Something Jani might have said in the past, or, at least she would have pointed out that if Ancelin'd played more in the dirt, she'd have built up immunities to sicknesses like this, but no, she didn't even comment on that, instead pushing her small, tan hands deeper into her pockets, large brown eyes following cracks in the sidewalk, and then staying put once they'd reached the door of the Kuronaho house.
Jo, the only adult who seemed to have noticed the severe change in the Sin'Aeis, had sent a request to the Traverse house, as she didn't want Sjajan wandering around alone, and so here she was.
Instead of giggling, and tickling Yvette as would have been the norm, she'd said hardly a word to either the younger, or older girl that accompanied her, and instead knocked firmly on the door.
Ancelin was bedridden, and Sjajan blamed herself. Who else could have given her such a dishabilitating sickness?

Mirelle raised an elegant eyebrow, tossing her gold mane absently behind one shoulder as she eyed the little potato Sin'ais. She hadn't been able to ask the young lady who answered the Reever door about Jani's behavior - hell, about the only person she WOULD have asked was Aunt Indu - but even a fool could see the little girl was hurting rather badly. And self-interested and aloof as she could be most of the time, Mirelle wasn't about to let the child sink into some gawdawful depression. Jani WAS one of Chloe's best friends, after all, as well as Mirelle's "cousin." That meant she fell under family.
"JaniJaniJaniJani!"
Of course, the blond assassin in training had forgotten the other half of the equation.
Yvette pouted and squirmed in her sister's arms, looking impatient. They were going to go see Anny - that she knew. And the infant would be more than happy to go play with one of her best friends. But at the moment, she was more concerned about Jani. HER Jani, Chloe's Jani. The Jani that wasn't smiling, or giggling, or tickling her belly to make her laugh. This was VERY wrong, and Yvette aimed to do something about it. Stretching her arms for the potato Sin, she whined. "JaniJani take!"

Shelly was at the mailbox when the four came into view, taking out the bills that had been stacking up in the house mistresses absense. But she was aware of the visitors she'd be receiving today. Or rather, who An would be receiving today. "Oh, hello." She said timidly, smiling faintly. "I didn't expect you so soon.. Please come in and make yourselves at home. I'm sure it would cheer Ancelin up to have some company." She said, pointing up the side walk that lead to the door.
Ancelin was infact still very sick. Which made it a really good thing the house was practically empty. Aru and Onii still at Rune's, and Sakura and Oliver still at Noyama's. It left her pretty much by herself while everyone was taking care of Tenshi's imprisonment. "ACHO!" She sneezed from her bedroom, before she let out a groan and blew her nose. She had no idea she'd soon have four guests in her bedroom.

Sjajan actually hesitated a moment before taking the younger girl into her arms and holding her carefully, as if afraid she'd get Yvette sick too, and took a moment to enter the house, as if collecting herself. Jan visibly winced at the sound of Anny's loud sneeze, and headed toward the pheasant-girl's room, a location she'd memorized long, long ago.
It only took the troop of blondes a few seconds to reach the door, and in one of the few things that was still accurate to her typical behavior, Sjajan politely knocked on the door, her voice quiet and hesitant as her hand stilled on the door knob.
"Anny...? S'Jan, 'n Evie, 'n Mirelle. Kin we c'min?"

Mirelle nodded cheerfully to Shelly as they entered, her face darkening a moment later as she focused again on Jani. Ohhhhh yes. This was bad. Gently, she set an elegant hand on the smaller Sin's head for a few seconds before turning the knob without waiting for a reply. With her hearing and the sneeze, she knew full well that Ancelin was still in bed. "You sound like s**t, little bird." She remarked, not unkindly.
Yvette sighed. There went Mirelle again. The infant Sin knew better than to make a noise about Mirelle - her big sister would do what she wanted, when she wanted, and nothing Yvette said would stop her. Instead, she happily cuddled into Jani's arms, giggling and clapping her hands. "Anni, Janni!" Her two best friends in the same place! Yay!

Shelly followed the group inside and set the mail in a bill filled bowl on the counter in the hall, before she followed them up the stairs to where Anny's room was. She then looked to Mirelle.. Didn't someone show her a picture of her before? Oh yeah. "Sesshomaru is home aswell, if you wish to see him." She said, before bowing her head. She then turned around and went back down the stairs, probably headed to the kitchen.
An groaned slightly from the pain in her head, before she quickly sat up when she heard Jani's voice, and then saw a small group of people come in. "'Ey, Dani... Vebt.. Wos up?" She asked in a severly conjested tone. Most would of probably had used tissues scattered all about their room, but An had them tossed in a bit garbage can beside her bed. And right beside that was a can of germ killer spray. If the group looked to the corner of her room by the door, they would see the remains of a packed away bubble room.. That for sure wasn't going to be used anymore.

Jan noticed the bubble-stuff, but thought it wiser to ignore it, and followed Mirelle in, relieved that she hadn't had to lead the way, and set Yvette gently on the bed, somehow knowing the younger Sin wasn't about to get sick from Ancelin. Brown eyes locked on the carpet, and she slid her hands back into her pockets, voice quieter than before, now that she was closer.
"An, I'm migh'y sorreh 'bout gettin' yah sick... Kin I do anythin' tah 'elp?"
She HAD to have gotten her sick, right? After all, she WAS the dirty, disgusting child, wasn't she? Of course she was.

Sesshomaru? Mirelle turned, momentarily distracted from whatever she'd been about to tell Jani. Which, judging from the dejected expression on the Sin's face and the impatient look on Mirelle's own, wouldn't have been what Anny needed to hear. Still, her voice was casual. "Really? Where is he?"
She sure as hell wasn't going to ask why he wasn't caring for Anny. Stupid questions were just that.
Yvette giggled. "Anny talk funny." She reached back for Jani, tugging on the Potato Sin's sleeve. "Jani sit wif Anny and Evie!"

Anny looked to Jani slightly shocked, why did she asume that she was the one who got her sick? Oh yeah.. Dirty. Right right. She gave a weak smile and whiped her nose with a tissue, before folding it in half so it'd be dry the next time she needed it.
"Ah naw... I don tink ih waz youh who goh meh sick, Dani.. I tink ih happene when I wos wiff Asfer.. I dih spen moreh tihm wit 'er than I dih youh." She said, trying to comfort the potato child. She then scooted farther agianst her bedrest, so the girl could take Yvette's advice. "Yah, sih down.. I dun tink you'h get ih.. Doc says iz just a normel cold.." Psh, if it was a normal cold, why did she fell like she was dying?
As if on cue to Mirelle's question, Sesshomaru walked up the stairs carrying a glass full of blood, sipping on it idly. He paused when his golden eyes went upward and met the equially golden haired girl. He then went to the floor and took a few steps forward, sipping agian. "Mirelle, what are you doing here?"

Jani looked as if she'd been slapped. ASPER? Letting her head tilt forward, so her growing hair fell to cover her expression, she carefully cleared it, so when she lifted it again, her face was curiously blank. Letting herself carefully settle onto the bed, she pulled Yvette into her lap, and ran her fingers through the baby's hair, taking a moment to store her thoughts.
She hated Asper. Truely. It'd been a new emotion for her, and the mint girl felt the same was about Sjajan. Since before Ancelin had moved in, Asper had stolen any attention Jan was receiving from the pheasant-girl, and arrogantly returned it. Still, that wasn't way Jan hated her. No, she just... Had a horrible feeling about her 'sister'.
After Anny had moved in, she'd been spending as little time as possible with Sjajan, and as much as possible with Asper. In fact, she'd even stayed in Asper's room for a short time, while another one was being cleaned out. It just wasn't fair!
Still, her face reflected none of this, although brief hurt and anger may have flickered in her eyes, and she spoke, tone strangely pleasant.
"Nex' time I commov'r, I'll brin' yer stuff wih' me, 'kay?"

Yvette frowned mightily, her small face pinched. Okay, this was WEIRD. Her Jani may have looked normal, but there was a strange tightness in her muscles, the kinda mad motion Mama got sometimes when one of the annoying people showed up from other-home and argued. Wriggling back into Jani's arms and petting, she cuddled the other girl's arm, peering up at Ancelin doubtfully. What had her Ani done that was so bad? Was that why she was sick? She'd made Jani mad?
To her rather pleased credit, Mirelle managed to keep a calm, neutral expression, one corner of her mouth lifting in a small confident smile at the sight of the dog demon. Shifting her jacket on her shoulders, she leaned a hip against the wall and motioned toward the kids with one hand. "Brought Jani and Yvette to see Ancelin."
(Crap. Guys, I gotta go. I feel like absolute crap, and Mom's home. *snug*)

Ancelin frowned softly at Jani, yeah she didn't get the full burst of knowing Jani was upset, but she didn't seem so good.. "Awe youh feewing awighf Dani? I hofe I dihnt geh YOUH sichk when youh hepped meh da ofer day.." A dark blush then spread over her cheeks as she remembered it.. That was the second time she and Jani had... 'kissed' so to speak in the duration of their quote-unquote "Friendship". Not to mention the second time Jani had saved her LIFE. "I wanhed ta tank youh forh dah... I nefer goh 'he hance behfo." She said, before looking at Yvette with a grin. "Dani sabed my wife da other daye.. I woz cokin an she gab me da hymen mahnover."
Sesshomaru walked up to the door and nodded as he gazed in at Ancelin and the others, before he held the glass out to Mirelle. Offering her some of the red life goo. "She's been coughing and hacking all day and night. I slept out in the woods last night just so I wouldn't hear it." He said with a bit of distaste. He then looked to Mirelle agian, giving a slight smirk. "Never pictured you for the type to like children.. I'll be sure to remember that in the future."
