I know there was a thread asking about who worked with books. What I want to know is, what jobs are there involving books? At school, we're planning for college and our careers. I know I want to do something with books. However, I don't think teaching English would be the right path for me. What else could I be? question
(This isn't a repeat thread in my opinion, but if one of you Mods feel that it is, please delete with my humble apologies.)

You could teach literature, be a librarian, author, editor, publisher... um... and that's about all I can come up with. confused I'll be sure to think about it, though.

Writer, pubisher, illustrator (if they are in books), libarian (not the best job, but hey!), english teacher (to an extent), and I'm sure there are some more I can't think of right now.
Personaly, I would like to be a writer. But, that's just me.

Well, if you really want to get into it, and if you have a lot of time to learn, you can be an archivist. Or you could study esoteric books from diffrent lands. Like if you have an intrest in diffrent languages, you could work as a translator. As in, if you are a very religious person you could study and translate the Bible, or, translating diffrent books and poetry from ancient civilizations such as Greek or Latin, or, publishing those books and making them relevant to the modern world.
Anything you really want to do is pretty much open to you in the modern world. Maybe even you could enter books into an online database, so if the origional books are destroied, there would be copies for future generations.
There are a Multidude of diffrent jobs that you can work with books, eather indirectly or directly.
I'm sure the perfect job is out there for you.

Well I'm a novelist and a poet but I'm not sure if that's what you want. You can be a librarian, editor, publisher, journalist, ect.
