We have a penchant for films... the good ones, the classic, the hilarious, and the simple and nasty - the kind you shouldn't watch at all because you know it's going to suck. But you do anyway, for insane curiosity.

So here's the page for it.
The title of the movie... and if you really want to, the name of the director and whomever was on it.
Then what you thought of the movie. Did you like it? Was it funny for you? Entertaining? Or did you hate it from the beginning?

No matter if it's a new movie or if it's an old one... provided you've just watch it at least a couple of days ago!

Grave of the Vampire

This film was in the 1979 - very old!
On the scary side - I'd say a whooping zero! but it was funny in places.
Not to be considered if you're looking for something deep and worth while.
Not even if you want something very entertaining.
The only reason I watch it was because of how it was made. Funny the way the did things back then.

We've just watched the INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN... mmm... made sometime around 1977... I think.

It sucked! BIG TIME!! domokun domokun domokun

Let's put it this way: we got it from blockbuster online since we like watching movies with our dinner... it's one of those must-see-horror movies that's either a classic or a cult-cinema.... but what the hell were we thinking?

That's it! All those movies are being systematically taken out of my list!! And no-one is gonna tell me otherwise.

(The "melting skin" from the incredible melting man was somewhat interesting but disgusting to see... and after a while you just got sick of it... and the worst bit was the old couple in the car... man!! it re-affirms my fears of getting old... that and the "incredible" Dr. Nelson.... my pinky has more expression than him... even without going to drama school!!)

Repli-Kate

Ok, I really don't know who the actors and actresses were but the movie was a great laugh!

Now - guys, if you think that your dream girl is someone, for lack of a better description, is just like you but with... you know, stuff that you like, I think you really should watch this movie!

a touch on molecular biology... considering the movie is about the lab-tech guy who accidentally clones someone...

I was thinking, how could you possibly accidentally clone anything?? You gotta watch and see... it's silly but I suppose accidents do happen.

"10 minutes of silnce!" - that was a great line and it was just funny in an "uh!" kinda way

mmm... ENEMY MINE with Dennis Quaid when he was young... uhm... more drama than sci-fi... and more slow and pointless than you might want... but it starts with some very funny lines... like... "in the 21st century, when all the nations of the world where at peace, the space frontier was the next battleground"... or something like that....

The Crow

Brandon Lee... and other people.

It's one of my favourite films.
We've watched it again today because we've finally bought a copy in dvd... I don't know what to do with my VHS copy now... maybe I'll keep it and a vhs player as well..

anyway, the movie. Dunno if everyone of you (those that actually comes around here and reads this stuff crying ) knows about it.

So.

Eric and Shelly get's murdered on a hollow's eve. Eric comes back to life a year later to exact bloody vengeance!

It's based on a comic novel by James O'Barr.... its definitely done (almost) religiously (nothing can ever be exact when it comes to such things - but this is the closest).

Catch Me If You Can

Today, I finally saw the film.
I'm not really fond of based on real-life stories... but this one was pretty good.

It's about a kid called Frank who eventually because one of the world's foremost authority on Bank fraud.

Love catch me if you can (John Williams wrote the music. Check out the John Williams thread in the music/composers forum ninja )

Memoirs of a Geisha (also brought to life by John Williams, Yo-Yo Ma, and Isach Proman)

7 Academy Award nominations for this movie! Stunning cinementography, gorgeous music, and a very moving movie altogether. It will make you love life. (not classified as a chick flick in case you are wondering.)
