Selena looked at her thoughtfully. So do you not remember either? I do hate having holes in my memory.

Sometimes i feel that with out the holes in my memorie, there would be nothing else there

Selena wore an amused wolfish-grin on her face at Kiani's response. Sensing her friend avoiding the question, she decided to drop the subject.
She looked ahead. Ahead of them stood a large forest, its depths plunging almost immediately into darkness as the thick foliage on the trees drowned out most sunlight. Ferns grew abundantly on the damp leaf-covered ground and moss speckled the sides of the tall coniferous trees. Selena paused before entering. Danger lies ahead. Enemies of all sorts could be living in this wilderness. We need to be careful. Are you ready? she asked Kiani.

Yes she responded, and leaped into one of the first trees to get a better vantage point of all that was going on on the forest floor. She remained in the trees and followed Selena by staying above and to her right, and leaping silently from branch to branch.

Selena watched the agile feline as she stood lookout in the trees. Not far ahead she heard a rustling. Perking her ears, she assumed her friend heard it too. The air smelled foul, like a goblin was nearby. She sensed that she and Kiani were being watched. Come out now, and you might be spared, Selena said to the creature as she bared her fangs.
An echo of laughter followed her threat. From both sides three goblin-like creatures appeared in the path of the wolf. Their crooked grins gave way to rotting teeth as they gripped slightly old-looking rapiers. They wore suits of leather for armor, but wore nothing on their bald, wrinkled heads. Their yellow eyes spelled trouble, and Selena was going to have none of it. Her hair stood up and her teeth warned the thiefs of trouble to come.
Calling out a mix of a war cry and cackling laughter, the goblins moved in for the attack on the wolf.

Kiani watched from above as Selena was quickly surrounded by three goblins. She unsheathed her bow, and let loose an arrow into the eye of the one on Selena's right.
As soon as the arrow had found it's mark, Kiani returned her bow to her shoulders and unsheathed her sword. As the sword came out of it's sheath she leaped to the ground and landed behind the goblin before Selena.

Nodding at Kiani's dashing and rather amazing attack, Selena wasted no time in heading at the goblin closest to her, who had its rapier ready and already coming down on Selena as she got closer...
It never got its chance as Selena dodged the blow and sunk her fangs into the creature's neck, blood flowing freely down its grotesque form. Writhing in pain, the goblin screamed and tried to slash at her with its last moments, but its strength ebbed as deep choking sounds spurted from its mouth and it died in a pool of blood. Selena grimaced soon afterwards. Disgusting creatures, she spat, trying to get all of its foul-tasting blood from her mouth. No matter how hungry she may ever get, goblin would never be on her menu.
The last goblin stopped its rampage as it watched its cohorts fall down without mercy. It looked around and backed up slowly as Kiani and Selena stood side by side, Selena baring her fangs once more, a deep growl coming from her throat. A shrill whistle came from the goblin, followed shortly by more goblin language of cries from a far distance in the forest.
That b*****d just called reinforcements, Selena said to Kiani. Does it really think it has a chance against us?

Idiot Kiani thought to selena, as she leapt from her spot as selena's side and swung her sword in a sideways arch, slicing the monster's throat wide open.

Giving a wolfish grin at her friend's move, Selena wasted no time in rushing towards the impending shouts of goblins ahead. Surprise was her tactic, and she hoped it would work. She stopped short when she saw more than she expected, though; At least half a dozen goblins and a goblin leader, ten times larger than its cohorts. The leader wielded a large spiked club and stronger armor than the others, and towered over them in both stature and physical prowess. Deciding weapon would be more effective than fangs against this brute, Selena turned human drew her sword from its sheath, her clothes changing from her casual skirt and top to leather leggings, her usual steel-toed boots, cotton tunic under leather mail. She waited for Kiani to follow before attempting to kill these vermin.

Leader first Kiani thought as she sent Selena an image Selena herself taking on the goblins, while Kiani leapt over them to take down their leader. A fallen leader always leaves it's followers at a loss for what to do next

She then nodded towards Selena, Leapt into the tree beside them and made her way silently to a point above the goblin leaders head.

Slightly taken by surprise by the sudden images that entered her head, Selena nodded in agreement and went for the leader anyway. Charging with her sword in hand, she made for the towering monster, and as it raised its spiked club to attack her before she reached it, she quickly dodged the brute by rolling out of the way to the left, faking her attack and instead sliced the head off of the goblin standing to the leader's right. Being the unintelligent creature it was, the giant took a moment to register what had just happened, a perfect opportunity for Kiani to get her shot in as Selena dodged the onslaught of goblin cohorts coming her way after the decapitation. She grinned and jumped an in-human distance away from the leader, causing the smaller goblins to run towards her.

Kiani shook her head, but jumped anyway at the perfect oportunity that Selena gave her. She had her sword draw and leapt off of her tree branch, right at the leader, with the sword pointed down in a stabbing kind of action. Her sword went right through the goblin leaders head, as she landed herself next to him and was already pulling out a set of heavy knives.
