[Who’s There?
Someone is watching you. You haven’t seen them yet, but an unnerving feeling grips you. It tells you that someone is lurking, sizing you up. Do they mean mischief? Is it a new friend who is just shy about introducing themselves?
Should you run away or confront them? Do you know what they want or do you wonder why someone could possibly find you so interesting? Or was it nothing it all?

Write an RP responding to the above prompt telling us about whether someone is out there or not. Is a friend about to pull a prank? (Nothing nefarious has to happen. As always it's your choice in what direction to take the prompt.)

Feeling cooped up, Ardianth decided to take a long. leisurely walk in the crisp air. He knew it was chilly, those who have passed by his home are hurrying as if cold. One who went by he saw their breath as the passed by his large pane glass window. He stepped forward and pressed his nose against the cold glass and sighed. This time of year he loved. It renewed him, gave him energy and made him feel alive.

Stepping outside, he breathed deeply and slowly exhaled. The cold air filled his lungs and to him was invigorating. Shaking his head a bit he pondered which direction to go. He had several options available to him.

If he went west, he would eventually arrive in the next town, many shops there that varied from the one closest to him. If he went east, he would go to the town he was most familiar as it was but a short walk to get there. If he went north, he would find himself encumbered by mountain passes which some were not passable, he would find himself in a predicament if he was not careful. If he went south, he would eventually come upon the lake which this time of year the wind would be very chilly coming off it.

He decided to go to the familiar town and peruse the shops and stalls. He didn't have a list of specific things he needed, but he would see what was available. He just wanted to stretch his legs and feel the cool wind.

As he walked, he enjoyed the weather, the wind was whipping around him and its chill hit his back, and he shivered in delight. His thoughts were jumbled, he thought of something and then another thought took its place. He wasn't in a hurry, nor was he particularly sure what he was doing. All he knew was he felt the need to take a walk and enjoy the cool, crisp, clean air and maybe pick up a few items he may or may not need.

Voices came to him on the breeze; he was very close to the town. His eyes began to scan the area, looking to see what what was and who was where. He always had to check; it was something he just did.

He noticed that one of the regular sellers of fresh delicious fruit had set up his stall. Thankfully before he left, he did grab both of his bags to carry back in case he decided to purchase items. He stopped and perused the selection. His eyes wandered over the fruit. The stall owner asked how he was, and he replied very well thank you. "How are you?" to be polite. The stall owner answered and he nodded absent mindedly.

He decided on some red and green apples and to give himself a treat he also wanted some of the melons that were on the stall shelves. He got the stall owner's attention after he was done helping another customer and politely asked for his choices. As the stall owner was bagging up his order, he suddenly felt a chill down his neck. He scanned around him but saw nothing out of the ordinary. He felt like he was being watched but he couldn't see anyone who was.

The stall owner cleared his throat to get his attention to which he said "Apologies I thought I saw a friend" with that he finished the transaction and thanked the stall owner. He then moved on slowly checking out each table or stall that he passed. The feeling of being watch dissipated as suddenly as it began. He relaxed, his hooves hitting the cold dirt and his breath coming in a steady rhythm.

The next stall was the same only this one had cheese and a few meats. He loved cheese. He stopped and looked over the different cheeses. One stood out, the sharp cheese. He loved the tang on his tongue. He waited his turn as there were two others ahead of him. The stall owner approached with a smile on his face and asked how he could be of service. Of course, he smiled in return and said, "Sharp cheese, half wheel please" "I would also like some of that small meat that is shaped in a stick about a quarter of it if you please' the stall owner nodded and said "Of course right away"

A chill ran up his spine to his mane, and he felt the hairs stand up on his head. He felt a uneasy feeling sweeps over his body and he didn't like that feeling at all. He slowly looked around taking his time and nothing stood out to him, yet the feeling remained. The stall owner was finishing up with his order; he paid and put the items in his small bag he carried for meat and cheese. He was particular about keeping certain foods away from one another.

Nodding his head in thanks, he moved on. His steps more measured, the air around him felt off and he wasn't in the mood to keep perusing the stalls. Although he hadn't been out to this town in quite a while and needed to stock up on some supplies. His mind wandered to his list as he walked. The next stall that caught his attention was the one he came here for. This stall had fabrics of all kinds as well as handmade items. He slowly stopped and looked around. There were fabrics of different materials, every shade of colors imaginable and the thread to stitch with were available in various colors. He wanted a soft but warm cloak he can wear in this chilly weather. He had to be careful of his wings, but he knew he could find something or order something to be made for him.

As he looked, he saw a cloak of Orange/Red/Brown and asked if he could drape it over his back to see how it would fit. The stall owner had his helper come around and maneuver it on him, so it fit perfectly. The feel of the fabric was cool and soft. It suited him well; he thought it was perfect. He told the helper he wished to purchase and did so with a contented sigh. The stall owner was very happy with his purchase and bid him a very good day as he turned and left.

He had found the items on his list and decided to stop by and eat some lunch before returning home. The food at this one place was delicious, cheap and very filling. He ordered the stew with bread and water to drink. It made his stomach feel warm. The feeling slowly spread all over and he sighed to himself. The atmosphere was cheery; the space was warm and cozy the fire was close enough to him that he felt the heat coming off it. The other patrons were chatting amongst themselves, the serving girl came to him asking if he needed anything else, he said "May I have some more water please?" "I am finished my meal thank you" as he finished speaking, she nodded before leaving and a short time later returned with some more water for him.

Finishing his water as he watched the fire he again felt that cool chill and looked around and spotted Isdis watching him with those deep blue eyes. She was tiny, but her coloring was easy to spot if you were looking. He smiled to himself and nodded to her.

Idris was having fun following Ardianth. She silently followed him as he moved into the town headed towards the sellers' stalls. She had smiled to herself. He was surly sometimes, but he could sense things, she would have fun playing hide and seek with him until she wanted him to see her.

She was hungry so she followed him to the tavern and sat on the other side of the room but within his eye sight if he cared to find her. She ordered the stew, bread and a mug of sweet juice. She didn't care for water in places like this, it tasted weird to her.

After she had finished eating she sat there watching him until he saw her and nodded. She giggled nodded back and got up and left.
