InnocentBlackShadow http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12856012&page=25 Wouldn't the banning of inflation groups also mean the banning of deflation groups? I mean even though our cause is more noble, to make items more affordable for all, we're doing the same thing they are, aren't we? Trying to artificially change the price of items? :-/ I don't want LAID to be shut down and our efforts to make items more affordable stopped just so that way artificial inflationists can't do it either! Even if they're gone groups like LAID would still be needed!

InnocentBlackShadow hmmm ~ i had nt thought of that eek i ll look into it well if they shut down inflation guilds for scamming then they wouldn't shut us down! I mean we're not scamming... we're being charitable. I suppose that's one way to deal with it!

Even if they're gone groups like LAID would still be needed! We're not trying to lower prices though, just keep them where they'd naturally be at. We're combating those who come together and make an effort to raise prices by trying to keep them where they are, not lower them or change them. ...Right? If so, there's nothing wrong with that. We're not coming together to change prices, only keep them the same.

But the mods can't, or won't, interfere with freemarket. Three Million is right, that is the way mods look at it. Deflation and inflation is the same in technical terms, and they have to go by what is poitically correct or gaia would be turned upside down. Plus, alot of gaia's profits come but price-jackers who buy sealeds. They don't really want to piss anyone off, as well as keep out of gaian politics. Gaia does mean world, and you don't see god reaching in and taking away everyone's nukes. It's a technicality to them. The members are the ones who have to change it. But, in good will, I'll sign. Just in case, you know? wink It's a good idea to sign these things just to see where we're at in numbers. 3nodding heart

The whole problem is that, Like Frosted mentioned. The Mods/Admns will not come between Deflation or Inflation. the only way I think we can fight Inflation is to do the same thing they're doing. Get more people to come together and hold down the prices of the Items. We could "Fake" The buying from each other at lower prices in order to Deceive others to think the prices are lower. Because I'm pretty positive they're Faking the big buys within themselves in order to get more people to think the items are being inflated and then moving on to the MP.
