Now right now I'm going to ask a question that has been bothering me for about a week now.
Let's say we live in an alternate dimension where the "prequels" that Lucas is coming out with now are actually the good ones and the original trilogy are the ones that are awful.
Now my question is twofold
First question is what exactly would it take for the prequels to be decent movies?
Second question. How would Lucas manage to ******** up the original trilogy?

Well that is the response that I've been getting for the most part but I think that the problem is more at the core of the problem between the movies is that Lucas has tried to substitute flashy special effects for actual story.
