyes closed in disbelief. He gave a sigh and felt at ease. These were people he could trust.
The furs on the monkey's tail bristled. He looked casually to see what had startled him and nothing seemed to jump out at him. He listened to Akira, ears tilted foreward, and tried to smooth his ruffled fur back into place. "Humans are a destructive species..." He nodded in agreement to the words spoken by the elder boy.
"Bonded to a God? Must be an interesting...thing." He wasn't sure how to respond to that piece of information. He paused for a brief moment and spoke again. "You know, you don't really seem that crazy and I'm sure this Anubis didn't mean to make you turn that way." He clicked his feet together, back and forth.
"This is a nice school, but I'm starting to think this is an all boy's school!" He chuckled at the thought. "So far everyone that I've met, execpt Ms. B, is a boy." Luke...he hadn't heard of a Luke yet and by the sound of Akira's voice, he didn't sound like a very good person to run into. Xyre Zirka Xyre felt goosebumps as the older male's eyes roamed his body. Should he feel violated by this? Oddly, it wasn't. HIs slitted eyes darkened at the thought of the normal humans. It was their emotions that had made the world so...hectic. If people were emotionless would the world not be so ready to deny all that they are aware of?
Emotions. He wished that it was something it he could live without, but doing so would just be telling lies.
The blonde frowned at the height difference between him and the wolf became obvious. He had to kneel, his lips curled into a snarl but quickly faded away as their eyes met full on. That woman said that if you stared into someone's eyes long enough not only would you see into their soul but you would fall in love with that person. Some of her tales seemed like only myths, some of them, though, weren't.
The other's eyes, something behind them...it was like a swirling darkness. There was no one path. Paths would combine and divide. "Anubis....ey?" A God...no...a death-god and he was the guide. A pawn more so.
A smirk returned. "His puppet thing is a b***h isn't it? I really would love to burn my roommate's little toy." He smirked again, forcing his limbs to calm. This Akira, could read him well.
He turned to Guiver. "Ah, there are indeed females here. They're just rare to find...I've met Sekhmet. She's...a reincarnation." The meeting between himself at the woman was informative and she was nice. A little stoic but at least she didn't piss him off.
The dragon-boy turned back to Akira, laughter and determination in his eyes. "I like crazy." Akira Maine He couldn't help but let out a chuckle, the thought of the school being an all boy school didn't bother him too much, he liked boys... They made him smile, most of them.
"I know four girls, Sekhmet's nice, if a bit formal. I haven't seen Trela or Astrid for a while... Nor have I seen Cerceris. But they're all nice. Cerceris is an Aanida, and trela's a Nahzeetial... Astrid, she's one of us... An altered human." a smirk lined his face, he liked these boys. They were nice, and they were like him.
"I almost killed Luke, I think... I didn't mean to hut him at the time; I was seeing things at the time. His puppet... Ah, the plushie. We didn't get along from the moment we met." He shook his head, ears twitching, he licked his lips and yawned very slightly, sharp canines glinting in the light.
His ears perked up at Xire, crimson eyes focussing on him once again, "Really?" Guiver Monkey A sigh or relief escaped Guiver's mouth. "That's good to know." The gears in his head turned. Mischief arised in his mind, but he quickly shook it off. Later, he would plot on seeking them out. A chance to see how the girls of this school were like.
"This Luke, I'm guessing he's someone I should stay far away from?" An inquisitive look on his face. Luke...what kind of person is he? This thought rattled along in Guiver's brain, but stayed there. Xyre Zirka The dragon male gave Akira a smirk with a hidden message. Is this what that woman called flirting? He was never sure about what she considered flirting. But he knew, that he and Akira would meet up later on. It was almost inevitable. He turned back to Guiver, a hand placed on his hip.
"Luke likes to play with people. More so play with them using his little puppet. But he's not a real threat, not yet anyways. He isn't hostile at least." If Luke was hostile he most likely would have more bandages then just the ones wrapped around his palm.
His tail swung behind him, letting itself flame a bit longer, careless in which direction it went. As it's host's opposite, it just didn't give a damn unless there was a chance that it could get hurt. So being its selfish self swung a little too high and got wrapped around it's owner's arm.
For some reason, Xyre felt a bit hot. It made him want to (if he found it) go back to his room for his Dragonfruit juice. His left eye twitched as he smelt something rancid. Slowly, the male looked down at his arm and the flaming tail upon it. He growled loudly and would've strangled his tail if he could. Instead his flicked the appendage off his arm, and pressed the burn tight against his body to hide it from these other two males.
'I just came from the goddamn nurse damnit.' His thoughts were on an angry tirade. He didn't want to part with his new companions just yet. His tail sulked flopping sadly. His wings on the other hand began to scold it's dragon-part brother. He let out another string of curses. This one was worst than the one on his palm, and already it was pulsing with pain. Silently he was glad for that, definitely it wasn't a third degree burn. Akira Maine Akira almost blushed at the younger male, seeming to pick up on his flirt. He smiled slightly, his tail flicking. His wings took a moment to stretch out, as if getting antsy and wanting to fly.
Akira's nose picked up on a scent that wasn't there a moment ago, and when he noticed Xyre had burned himself, he bit his lip, worried for the younger boy. He reached over, a hand delicately landing on the boy's leg.
"Are you okay?" He asked, crimson eyes watching the covered burn. It looked like it hurt a lot, "D'you want me to go get some ice from the cafateria for it?" Guiver Monkey Guiver's head shifted from watching Xyre and Akira, as if not sure who to actually watch. Until he noticed Akira's nose twitch at the smell of something. He noticed it too finally. Burnt skin. An unpleasant aroma, but where could it be coming from? He then realized it was Xyre.
"Woah!" Guiver shot out of his relaxing pose and sat at attention. "That sure does look painful," said Guiver, stating the obvious. He scooted closer to get a better look at the injury, but not interfere with Akira's investigation of the burned skin. Xyre Zirka Xyre growled visibly. He didn't do well when people were worrying about him. Even if they say that it's a good thing. It just ment that his space was intruded upon and he was treated like a child. Not that it didn't stop that woman for doing so everyday. Damn this school! He never got burned so often before.
The blonde's face immediately brightened as a hand landed upon his leg. It was a soft touch but even so...there was something electrifying about it. Plus...it was his leg. Not his arm, his leg.
The smell was just too obvious. Damn that. He twitched as the other male got closer to examine his wound. He had 'fond' memories of he himself being interested in all the injuries he received. Was it a boy thing? From his observations he supposed it was.
The male sneered and held out his arm for all the see. The area that was seriously burn was shaped into a thin triangle near his inner elbow. The burn faded into just a deep pink the further it got out. The bad part was starting to puss up, the inner area was pale, almost white. There were blisters appearing in the area and it seemed like there was a clear fluid there.
He had his rather large share of burns. Around a second-degree burn. It would most likely earn him a scar...unless whatever junk the nurse put on it did otherwise. Gods he was going to get far too acquainted with the nurse than he ever dreamed up. "I doesn't hurt that much. The nurse should have something for it. He...she...IT...will most likely do something similar to what it did to my hand." He lifted up said bandaged hand for them to see. I really needed to build up a fire resistance. Guiver Monkey Guiver was indeed curious about the injury, but he backed away slightly when his ears picked up the growl. He hardly even noticed the actions of the two boys.
When Xyre said the nurse had done something to fix his hand, Guiver's tail twitched with excitment and his wings fluttered. Another chance to get to know Aerin some more. The cross-dressing nurse peaked his interest in a strange way. "I'll go get the stuff Aerin used on our hand to fix your arm." Guiver bounded up onto his feet and without waiting for a reply from the dragon, sprinted down the hall towards the infirmary.
Do you Dare Disturb a Sleeping Dragon? Part 2 ]Evan[ "Aerin's nice," Akira mentioned, nodding slightly as Guiver left the pair to retrieve the magical burn cream. Being burned didn't seem fun, he mentally shrugged at the idea.
"Sure you're okay?" He asked, interested in hearing the boy speak, the slightest of smiles starting to show on his usually blank or less-than-happy features. Maybe he just needed to find the joy again?
He couldn't help but wonder if the burn was planned to give them a moment alone, or if it was an honest accident. Of course, his minds decided it was an accident. After-all, he was a little young for Akira at this point.
But he'll grow... He'll grow.
And Akira couldn't wait.Xyre Zirka Xyre deadpanned at Akira. He shuddered thinking about the nurse. Aerin...him?self...was okay. It was the crossdressing and the overly colorful room that freaked him out. He was used to plain sterile marless white walls. Walls that glared brightly back at him, amplifying hateful words. It was those white walls or pure darkness that enveloped him and erased any and all borders.
No.
Not going there. There was color in his life now. He was not empty.
He would be slapping himself alot later. He turned a bit more towards the older male. "It's pulsing. Meaning my nerves haven't been burnt beyond repair. I'll live." Was he being a masochist in hoping that it would leave a scar?
His face felt heated realizing the other male's gaze was completely on him. The other's prescence was enveloping him. He blinked, turning away again a bright blush on his face. He did not think about doing those kind of things with that guy.
Well yeah he was but but but...No! No getting flustered like one of those cute girly kinds of ukes. He was not that kind of uke. He wasn't an uke. But flashes of Akira on top...No no no no no no no. Bad Xyre bad bad bad bad.
His tail would be giggling with mirth if it had a mouth to speak through. Ah, it's owner's thoughts were just so amusing. But it itself wouldn't mind getting entangled with the other's tail. Fur on scales? It sounded intriguing. Slowly it wrapped itself around one of his owner's leg, rubbing against Xyre's thigh like a cat. ]Evan[ Was he blushing? It took him a minute to separate the boy's skin tone to the redness in his cheeks, and when he saw that he was indeed flustered, he gave a more confident smirk.
To hell with age.
Remembering his hand was still on the unoccupied leg, he moved it away slowly. Crimson eyes transfixed on the boy's emerald orbs. Inviting them to know his. Draconic wings folded and rested at his back, and he shuffled a little closer, as if he was going to look at the burn again.
His head however traveled just a touch more forward, and he gave the boy a lick on the cheek, a slow, and deliberately soft and gentle lick. If he could purr, he would have, but he made due with a gentle growl, one that didn't sound that threatening.
"Glad it'll be okay," He spoke, moving his head back and switching knees - The other was starting to lose feeling.
Xyre Zirka Xyre didn't dare actually look at Akira at this point. He knew that if he did, he'd never stop. But gods he couldn't help it.
Emeralds locked steadily upon crimson. Slowly he relaxed, his eyes darkening a bit. They were stuck there. He felt himself drowning and had no desire to go up for air.
His mouth was left agape as he felt that muscle make contact with him. Were tongues supposed to feel that good upon skin? His blush deepened and Xyre felt more and more like the uke he didn't want to be. His mind barely registered the near purring sound.
His tail shot out curling itself around the other boy's leg, holding on firmly. His sixth sense not only sensed things but also were the ones that expressed his inner feelings. He...wanted Akira's touch.
He looked down at his tail and scanned the older boy up, landing back upon those crimson orbs.
Xyre wanted Akira. More than he wanted anything.
Unconsciously, he licked his lips, throat suddenly feeling dry. Akira Maine His tail fluffed up a little, not exactly experiencing what its owner was currently exeriencing... Well, not really, in the sense that it was a welcomed feeling, and not the feeling that just showed up like it did with him.
Akira maintained eye-contact. The slightest red shade becoming evident on his cheeks, his affection was being recieved and returned; that was somewhat of a shock.
His mind repeated the dragon-boy's name. Xyre. Xyre. Xyre, mine. Mine. Mine. He intended on making him his, and he wasn't going to let anyone steal him away. He didn't think it would be possible to fall so easily for someone that wasn't Lineslieth... But it looked like he was proving himself wrong.
Be careful... He could hurt you. He ignored the voice for now, and leaned in again, clawed hands running along the tail that wrapped around his leg, and landing ontop of the other's hand.
His lips found their mark, and pressed softly against Xyre's, delicately as they could without neglecting to deliver the message that Akira wanted him, perhaps as much, if not more than Xyre wanted him.Xyre Zirka His tail shivered, happily accepting the touch of the other man. Yes, it approved very much. It uncurled it self from Akira's leg, moving up, intent on finding it's own match.
Xyre eeped a bit feeling the other's hands upon him but gave in. Emerald orbs fluttered shut as he pressed back less controlled than the older. His hand moved and intwined with the other. All he felt was Akira.
His heart beat faster and faster. His hand, his free hand, moved slowly reaching for the other boy's waist. Closer. He wanted to be closer.
Akira Maine It was a series of moments but they felt so right. All he felt was Xyre, and that was all he wanted to feel. He pressed into the boy's lips even more, and as he felt the boy tug to bring him closer, he leaned in, now kneeling over him, as he sat against the wall.
All his worries, the things that made him less happy, were gone. Thoughts of Lines had left him and for those moments, the dragon-man didn't exist in his world. It was just Akira and Xyre, and strangely, Akira was just fine with it being that way.
He felt their tongues play along, moving to the rhythm of a non-existant beat. His heart raced, and the temperature of the hall had to have gotten higher, and finally, when he broke away, he exhaled sharply, feeling that same sensation he'd felt many times over from thoughts of Lines. He wanted Xyre. Wanted him so badly, he could taste it.Xyre Zirka Their movements almost as if someone was smoothly controlling the both of them. It was good. It was so goddamn good.
For a brief second sanity came and disturbed him knowing that the chance that someone could be watching was high and almost thought of mving away but that tongue. That tongue.
His first kiss. It was intense, it was everything he wanted it to be and more. He whimpered when the body moved away. Immediately, lost in the feeling, his arms wrapped around the other male's neck. He stared at Akira for what seemed like eternity, searching for all he wanted to know. "Claim me." Akira Maine His eyes closed for a moment, taking in all that had just happened. His ears swayed upwards when he heard the male's voice, that soft spoken voice that wanted him to claim it as his own.
And he was going to do just that. Another, much lower growl escaped him, and his lips parted, licking Xyre's cheek again, his hands pulling the boy towards him just slightly.
"You're mine, Xyre... Mine." He whispered, and made his point by kissing him again, being careful not to hurt his lips or tongue with his teeth - They were sharp, and they did break skin on occasion. He didn't want to hurt the boy, deliberately, or accidentally. He'd rather hurt himself than bring the boy harm.
In all fairness, this was Akira's first kiss as well, the first he'd experienced that he found pleasant, that felt was right. Xyre Zirka Xyre felt something inside him begin to crumble and slowly, slowly it began to fall apart.
"Yes, yes, I'm yours..." He kissed the male back, moaning with the contact. Whimpers and moans escaped him, not caring if he was pretty much the uke right now. He wanted to feel something like thos for a long while.
He didn't know it, but there were tears, running down his cheeks. He didn't know why. But it must've had something to do with that thing breaking. Whatever it was, he wasn't sure but damn it to hell if it would keep him from getting what he needed. Guiver Monkey Guiver came skipping back down the hall with the container of burn cream. His tail and wings flapping in unison to a tune he was humming in his head. It kept him occupied on the trip back. He turned the corner and continued on towards where Xyre and Akira were waiting.
Only one thing came to his mind at the sight he saw. "EEEK!" The monkey side of him let out a shrill noise. He covered his mouth in shock and dropped the burn cream. The cream didn't drop to the floor, but hovered in the air, inches above the school's floor.
"I-I-I...," he stammered behind his hands. Guiver was at a loss for words. He could handle cross-dressers like Aerin, but this...this was too much for him. He wanted to turn and run to his room, but his brown eyes were unable to stop watching. Akira Maine The sound of a monkey's screach pulled him out of his trance, forced him back into reality, and he realised what had happened. He shifted backwards a little, and turned to look at Guiver, his face flushed. His wings flapped awkwardly for a moment, and his tail curled upwards.
"Guiver..." He managed, between pants.
"Uhm... You're back... Quick, I think. Uhm."Xyre Zirka Nothing was really registering to Xyre. He must of looked weird for the then something seconds that he was just kissing air. He whimpered, panting slightly. His eyes fluttered opened barely trying to understand whatever was going on.
Akira was on him...but not on on him. His mind was clouded with...he wasn't quite sure what his mind was clouded with but either way he had no idea why Akira stopped kissing him. Was he a bad kisser? A pout made its way onto his reddened lips. He sat up wrapping his arms around the older boy's waist. "Akira...." he moaned out slowly rubbing his head against the wolf's body.
The fact that Akira wasn't even looking at him was annoying. Then he heard a name.
F--k.
Slowly he turned his head and looked at the hyperventalating monkey. "You know I'm pretty much as surprised about him as you are but I do believe my mind is too high on whatever drug Akira is to register the shock." He blinked, his senses finally clearing.
Turning back to the body he preciously held, Xyre lifted up the other boy's shirt a bit, and then but his head back on the now bare skin.
He liked skin contact.
He figured that out now.
Do you Dare Disturb a Sleeping Dragon?Part 3 Guiver Monkey Ahh...please tell me I am not seeing this. Act calm and stop breathing like someone just died. These thoughts kept repeating over and over in his head. The only thing Guiver could do was turn to the side to avoid the direct gaze of their eyes. He coughed into his hands. A futile attempt to hide the screech that had escaped from his throat and regain normal breathing.
The fur on his tail bristled at the sight of the dragon's head against Akira's bare skin. It was something he was not used to and it would probably take Guiver a while to recover from this episode.
"Sorry about that. Here is the cream for your burn Xyre." He waved his hand slightly in the direction of where the dragon was. The floating container hovered along till in rested a few inches from their spot. "I-I...should probably get going." He motioned in the opposite direction with his thumb. ]Evan[ He wondered if he should leave, but he was so enjoying the attention Xyre was bestowing upon him. He made more of an effort to pull himself away from the boy, however. He didnt' want Guiver to be uncomfortable.
"Y-You can stay if you like," he said, his wings planting on his back, his ears raised slightly and his tail did what it always did.
He should probably get back to his dorm, soon, anyway. He had classes the next day and he should probably study for them. Xyre Zirka Xyre looked up at the older male sensing what the male decided to do. He sighed into the man's belly, finally mvoing away from the other's body. Though, he could do so further if the other was stradling him. But hell if he minded.
Emerald eyes looked at the jar of the cream and Guiver. "Thanks." His tail played nice and easily got it for it's body. It was happy, very happy. It now had a furry playmate. Play being use in both senses of the word.
The dragon boy sighed, not quite caring if the green other found it odd. Hell, he'd prolly end up seeing worse things going on if he had it his way in the future. Mmm, such a delicious future it would be.
The dragon was lost in thought tough had no problem with opening the jar and applying the cream to his burning. The substance bubbled and fizzed as it made contact. His eye twitch, such odd medicines...
The male ripped off the hem of his shirt to use as a bandage, it wasn't like he didn't have another pair of this kind. EMerald eyes looked back and forth between the two. Arms slowly encircled the body above him, leaning up to Akira's ear. Softly he whispered, "I'm in room one..." ending the sentence with a little n** upon the other's lobe. He felt a satisfied smirk form upon his face. Yes, this was going to be good. Guiver Monkey A shiver rose up his neck, making the hair on it stand on end. He dug the side of his head into his left shoulder to make the sensation disappear. His wings fluttered slightly and the tip of his tail twitched in agitation. When he was ever nervous, everyone could tell. "Oh, no no. I don't want to...stop you two from doing what...you're doing." He brought his hands to his chest and began to rub his left hand's knuckles. "I should probably just leave."
Guiver was a bundle of nerves at this point. Part of him wished to just curl up and die, while the other half was wondering what would have happened if he had walked in on them at a later time. "It was nice meeting you guys. Bye Akira. Bye Xyre."
He waved at them and turned back the way he had come. He crossed his arms across his stomach and his fingers constantly rubbing at his elbows. Guiver's bare feet pattered against the floor as he moved further and further from the other boys. His wings finally relaxed and decided to stretch themselves out. The tail swished back and forth now in a contemplative manner.
[End Guiver] Akira Maine Akira nodded slightly, "Nice meeting you too, Guiver."
Now he was alone with his dragon, he had him all to himself, but he still needed to go study, and perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea for Xyre to do the same. Bad grades could mean being asked to leave. He didn't want to lose any of his friends, let alone his dragon.
My dragon... Is he simply a replacement? No! Never. I would never do that. But what will I do if he finds out? Will he hurt me or Xyre? Would he even care?
Be mindful of your thoughts, he may be able to hear.
"Anubis..." He said, without realising he said it. He was troubled, and he usually ran to the dragon man for help, but this time, he would have to run from him...
He fell into the young dragon boy, wrapping his arms around him tight, as if he would float away if he didn't.
"Don't ever leave. Don't ever leave me."Xyre Zirka "Ah, yeah, later Guiver" He watched the boy leave for a bit, an eyebrow raised.
He turned back to Akira, smiling a bit now that the two of them were alone. But it soon dissolved as he sensed Akira battling with himself. He lifted a hand, tucking away some stray strands, tilting his head a bit.
But it immediately straightened hearing the other speak his bonded's name. He eeped as the older one fell into him, and gently he wrapped his arms around Akira, bending over a bit. Just like that woman would do whenever he was having a bad dream.
Xyre closed his eyes, nuzzling the boys locks. "The only place I plan to go to is into your room, under your covers, and at your side. Forever. A dragon's treasure always stays a dragon's treasure, even if it's taken away. I promise. Nothing will tear me away."
He felt cheesy for doing this, saying these things, but it just felt so warm. "I ******** love you Akira." Akira Maine "I love you too, Xyre." He replied, smiling. Comforted by his dragon's words.
"I should go... Study and all. Y'should do the same, since classes have started and stuff."
He gave xyre a soft kiss on the lips, crimson eyes gazing at those of his boyfriend's. He smiled and pulled himself away, standing. His wings stretched out, his tail swishing happily.
He walked away, down the hall, and when he turned the corner, he smiled.
Forever... His treasure...[End Akira]Xyre Zirka He smiled back at the wolf, feeling his heart and wings flutter from the other's words. His brain comprehended the other's parting words, but his heart was completely focussed on the kiss.
The dragon only got up when the wolf was out of view and most likely far enough away. A smile formed with his teeth still holding tightly to his bottom lip. He practically fell back against the wall, hands clenched together over his heart.
Emeralds gazed back and forth between both ends of the hall, making sure no one was too near by. Alright, it was clear.
He would hate himself for it but today was just...the good.
He squealed.
Loudly and high-pitched.
Xyre turned off the wall, going down the way that Akira didn't take, a slight hop to his step. He sang a softly, under his breath. He was a tough boy now and no one should hear a tough boy singing: "I have a boyfriend. I have a boyfriend."
Save Me IrkA dream/memory sequence RP
He moved slowly, his new body ached a little. His new peircings ached a little more. His tongue ran over his snakebite. Though the blonde really wanted to play around with them, his body protested. He stopped in front of his dorm, sending a signal through his feed to open his damn door.
As soon as it opened he trudged through, bumping into a few things. He was tired now, it didn't matter. He just wanted that dull throbbing to go away. He crawled under his blanket, wings and tail visibly drooping. They, too, were tired.
He was almost asleep when his head hit the pillow but he knew that something was off. A bandaged hand felt under his pillow and pulled out a ragged little horned bunny. Green eyes twinkled in the darkness as he gazed at his childhood safety.
His smile faded away for a bit. He realised, the more he grew, the more he remembered of times before that woman. It scared him. He clutched the little orange bunny close, letting memories of time pass engulf him as he slept.
The boy was only about five when he was taken out of.....he didn't know. It was just a dark, black, cold, place. Large green eyes looked up at the huge hand that held his. The size difference was immense and he wondered if he would ever be that big.
The man was wearing a long white coat and was dressed nice. Better than he was, well...that wasn't much to say for. He was nude. And it was cold. It was really cold."Cold..."
"Shut up maggot."
He did just that. He was lead to a door. Curious eyes looked up through blonde wisps of hair. The man spoke to someone else. How did that happen? He was just talking to a black box. The door opened, and it was a lot brighter than the dim hall, he squinted his eyes trying to see. He was roughly pushed in, and turned just in time to see the door close.
The boy didn't dwell on that man any longer. He looked around. It was a room, a room that was all white, and the walls seemed to poof out a bit. He wondered if all rooms were supposed to be like that.
He yelped as a hand grabbed him.
"Hush boy."
He obeyed. There were other people in the room, they too wore those long white coats. He blinked, wondering what was going to happen.
"He turned out well."
"Yes. We don't have the funding to try this type again."
"But don't you think he's too...pretty for a dragon?"
He looked down at his feet. He was a dragon? The child looked up at the men and for the first time saw himself. Wings? A tail? He was a dragon?
"------ he going to be put in yours and Dr. ------'s care."
Why couldn't he hear their names? He saw two of the men, younger ones, look at him. They were different from the other ones. One motioned him over with a hand and he went to the man.
He had dark blue hair and grey eyes. The man's hair went to his chine and though he didn't smile he seemed...soft. Little hands reached up and held onto this one's hand, feeling a bit safe now. The body began to move and he followed happily.
He looked up ahead and saw the other person. The man had black hair that went all the way to his butt, the tips were an icy blue. He was beginning to like to color blue.
It was a long hall and he was quickly becoming tired. His hair hung over his face a bit and his head started to droop. The body stopped moving and he slowly realised he was being picked up. It was warm.
"Don't start spoiling the kid, ------"
"He just got out of the chamber ------, it's fine if he's tired. We need to get some clothes for him, he can't be going around nude all the time."
"He's not your damn child ------!"
"But he is a child."
"Shut up."
Things started speeding up. Scenes moved faster and faster. Nothing to comprehend. What was going on?
Seven. That's right. He was seven now. He had been with them for two years now. They were walking along a street, just him and the black haired one. Now that guy cut his hair so that it only went to his shoulders but he kept those tips an icy blue. He knew now that this man didn't like him that much.
Neither did anyone else in this world. There were always eyes on him, and the more they stared the more he wanted to just...run away. Back to that warm man. He stared at the ground, his eyes no longer blocked by hair. By now it stayed up in large floppy spikes. His tail was curled around his waist and his wings rested upon his shoulders. He wanted them to not stand out but people still stared.
The other guy said he was going to do something special for them. Apparently, as he was told, the two of them were lovers. He didn't really know what that meant, except for the fact that they would smash their face into the other's and make weird noises some nights.
Green orbs widened as he stared at what was before him. A carnival? There was really a carnival in town? And he would be able to go in this time? The black one moved and he followed finally catching sight of the warm one waving three tickets. The boy ran ahead, hugged the warm one fiercely.
It was a great day and they were near closing times, their little group was about to leave but something caught his eye. He stopped and looked into one of the shooting range booth. One of the prizes was a little stuffed orange bunny. It had large grey innocent eyes and red devil horns and a devil tail.
He stood there, looking at it and then turned to them. He never wanted anything material before but...just once. He pointed to it. The warm one looked to the black one and the black grunted and went over to the booth.
It seemed like only a second before the black one came back with the plush and shoved it in his arms. He clutched it tightly, nuzzling the toy. And for this time he took the black one's hand, looking up at him very happily. the older male looked down and looked forward walking, trying not to smile.
Again. Time. There was none for him to remember. It was just jumping scenes.
Nine, this time. It was dark now. It was really dark. He shivered, hugging Irk close, not caring that the little toy's harn was digging into his chin. There was pounding outside. It was so noisy outside. So noisy. His body shook and tears streamed down is face.
Why? Why now? Did the world hate him that much? A loud crash. They did. He yelled as something crashed against the door. No light streamed from below now. It was completely dark.
The changed as the door was thrown open. A stranger, he stared horrified at it, Irk lay forgotten in his lap. The man bent over, a sick smirk on his face.
"Hey! I found the little mutant!"
He looked behind to man to see his house was burning. Flames reflected in his eyes and they lost their green shine turning darker. A hand clutched Irk tightly, while the other shot out at the other's neck. He squeezed but that didn't seem to faze the stranger. He wore no expression as his hand burst into flames, quickly burning the man's neck. He could feel flash melting underneath his hand. Then the body collapsed and stopped moving.
The boy stood, the devil bunny hanging limply in his hand. He heard feet coming up the stairs. Void eyes looked at the open door. Why did every one hate him? He saw the start of the crowd, he was ready to kill them all.
But he saw a body move in front of the entrance, gun shots going off. Icy blue tips moved fiercely as he tried to keep people away.
"Go Xyre! Fly off we know you can!"
His spell broke as the man struggled against other people. He looked at that man and saw something. "I can't leave you..."
"Xyre, go! Or ------ and I will punish you for disobeying! He's waiting for you at the carnival grounds. Go!"
The tears returned as he ran to the balcony ripping it open. There was a good amount of wind to get him where he needed to go. He tunred around one more time, hands clutching Irk tightly. He remembered. That's guys name was Ircc. His Irk was named after him. In the smoky light his, tears gleamed. He smiled at the man. "I love you Papa."
He leapt, wings catching the wind and he was on his way. The streets seemed bare. That was good, he just wanted to go away. Far far away. He spotted a car at the grounds and landed looking around for the warm one. He ran to the car, looking for him.
"Xyre, get in the car, now!"
He looked and saw him running towards him. Xyre quickly obeyed, getting inside the car, opening the driver's side for the other.
The other's hair stayed at chin length, for that he was glad. The warm one's face was always the same. Three shots rang out, the male stopped for a moment before pressing a few buttons. The seat belt tightened around him as he looked for an explaination. Blood.
It trailed out from the other's mouth. The warm one smiled and kissed his forehead and got out of the car, closing the door. The car started moving.
"No! No! No no no no no no!" He thrashed wildly trying to break free. He didn't want to. He couldn't both of them behind! He couldn't! He looked in the side view mirror and stared, eyes dialating.
The warm one.....no...The other lay upon the ground. blood starting to pool around him. The face was smiling, tears running from it. Then his hair fell, his dark blue hair...
No...
He wasn't sure how long the car had been moving, but it was. He heard a voice coming from the car.
"Xyre. Say something. Is it true? Have Doctor Ircc and Kira Zirka really been killed? Have they been killed Xyre?! Answer!"
Kira...Zirka. That's right. Somewhere along the way those two got married. Kira...his beloved Kira and Papa. That's what he called them. They were his parents. He prayed that they really weren't dead. He didn't want them to be dead. He loved them.
His eyes snapped open only to stare at sad grey eyes. Tears were on his face and slowly he wiped them with the bunny's little paws.
Ircc Zirka. Kira Zirka.
How could he have ever forgotten those names? He hiccuped and curled into a little ball.
He was Xyre Zirka, the beloved child of Ircc and Kira Zirka.
How could he have forgotten?
