.:. History .:.
A long time ago, the Mansha Colony was thriving and prospering in a small oasis to the south of the desert, near the sea. The colony grew and grew, until one day the water supply from the oasis ran dry. They could not drink the salty water that came from the sea, and all the plants that gave them life and shade vanished quickly without the water to support them. The Colony suffered, losing members to starvation and thirst. Their king, who had watched their suffering, vanished in the night, leaving the colony to fend for itself.
Many new leaders attempted to take control, fighting over the right to the throne. It drove the colony into factions, each being lead by its own king. Each faction fought bitterly in an attempt to gain control of the limited resources that remained in the desolate Mansha lands. The infighting caused the colony to dwindle further into just a few families. They lost their homes, their families, and their heritage. One family stood up against the infighting, and with their small family took control of the remaining members of the colony and fashioned a new one - the Alrihla. Under the leadership of Cesaret, the colony will begin to heal.
.:. Culture .:.
The desert is a harsh place for any creature to live, but there are species that seem to thrive in the desert conditions. These are species that are admired by the colony for their resilience: the Saloli'tsula and the Inadu'daksi. These ideals are a tie to the old colony, the Manshu, and is one of the few pieces of culture that the Alrihla shares with it. Saloli'tsula: These small creatures are well regarded for their ability to adapt to change, and their willingness to survive in the harsh conditions of the desert. They are seen as nimble, and quick-witted, often able to outsmart or outmaneuver. Those who bond themselves to a Saloli'tsula are seen in the same light. Inadu'daksi: One of the oldest species in the desert, and often one of the most dangerous - even above larger creatures such as the ma’ome. They are seen as an enduring species, not quick to change, but able to survive nonetheless. Those who bond themselves to an Inadu'daksi are seen as strong-willed and dependable.

Life/Traditions
The Journey: To be considered an adult, all young ones must go on a journey out into the desert on their own. They must have a familiar when they return, either a Jerboa, or a Snake. This speaks to their personality, and their role in the colony.
Nomadic: The colony is always on the move, and travel through the desert. Occasionally they may meet up with other tribes, and share a meal, news, etc, and trade any items/members/etc.
