biggrin Reminds me of the current issues with the president. We've got all these lil' kids running around saying "Bush sucks". Ask them why they think that, they say "Because he started a war!" They fail to realize that our dictatorship is not solely based on ONE PERSON. Everything, from descisions to go to war, to making laws, has to be passed throught the president AND the political cabinet. So Bush isn't the only idiot in the government, it's the WHOLE DAMN GOVERNMENT.
Ask these kids what a political cabinet is and all you get is "...medicine cabinet in the white house?"
Ugh... Now onto these crazy, mentally blind kids.
By allowing illegal immigrants into the country, you are allowing the country to become overcrowded, and possibly infested with new foreign deseases. Would you like it if tons of new immagrants came to the country, all of them with SARS? Probably not. Upon registering and becoming a LEGAL immagrant, you are checked for any viruses that could potentially harm the country. If anyone was allowed to come to the country without being checked, a whole new wave of problems would be born.
Also, upon coming to the country and registering, the government holds all your personal data, so that if you decide to go shoot up a bank or kidnap teenage girls, rape them, and hide them in your basement, the police can identify you and go on a hunt for you.
If immagrants did not register with the government, do you know how many more dangerous criminals would be out there, raping and killing to their perverse heart's content? All because no one knows who they are or where to find them?
In situations like this, one should think more about the consiquences of the action, not just about allowing "poor innocent foreigners" a new and slightly more peacefull place to live.
