Wrestling did the whole cheerleader thing before, they are supposed to be hyperactive acrobat wrestlers, and I'm so sure that that is kayfabe that it's not even funny...I do however feel bad for Val Venis, that dude hasn't been used since he teamed with Regal to go against the Dudley Boyz so I would love to see him come back and beat up some Squad a**..I personally don't care much for the Spirit Squad but they are entertaining to watch and they are hilarious in my case and they did go to OVW to learn their skill
Poor Pepper Parks must be feeling terrible about this because he's currently doing the whole male cheerleader thing (not gay though, just really talented in the ring and out the ring while being really nice to others) and he's the current Heartland Wrestling Association Champion

I'm not saying they don't have good moves... there's just, as we all know, more to wrestling then a good move. Granted the best wrestlers can injure others (Goldberg and Bret Hart come to mind). I know they were in OVW... still it doesn't mean they are good wrestlers. Regardless of who it is.. I hate seeing that neglegence on someone's part yields an injury to another wrestler.

I love the spirit squad. I think they are all great athletes, and to top it off, they have great wrestling skill and ability. I loved them ever since their very first random appearence on Raw.
IMO the Spirit Squad is:
Not gay
Not little
Not douchebags
Awesome
