I never knew this until recently since i've been doing more research on Anime lately. Someone who has seened this series explain more. I saw the add's to it back in 2003 i believe and i thought i'd skip it considering it's another one of those magical girls anime. I mean i'm already tied up with Tokyo Mew Mew and Ojamajo Domeri. confused

I have all of the series; it's not bad. Just a normal magical girl series, but ironically there's nothing really "magical" about the main characters.
The plot? [is there really one?] Onigawara Mao is normal 8 year-old, daughter of the Chief of Staff of the Ground Defense force. With the help of her friends, Tsukishima Misora [Air Defense Force] and Maruyama Silvia [Marine Defense Force], they work together to fend off cute aliens that invade Japan.
At times, the girls do more damage that the aliens would do itself, and their budget quickly lowers everytime material is used. [By the end of the series, it is researched that approx. 3,900,545,000 yen has been spent]
My purpose for watching? The op theme is kinda catchy, and some of the seiyuu [i.e. Horie Yui] and the Love Hina cameo. ninja
