So, you're writing a lovely little story when you suddenly get BLOCKED. Or SOMETHING EQUALLY DRAMATIC. And you think "Oh of knowing! I am undone!"
Well then, why not share your problem here and let your problem be handled by your fellow guild members!
This is also doubles as a Writers' Block thread, so feel free to share your cures for the dreaded WB in here.

Kay, here is some advice: Don't acknowledge it. I refuse to say that I have writer's block, because that could jinx it. Just keep writing and call yourself "lazy." biggrin Works for me, anyway. sweatdrop

I figure most of the time it IS lazy. Honestly, I can't think of the last time I was truly blocked, but I don't feel like writing lots of times. However, when I do run into a little snag (mostly when writing papers) I go take a shower or sit on the toilet for a while--spend some time in the bathroom. It's like a little meditation room, and when I come out I have a fresh perspective on whatever I was writing and can work through the bit that was holding me up.

Keep writing. The work you do whilst you have a writers block might not be your best but continuing to write is better than not writing at all because if you stop it may become hard to get back into your writing. If you really do need a break then work on a different aspect of your writing such as characters, plot, or the fine tuning of the world that you are working with if you haven't finished such things.

Whenever I get a block, I go and take a nice hot shower, and then listen to some inspiring music, taking some time off from writing. Usually the answer is already there, it just needs time to incubate in your head.

when I get writers block I cry and my boyfriend pacifys me with cola and chocolate...then I have a shower, attempt to meditate then go on a tidying spree rather than write, then I sit down and write once I'm exhausted and fall asleep on my laptop.

1.Dont completely stop writing because you think you may have "lost it" 2.Relax all writers go through writers block sometime. 3.Slow your life down a little take a deeper look to things around you, you will notice things you have never noticed before. 4. Dont stay up late writing in less you want to... remeber writing is not a job its a hobbie talent and a lot of fun.

the best way for me to get over writers block is not to try writing since it will only frustrate me. Instead i prefer to sit alone in a quite room and just think. Eventually i will think about what I want to be writing and usually will get some inspiration.
