Byron had a relatively normal life as a child. He was an active boy and enrolled in several sports included soccer and rugby. He also grew very fascinated with American football and even played in a junior league in Manchester. Upon his eleventh birthday, the family received a surprise visitor in the form of a Hogwarts governor who explained that Byron was actually of magical blood and invited to attend the magical school. At first his parents thought it was a prank, but after a display of magic, they discussed the option with their son. Byron decided he wanted to attend the school and explore this magical new world. xxx𝒮𝒸𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓁 𝒴𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈xxx xxxFirst year Byron attended Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor house for his bravery and fortitude. He joined a lot of clubs and even tried out for the Quidditch team, though he didn't know anything about the sport. He landed on the reserve team but learned a lot about the sport. xxxSecond year, he tried out for the team again, but still didn't make the main team. That didn't matter much to him, he was just excited to be playing the sport. He made many more friends, including a bright young witch named Lavender Nightingale. xxxIn his third year, Byron finally made the main team for Gryffindor and played as a beater. He also started his electives and discovered his favorite subject, Cursebreaking. xxxGoing into fourth year, puberty was kind to Byron and he had grown almost a foot over the summer. Tall and strong, he continued to play for the Gryffindor team. He also dated a girl named Teresa from his year and house, but that relationship didn't last very long. xxxFifth year was a little more difficult because he was facing O.W.L. exams at the end of the year. There were several subjects he was struggling with, but his friend and crush Lavender helped him study and he managed to pass most of his classes. xxxDropping his bad classes leading into sixth year, Byron was able to focus on his favorite subjects and balance his Quidditch games. It was also during sixth year that he started to dated Lavender after a very awkward attempt to ask her out. xxxSeventh year was spent in study again, this time preparing for the N.E.W.T.s at the end of the school year. With help from his girlfriend, he was able to score all passing grades on his N.E.W.T.s. xxx𝒜𝒹𝓊𝓁𝓉𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx xxxAfter graduating, Byron took a job working at Gringott's Bank as a curse breaker but his job was very boring to him. Mostly he just sat around and waited for some cursed item to be brought in. So he quit after a few months and took a job as a personal cursebreaker working for an expedition company. He left the UK for a year, corresponding with his girlfriend back at Hogwarts. When she graduated, he returned to the UK to try to convince her to travel with him. She wanted to stay in the UK and become a Herbologist. Since they seemed to have differing opinions about their goals in live, they broke up and went their separate ways. However, after less than a year, Byron couldn't live without her.
xxxSurprising her at her greenhouse, Byron proposed to her and she accepted. He took on a traveling cursebreaker job from Gringott's, which had a little more excitement in life. The two married and a couple years later, Lavender gave birth to their first child, a beautiful baby girl named Charlotte. When Charlotte was four, Byron learned about a posting available at Hogwarts for a Cursebreaking teacher and he proposed the idea to Lav. She was also wanting to discuss a Herbology posting at school, so they both applied for the spot.
xxxDuring the middle of their first year working at Hogwarts, Lav discovered she was pregnant with their second child. They surprised Charlotte with a big sister shirt and celebrated over their winter break. In the beginning of that summer, their son Jackson Aldrich was born.

Her family are both magical and they live in a small community along the sea. She was taught from a young age to respect nature and enjoyed gardening with her mother. Her sister Violet was born when Lavender was three and Poppy followed when Lav was seven. Lavender also had her first show of magic when she was young, accidentally healing a bird's broken wing when it flew into the greenhouse window. xxx𝒮𝒸𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓁 𝒴𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈xxx xxxWhen she attended Hogwarts, Lavender was sorted into Slytherin because of her cleverness and resourcefulness. She had rather hoped for Hufflepuff because of their matched love for greenery, but she brought a certain element of foliage to the Slytherin common room all the same. xxxIn her second year, Lavender joined the Herbology club and also set up her own little garden to grow vegetables for the kitchen. She also discovered that she was terrible at potions when she destroyed not one but two cauldrons. xxxThird year she branched out into electives and discovered she had a natural talent for watercolor paintings. She also developed a crush on her friend Byron in the year before her. xxxShe spent a lot of time in her fourth year helping Byron with his studies since he was stressing over O.W.L. exams. She really enjoyed their time together. xxxIn fifth year, Byron asked her to be his girlfriend, though he struggled so hard with it. That endeared him to her even more and she happily accepted. Her O.W.L.s didn't go too well and she failed a few classes. But she passed the ones that mattered to her. xxxHer sixth year was spent focusing on her classes, growing her garden more, and spending time with her boyfriend. She was sad that it was his last year at school since that meant they'd have to be apart for a long year. xxxThe last year of Hogwarts was spent focusing mostly on studies so that she could pass the classes she continued. It also helped distract her from missing her boyfriend. She did very well on her exams though so it paid off. xxx𝒜𝒹𝓊𝓁𝓉𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx xxxAfter graduating, she looked forward to a life with Byron but he wanted her to travel with him on his adventures and she just wanted to settle down and be a Herbologist. They got into a fight and she broke up with him. As soon as he left, she wanted to take it back, but he had stopped answering her. So she switched her focus to setting up her Herbology business. A few months after Byron left, he returned to her greenhouse and proposed to her on the spot. Lavender was taken aback and immediately accepted. He took a job closer to home and the two moved in together. A couple years after their wedding, Lavender gave birth to their first child, Charlotte.
xxxShe knew that Byron wasn't enjoying his job at Gringott's and so she looked for other options to help. That's when she discovered that Hogwarts had a position for Herbology professor open. When she went to propose the change to Byron, he wanted to talk to her about a similar posting for Cursebreaking teacher. The two applied and were approved.
xxxIt was about three quarters of the way through the first semester when Lavender began to notice some similar symptoms and when she had the opportunity, she visited the hospital wing. It was confirmed that she was pregnant and she revealed that to her husband. Over winter break, they announced to the rest of their family they were expecting their second and at the beginning of summer, they welcomed Jackson Aldrich to the family.

Most of the time, she stays in her parents' room, but Lottie had taken to exploring the school as she got older, fostering her curious nature.
