G-Squad VampireX *blinks and thinks back in time about a good 8 years ago when he first watched Aeris die before his very eyes by Sephiroth's sword.*
Gah.. that song is playing in my head now. I recovered the white materia Aeris had dropped from her hair pin thing.
*shakes head and blinks* You're either lying or remembering wrong. You CAN'T recover the holy materia. As for the haters coming in and saying good riddance, what's the POINT? All you're going to do is piss off the fans in here. CUT IT OUT. Nobody cares if you were happy, this is a thread to REMEMBER her and ENJOY her.

I didn't play the game for a week after her death scene. I know it had to advance the plotline and Sephiroth really can be just that much of a b*****d, but I still liked her.

Aww...When Aeris/th died it was so sad crying ,but that added a good dramatic effect to FFVII,thats probably one of the things that kept it alive so long.

who could possibly forget the anguish of watching aeris/ aerith die at the
evil hands of sephiroth?!
has anyone here read "maiden who travelled the planet"?
its a web novel about aeris after she dies, and who she goes thru the lifestream.
very good read.

Taylor_Calastadd onjay3000 hhmmm... heres MY opinion.. (gets flame shield up) aeris dying was the best thing to happen to the game... with out her dying, the game would just be- another game that was ok... instead of the best game in the multi-verse. It just added to the story, and gave it more to work with!

WHY COULDN'T CAIT SITH HAVE DIED HUH?!!! THEN NO ONE WOULD BE SAD!
Besides Cait Sith wasn't even a real person. 3nodding If Cait Sith died instead, the story would be, "Wtf, now we all worship a stuffed cat". It doesn't work. If Aerith didn't didn't die, then the game would be boring. it would be, "Wait, why are WE doing this again?". I'll tell you why, because it's to avenge Aerith and not let her creation of Holy be for naught. The element of Motive is needed.

Aerith's death was sad. The first time I played, I panicked. I was also pissed, depressed, and a mix of lots of other emotions. I kinda got over it after I got to see how badly Sephiroth died(exploding multiple times and then being slaughtered with Omnislash).

I hated Sephiroth so much for killing Aerith. Just leave to him to have a weapon that makes its victims unresurrectable.

I was pissed when Sephiroth killed Aeris.....she was so innocent, and sweet (like Momiji from Fruits Basket).
