Walking back to Aquila with the feeling of warmth in his chest that echoed the warmth of having some one to hold, Kade was content. It was with mixed feelings that they approached the school grounds, it had been a great day and walking onto campus with the sun low on the horizon before them, it felt right; on the other hand though, coming back to campus meant the end of the day.

Looking down at Cirrus as she brought them to a stop he smiled. Her words were simple and he had a simple answer for them. A simple 'The pleasure was mine' or 'I had a great day too' all these thoughts were stopped when she stood up on tiptoe to kiss him. Her soft red lips on the corner of his mouth, so close he could taste her, left him dazed as she twirled away into the dying day.

Looking after her, his eyes a bit wider than usual, and his smile a bit brighter. He watched her dance away and gave a soft laugh to the evening breeze. Sticking his thumbs in his belt loops he turned in the direction of his dorm and a jaunty step took him back to his room, the kiss lingering on his cheek and on his mind.
