Michael Cole is shown waiting backstage for an interview.

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the new King of the Canvas and number one contender for the WWFG World Heavyweight championship, Drako Damone.

Drako steps into view, standing next to Cole.

Cole: Congratulations on winning the King of the Canvas tournament for the first time in your illustrious career. How are you feeling going into the main event here tonight against the very man that ended your second World Heavyweight championship reign?

Drako pushes his hair back from his face. "You know, Michael Cole, I've done just about everything there is to do here in the WWFG. Money in the Bank, won it. Rumbles, been in them. Main eventing WrestleMania? Done that, along with just about every other event you can name in the past five years, including this one. King of the Canvas has now been checked off the list. Can you think of anything I haven't done here?"

Cole shakes his head. "You've pretty much done it all."

Drako smirks. "Feels that way, doesn't it? But you see, there is something I haven't had the chance to do. Ever since I came back, there's one thing that's been at the forefront of my mind. See, Michael, I've been champion overall longer than anyone else. I've taken on everyone. From my best friend to my biggest rival. I've beaten everyone there is to beat. Salem Croft, Bison, Cartwright, Cyrus, Trent, Hiro, the Butler, Bad Boy, I've beaten them all. I retired Nuke Fusion at WrestleMania in hell in a cell. I preserved my career at the cost of his. But do you know what I haven't done, the one person I haven't beaten? The reigning, defending, World Heavyweight champion. Avari and I had one match for the world heavyweight championship and on that night, he was the better man."

Cole: That begs the question of how you will handle the match tonight against a man you've yet to defeat.

"You notice that I said, 'on that night?' He was better on one night. Many men have one good night. I have consistently been the best in this ring, night after night, year after year. Last year, I came out here to save him from Omen ending his career. Me and Omen had some problems, that isn't fully resolved either. Avari was out for a while and I found myself quite busy coming into this year, you know, retiring his dad. While he was winning the Royal Rumble, I was fighting for my career. Where most people would have taken some time off after going through hell in a cell, I came right out here and entered the King of the Canvas tournament. I won that, fighting through injuries Nuke gave me across those three matches. Busted ribs and internal damage didn't stop me from adding another accolade to my long list. Tonight, I'm healthy. I stand here as the King., just like I promised you all. But if you know me, Michael, you know that's not enough."

Cole: I imagine it's not. Tonight is the last SummerSlam, the last show under the WWFG Banner. The last time this world title will be defended. Having been here so long, does that add more pressure onto you in the main event tonight?

Drako: "Cole, my life here has been nonstop pressure. I came in after my brother was well established. I came into this business and this company with two older brothers that had been multiple time world champions all over. Here in WWFG, Jarel was established. He was the legend. I was his little brother, forced into battles that he started and stuck in his shadow. There's no bigger pressure than having a 6'10" 328 pound older brother with an undefeated streak in hell in a cell that innovates his own matches when even that wasn't enough. This man was called the Godfather of Hardcore. Then he has a twin with the same level of dominance and a tendency to turn on his family members. All of my career has been pressure, first to live up to the Damone name, then to step out of the shadows of my older siblings. But as we stand here, I've more than done that. I orchestrated their retirements. I shattered their records here. So do I feel more pressure about tonight being the last show and this being the final match for the WWFG World Heavyweight championship? Nope, this is the norm for me."

Cole: Really? You don't feel the pressure of making history here tonight?

Drako rolls his eyes. "I make history regularly. I hold the record for the most combined days as World Heavyweight champion here. I've already made history. I'm from the Damone family, and I have the most stacked resume of all the Damones in WWFG history. I was champion longer than Jarel ever was, and I've held more titles overall than he did here. Money in the Bank and King of the Canvas, the OG Dragon never did that. Tonight, one more time, I'm going to walk out there with the lights on bright and a sold out crowd chanting and cheering. I'm going to put on a show like no one else can. I'm going to show the world one more time that I'm the best wrestler in the world. And I'm going to walk out the final WWFG World Heavyweight champion!"

Drako walks off
