"Yes, that long..." He said sadly, "But are you saying I can stay with you?" he asked eagerly, "Because it you are, I'd love too!" he said exitedly, the sadness leaving his face as his tail bagan to wag. ((Same, but I won't be on untill after school or during my lunch if I'm lucky, so timezones may go all freaky... O.o I guess it depends on where you live.))

Pagao chuckled, "Yep, that's what I'm saying." He said, grinning at the little thing. So whatever Talice had.. plus one more, that didn't seem too bad. Pagao could take care of pups. Though Tali would really be having to take care of the newborns she'd be having soon, he realized.
"Jus' as long as you don't mind a few others traveling with us?" His brows rose as he looked at Yakuti, unknowing if he was shy around strangers or not. He had been a little freaked out to meet pagao, after all.

"Oh, I don't mind" Yakuti said happily "If they're anything like you I'm sure we will get along fine!" he added, wagging his tail. There was a hope inside him, the hope that he may have found a new way of life with Pagao, the hope that he would no longer be alone in the world. ((quick post before school, be back later!))

Pagao cackled slightly, shrugging. "There aren'y two hyena on these plains exactly alike, Yakuti. But she is pleasent enough company. Hopefully you'll meet her soon." He hunched over so he could scratch at his side with his hind foot.

"Whahoooo!" Shreiked Yakuti exitedly "I can't believe I actually get to stay with you! I'll work hard to get faster and, this is so exiting!" he panted, his tail wagging furiously.

Pagao chuckled more and rose to his feet, stretching. "Well now that it's been decided, what about finding a nice place to rest?" He'd grab as much meat as he could, probably one of the front legs, to bring with him.

"Yeah, come to think of it I am kind of tired." Yakuti said, chasing the zebras had been hard work, especially because at the time, he had been running on an empty stomach. "Do you know of any good places around here?" he asked, before now he was just wandering, so he never thought to remember landmarks and such.

"I know a good tree not far off, hopefully lions wouldn't have gone there yet." He ripped off the leg and began to walk, glancing back to make sure the boy was following him.

Yakuti shuddered, lions had always scared him... But he pushed it from his mind and quickly grabbed one of the leg bones to chew on before following Pagao.

After a while of walking the tree was coming into sight, and not a lion in the facinety. Pagao grinned around his mouthful of leg, proud that his plans worked out. "ere we rrr." He muttered around the mouthful.

"ts bootfl" said Yakuti, bone still in his mouth. he dropped his bone and said "you said there were others, where are they? When do we meet up with them?" he asked.

Pagao grinned slightly, shrugging. "Ah, they'll turn up sometime." Others. One pregnant female, that would surely confuse the pup! "anyways, now I nap. If you don't mind?" He rose his brows, shifting so that he could comfortably hide the meat half under him and up against the tree.

A nap, that sounded good, "Okay then." said Yakuti sleepily, he always got tired when he thought of sleep. He lay down and set his bone between his front paws and fell to sleep.
