Here is where you come to roll for stats and select what abilities your dragon has.
Below are the rules, how to roll for stats, how abilities work and how to select them. If you have any questions, Contact Nefarious Muse.
Note:if you don't rp a month, you will keep your current stats but wont be able to roll for new ones. you must RP 300 or more words a month to keep stats unlocked.
Note 2:Things are still being developed like the battle system ect so things may change a bit in the future.

gaia_diamond Stats and Abilities are only for those who roleplay their Dragons.
gaia_diamond Stats are rolled for and is explained below.
gaia_diamond Abilities are directly tied to the Dragon's species/heritage, in other words if your Dragon is a Hybrid between a Pyrrath (Fire) and a Crythar (Ice), it will have the availability to have abilities from both alignments. However if your dragon is a Crythar (Ice) only than it can't use/learn Pyrrath (Fire) abilities.
gaia_diamond The Omni Species is the only one who can have/learn abilities form any available element.

gaia_diamond All stats start out from the same rolling process no matter if its a teen or an adult, no matter if its from a breeding or an event or custom.
gaia_diamond This thread is for stat rolling and abilities only please.
gaia_diamond As always, all Gaia TOS and shop rules apply.
gaia_diamond Staff will update a list below with what dragon has stats periodically.
gaia_diamond Keep track of your Dragon's Stats and abilities in your own journal, not here.
gaia_diamond Abilities can be traded out later for other abilities via items from the Magic Shop or putting your dragon through Schools or Training, but the # of abilities will always be the same, either 2, 3 or 4 per species specs.
gaia_diamond You cannot train/give certain abilities to a Dragon that does not have either heritage for that element set or is not an Omni.

Stat Rolling

Heres how it works, follow these steps to roll your Dragons starting stats.

The stats aren't terribly complex but a great thing to add to RP with your Dragon and breeding your Dragon and in certain job classes. Stats are required to Race, Battle or run Gauntlets with your Dragon or participate in Arena events held by staff.

The stats are as follows:
HP: (Hit points, effects how much damage you can endure before unconscious in battles and gauntlets)
STR: (Strength, effect damage of physical attacks in battles and how much haul you get from certain job classes)
DEF: (Defense, effects how much of raw damage you take from either physical or magical attacks in battles)
STM: (Stamina, effects outcomes of racing either in flight or on foot and yield of certain job classes)
INT: ( Intelligence, effects perception of traps in the gauntlets and outcome of certain job classes)
MAG: (Magic, effects how much damage Magical or Ability attacks do and how well you sense Magic, as well as effect the outcome of certain job classes)
MANA: (well, mana, effects how many times you can use special attacks or magic in battles or gauntlets)
FT: (Fertility, Effects how many babies end up with that specific Dragon's traits more dominantly over the other parent)

Here is how to roll for stats:
1. Copy and paste the stat rolling form.
2. Decide from the Abilities list, what abilities your Dragon will have, This can only be changed later by using certain items from the Magic Shop or completing specific schools/training. (more on that in the Schools/training threads)
3. Fill out the rest of the form with the Dragon's information (Note: Dragon must be certed and must be at least a teen stage to roll for stats)
4. With your post, Roll 8 d6 (The stats lock at a minimum of 3, so 3 and up are kept for stats, anything under 3 is automatically a 3)
5. Select which number goes to what stat, thats right! You get to choose What stat gets what number from the resulting d6 rolls. (Please roll all 8 d6 with the one post, not 8 posts with 1 d6 roll with each)
6. Edit your post in this thread with the numbers for each stat in the place you have chosen.
7. Copy your stat sheet and take it to your journal and post it in the same post as the perspective dragon it belongs to. Tadaaaaa!! Your Dragon now has Stats and abilities.

Abilities and their systems

Here is what the abilities are and how to use them (Note this is still under development pending the completion of the battle/race/gauntlet dice systems and may change later on.)

gaia_diamond Pure Omni Dragons can only have 2 abilities.
gaia_diamond Purebred other Species of Dragons can have 3 abilities.
gaia_diamond Hybrid Dragons between 2 or more species can have 4 abilities.

gaia_diamond Starter Abilities list: gaia_diamond

Omni (Adaptive, Elemental Versatility)

Elemental barrier – Dragon generates a special barrier that lessens damage done by abilities, roll 1 d12 to see by how much DEF it adds for 3 turns, Uses 5 Mana.
Prismatic Pulse – A multi-elemental burst that deals varied damage Roll 1 d8 to see how much damage, Uses 4 Mana.
Versatile Mind – Boosts INT and MAG by 5 points when facing challenges in Gauntlets, lasts for duration of gauntlet, uses 5 Mana.
Trait Mimicry – Copy one ability from a nearby dragon for 3 turns, able to use the selected ability at it's normal cost to Mana, does not overtake any of the user's esisting ability slots, Uses 5 Mana.
Balance Surge – Restores moderate HP and MANA by harmonizing internal energies to self and allies, roll one d12 to see by how much, Uses 5 Mana.

Terravyn (Earth & Flora)
Rootgrasp – Immobilizes enemies with entangling vines (The opponant lose 1 turn) Uses 5 Mana.
Stonehide – Temporarily boosts DEF by 5 by hardening the scales for 2 turns, Uses 3 Mana.
Verdant Bloom – Heals allies for 1 d12 roll of HP, Uses 4 Mana.
Tremor Step – Causes a localized quake, disrupting traps in the current area of a gauntlet, Uses 5 Mana.
Fertile Ground – Heals User and allies in the area by 4 points over the course of 3 turns, Uses 4 Mana.

Pyrrath (Fire)
Blazing Breath – High-damage fire attack roll 1 d20, have to get a 12 or higher to land the hit, Damage is 25% of what your MAG stat is, Uses 10 Mana.
Inferno Aura – Damages nearby enemies over 3 turns, roll 1d4 per turn for the next 3 turns (forget to roll and it ends the Aura) Uses 4 Mana.
Heat Mirage – Creates illusions to evade attacks, roll 1 d10, if roll is 6 or higher Than it is successful and user avoids damage for 1 turn, Uses 3 Mana .
Cinder Scales – Raises defense stat temporarily by 3 points, Uses 3 Mana
Flamekindle – Regenerates Mana by absorbing their own heat, roll 1 d10 to see by how much, Only usable once per battle/gauntlet, does not use Mana.

Zephyrae (Air)
Gale Burst – Pushes enemies back with a powerful wind, Causes opponent to lose 1 turn, Uses 4 Mana.
Sky Dancer – Boosts STM during races, roll 1 d6 to see by how much, can only use once per race.
Whisper Drift – Detect hidden traps, Uses 3 Mana.
Featherlight – Reduces damage taken, roll 1 d10 to see by how much, uses 4 Mana.
Wind Echo – Deals 1 d6 damage to opponent, uses 4 Mana

Tideris (Water)
Aqua Surge – A powerful wave-based attack, roll 1d20 and get 12 or above to land the hit, Damage is equal to 25% of the MAG stat, Uses 8 Mana.
Bubble Shield – Temporary DEF boost via water barrier raising DEF by 4 points for 3 turns, Uses 4 Mana.
Current Rider – Enhances STM in aquatic races and Gauntlets raising it by 4 points for the duration of the race/gauntlet, uses 4 Mana.
Mist Veil – Conceals dragon from sight for 2 turns, causes oncoming attacks to miss, Uses 4 Mana.
Hydro Harvest – Improves farming yield adding a plus 3 to the yield for that roll on that day.


Crythar (Ice)

Frostbite Fang – Does 1 d8 of damage while causing the opponent to lose 3 HP per turn for the next 4 turns, Uses 4 Mana.
Glacial Armor – Boosts DEF by 4 and reduces fire damage to HP by 4, Uses 5 Mana.
Snowstep – Makes movement through gauntlets not trigger traps for 3 turns, Uses 3 Mana .
Icicle Barrage – Ranged powerful magical attack, Roll 1 d20 and get 12 or higher to land the hit, Damage is 25% of user's MAG stat uses 10 Mana.
Winter’s Gift – Restore 8 points of MANA to the user and their allies, Can only be used once per battle/gauntlet, costs nothing.

Voltaris (Electric)
Thunderclap – Disorients opponents causing them to lose 1 turn, Uses 3 Mana.
Static Field – Disrupts enemy Ability use for 2 turns, Uses 4 Mana .
Pulse Dash – Gives user a short range movement faster than the eye can see and causes attacks to miss for 1 turns in battle, Uses 3 Mana. If used during a race, Gives the user STM boost of 5 points for duration of race, uses 4 Mana.
Circuit Mind – Restores 5 points of MANA to the user or makes the difficult of a puzzle in a gauntlet reduce by 2 points, one usable one time per battle/gauntlet
Spark Nest – Crates an electric charged area around opponent causing 2 points of damage for 4 turns, uses 5 Mana.

Astraen (Cosmic)
Starflare – Cosmic beam attack doing heavy damage, Roll 1 d20 and get a 12 or higher to land the git, Damage is 25% of the user's MAG stat, Uses 10 Mana.
Gravity Shift – Causes opponent to float in mid air, unable to use physical attacks for 2 turns but can use abilities, Uses 4 Mana.
Voidstep – Teleport short distances causing attacks to miss for 1 turn, Uses 3 Mana.
Celestial Insight – Boosts INT by 5 points for trap detection in gauntlets, can only be used once per gauntlet, costs 5 mana
Nebula Bond – Restores 5 Points of MANA to user, however Restores 3 points of HP to opponant, costs no Mana and can only be used once per battle.

Lumeris (Light)
Radiant Beam – Piercing light attack with heavy damage, Roll 1 d20 and get 12 or higher to land the hit, Damage is 25% of user's MAG stat, costs 10 Mana to use.
Halo Shield – Reduces incoming damage by 5 points, Uses 4 Mana.
Illumind – Reveals hidden objects or traps in a gauntlet based off of the INT stat, for stat of 3 reveals 1 object or trap, for 4-10 reveals 2 obects or traps (Or both) for 11+ reveals 3 of both objects or traps hidden, uses 5 Mana.
Solar Bloom – Boosts crop yield from farming by 5, used during the rolling for that job class.
Purity Pulse – Nullifies enemy ability effects that do damage to the user over severak turns or impairs them in any way, Uses 5 mana

Umbrith (Dark)
Shadow Rend – High-damage stealth attack, Roll 1 d20 and get 12 or higher to land the hit, Opponen rolls 1 d10 and get 6 or higher to detect you, if they do not detect you, Damage is 25% of Users MAG stat, If opponent detects you successfully, This attack does 1 d12 +4, uses 10 Mana .
Veil of Night – Conceals your Dragon and it's allies from being attacked by something in the gauntlet for 3 turns, even if battle has already begun, Uses 5 Mana.
Soul Drain – Steals 2 HP and 1 Mana from the target over the course of 5 turns and gives it to the user of this ability, Uses 3 Mana.
Dread Presence – Lowers enemy DEF stat by 5 for 3 turns, Uses 5 Mana.
Eclipse Of Shadows – The opponent's own shadow holds their feet to the ground and causes the target or targets (up to 3) to be unable to move for 2 Turns, Not being able to launch physical attacks, leaving them with only abilities for the duration, uses 4 Mana .
