Magical_Dreams Nakayru The idea of rapture scares me. And God knows it too. i feel all the crazy things happening with global warming, kids getting murdered, parents not caring, teen pregnancies. Its just scary. I know these things were all in the bible, and i wish i knew how long it would be from here, because i want to get married and raise a child before it happens...I'll be faithful to God alwys, because He knows and only He knows what will happen. I feel the same! eek Sometimes at night i cry.. gonk It scares me that much..but then..maybe i'm crying because even though i'll be taken (hopefully..o.O) what about the people i've grown to love, see, talk to, and care for? I have plenty of friends and family that dont know anything about God and what he stands for, and all i've been doing is trying to find that 'opportunity' where i could tell them..>.> even though that 'opportunity' wont happen unless i go and start it! gah! all those people I weep for because from reading Revelations and reading Left Behind the Kids (yes i read all 40), they've given me a pretty good picture of what'll happen after the Rapture. SCARY!!! xp burning_eyes I completely agree for the same reasons. Im afraid for it because theres still so much I want to do and see. I feel like I have to hurry and accomplish everything as soon as I can but I know some things I have to wait for. I know however, that God knows what'll happen and he knows what we need to accomplish before hand.

It's commin... Think about it... Bible speaks of the dead rising... Starbucks is taking over the world... What does coffee do? Coincidence? I think not!
Ok, now srsly. I'm not sure what I think about it... I definately know the end of the world's commin. I'm just not sure about the some being taken and some being "left behind."

I think the rapture is a metaphor of how the Christinas will rise with Christ no whre in Revelations doesnt it mention the Rapture just in Thessolians and we are in tribultion times so may be its jus a way of giving praise to Jesus Christ.

Rapture is basically the end of the world. You're right, thats just how its described in the bible

I guess the rapture is a sort of bitter-sweet thing. On one side, we'll get to see God face to face (there is no smily that could even come close to drescribing how awesome that is). On the other, some of your friends won't... On the good side, some will. And heaven (or New Earth) will be waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than everything we have now. There really is nothing about the rapture for a believer to be afraid of.
