Returning from her travels towards the stream, Panya quickly placed what water she had left into a small bowl, getting ready to make the meal for when her husband would return. As she searched the room with her eyes, she lifted a hand to grip her necklace with her fingertips, biting her lower lip in worry as she knew something was bound to go wrong. Just like every other day, she would make a major mistake and leave herself only being shamed by all around her.
Settling down upon her knees, she just closed her dark eyes in thought, figuring that she would be alone long enough to catch her bearings. As long as no one was there to see her slip, she wouldn't fall very hard.

Traveling through a dusty village an into a small hut, Ausoli carried a light spear, tossing it to the ground as he entered his home. He hated this. Not only could he not hunt decently, but he was being paired up with like...the total opposite of him! Short against hella tall. Clumbsy against well...not so clumbsy. Could it be any worst? Probably..
Ausoli glanced up at Panya, not giving her anymore but a slight wave ofthe hand. Just because they were married, didn't mean they had to show any affection towards eachother..right?

Jumping as she heard footsteps, her eyes opened suddenly for her head to whip to see who it was. Letting out a soft breath, she tried not to look releaved that it was Ausoli, her mind having assumed the worst, before she saw him wave. Realizing she was staring, she shot her eyes back towards where the lukewarm water sat. Slowly, she moved to get her hands started, trying to look as if she was doing something until he would leave, her heart hammering and her cheeks darkening. Maybe he would only be there for a moment, not wanting to stay while she cooked.

The man (well...teen?) looked down towards his wife, watching her momentarily why she cooked. "What are you making...?" He asked after a moment, leaning over to see what was inside the pot. The adult was happy to have someone cooking for him, because truthfully, he sucked at it. Yay for list of things he sucked at, what a perfect husband..no?
Then, out of no where, the man leaned against the wall. "We need a dog." He huffed. "Something that will help put meat on the table." Ausoli was grumpy because his hunt had failed.

She let out a soft sigh and set her hands down in her lap, deciding to keep her eyes away from his own. Like most who were higher in power than she, she learned to never look them into their eye, for it was a sign of disrespect.
"A simple fish stew...with some spices I harvested earlier today." She knew that having it for a few days in a row was really degrating, so she hoped today that the spices would help add flavor and enrich the meal that reflected their marrage so much.
At his next comment, she raised her eyes slowly and looked to the wall in front of her, thinking it over and wondering if he was asking for her opinion, or just stating his mind. Deciding not to speak, she went back to cooking, and slowly pulled out the fish that had been wrapped in cloth.

Fish stew eh? Hmm... I guess that was an okay meal.. Wait, he wasn't one to speak, for he had failed at his hunt, so fish it was! "Goody" He commented, rolling his eyes. Hey, nobody ever said he had to enjoy the meal, right! "When should it be ready?" Ausi asked the girl, moving towards the side of the hut.
"The men are thinking about going to catch some wild dog puppies. Hopefully I'll be able to snag one when I go." He nodded, speaking more to himself then her. A moment later, he looked up towards the cooking mistress. "Any specific color you'd want if I can snag one...?" He asked.

She just sighed at his sarcasim, keeping her eyes low as she took the small knife and started to peal off the scales. It was a stalled responce, but finally she looked over to him, "It should be ready as soon as the hunt is over..." Just holding the gaze a moment longer, she turned back to make sure she didn't make any mistakes. So far, so good, but something had to go wrong soon.
And as soon as she thought that, and he asked the question of colors, she felt the blade slip and slice her finger. Though it was not enough to be serious, it still surprised her as she dropped the knife and quickly wrapped the fish up. It would be worse if blood got on the meal.
"It will be your hunting dog, so it should be your prefrence." She answered softly, looking down at the cut that was slowly leaking a dark red coloring.
