{:Healing the Headmaster:}
Entrylog October 10th, 2008
One would think settling down into clan grounds would make life calmer now that we have more room, but it seems it has up heaved all of us and now everyone is busier than ever. It doesn’t help that past events have only served to make things more interesting, not that, that is a bad thing. In fact it has been a very productive past month.
Mother and Donovan had come to me concerning the headmaster, as it turns out Headmaster Scott was very unwell, which isn’t surprising seeing as the amount of drugs he has put into his system. He is very wary of healing magic, but since he is close friends with a doctor (his doctor) they had gotten a hold of his medical files. I’ll tell no soul except this paper in which on write on that it is a miracle the man is even still alive. The three (mother, Donovan and Dr. Fluffy) had devised a plan that involved Miyu. It is their hope that since Miyu is the most non threatening person in the family due to her skittish nature that Mr. Scott will allow her to heal him. In addition, it is under the pretense that Miyu needs experience, not that we know of his current condition.
The excuse is very plausible, while Miyu is very good at what she does, and understands completely what it is that she is doing, her still child like speech has made it difficult for her to work with students. That and she still becomes nervous every once in a while, the advantage with Tracy is that Miyu has known Tracy since she was no more than a little Surprise. The exercise went better than expected, not only are Tracy’s organs now fully functioning, Miyu had always taken care of the headmaster’s addiction problem. Unfortunately for there is no way to look after the headmaster’s mental problems, no amount of healing can do that, since much of it I suspect is from whatever trauma he had suffered. However, at least from now on Tracy’s doctor can give me purely false medication.
Miyu’s healing exercise though is not the only event that has occurred to the medical wing. Yue had brought in a dog a few days later, whom… much to my great surprise I found out later from Miyu was actually Were-ah Scott turned into a dog. Yue is furious at the magic students would do something so reckless. Though in light of what could have gone wrong with such transformation I do not pity those students. Fortunately mother was able to turn Were-ah back, granted with longer hair than when the girl started out with. Well, nothing a hair cut can’t solve.
