From WWE.Com

Prior to his opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship on RAW, Chavo Guerrero dedicated the match to his uncle, Eddie. Unfortunately for Chavo, he fell just short. After the match on Unlimited, an upset Chavo quit his job as a wrestler

DO you really think it's true or just story line. I mean yeah Chavo really NEEDS to take time off to get everything back in order in his head and his life since Eddie left. But in all honesty.. I hope this is just temporary. It would be a damned shame if there wasn't always a Guerrero wrestling in the WWE!

Your thoughts on the situation if you please?!

He can't quite just yet. Look he's a good wrestler and he should be better off on Smackdown instead of Raw cause of the weight disadavantage. If Smackdown gets him back, then he could go for the Cruiserweight Championship, Tag Team with Rey Mysterio, U.S. Championship just like his uncle, or, if possible, the World Heavyweight championship. He has better opportunities in Smackdown then Raw. If he can't go to Smackdown, then he has to continue on until he does become a champion.

I think it's just a storyline, and Chavo will probably come back later on. He almost had that match won though.

What a punk, man. I predict Chavo shows up on SD, or returns as Kerwin White.

^keep in mind he was doing that when he feuded with Shelton

now as for this, I hope that it's not true as well, I will agree with Golightly because he does need a break (losing someone really close can be really REALLY traumatizing), let's just hope it's temporary because he's too good, I mean he has a lot of talent, a LOT of talent that's been going to waste ever since he started in RAW, he should go back to Smackdown! and go for the Cruiser Championship again

ya know, if i'm not the only one thinking this (and please tell me if i am) but if eddie were still alive he would tell chavo not to quit nad chavo knows that. it HAS to be a story line.

Its a storyline since they didn't put: "chavo guerrero and the wwe have come to terms on his release. We wish him the best of luck in future endeavors" Like they always do.

Not necessarily... Shawn Michaels has in his book about when he wanted to quit before, and Vince convinced him to just take an extended leave of absence. In effect the same thing, but he was still officially part of the roster. Now i personally think this is all storyline so that Chavo can have a break to be with family. God knows he needs it. But i wouldn't be too surprised if he shows up again around Survivor Series, or even Summerslam.

The interview with JR didn't change my mind either. Very well thought out and scripted, but it's just not the voice of someone lost. Think about it...this is literally all he has known for his entire life. You don't just calmly walk away from that. Not to mention that the family would probably beat him senseless for the dishonor it would bring. I hope he doesn't come back to the Kerwin shtick, but i won't discount that either. I'm just hopefull that he can find peace and be able to perform the way we all know he can.

Actually Ronin is right. My brother and I did agree that Chavo hasn't taken time off to properly grieve for Eddie. he just dove into work.

Chavo is the future World Heavyweigh Real Estate Champion of the WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD!

I crack myself up. xd
